Slope Calculation
In this video it is explained how to calculate the slope between two points having different elevation. First of all difference of the height is calculated then divided by horizontal difference since we take slope in percentage the answer is multiplied by 100.
Formula "height difference divided by horizontal difference multiply by 100.

T-Stub Part3 Numerical Example Different Failure Modes
In this video, three different bolt sizes are used for a thick plate connected to the top of a column, HEA240 steel class S235 to show how the bolt size affects the failure mode of a T-Stub.
a) Determine the effective length for circular and non-circular patterns for the first row of the bolts on the top.
For three bolt diameter, M20, M12 and M8 with the class of 8.8, determine:
b) Each failure mode resistance.
c) Prying force, if applicable, for each mode.
d) Dominant failure mode and possible failure pattern schematically.
