The Full Blooded Italians (or F.B.I.) is a professional wrestling stable and tag team that wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in the late 1990s and for World Wrestling Entertainment during the mid-2000s.

Extreme Championship Wrestling[link]

The original Full Blooded Italians began in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1996 as a comedy stable that placed African American wrestler J.T. Smith with Italian wrestler "Big" Val Puccio, eventually adding two wrestlers from the Southern United States, Tracy Smothers and Tommy Rich, and one more Italian, Little Guido.^[1] Guido has been involved in every ECW and/or WWE incarnation of the F.B.I.^[2] The running gag of the group was that most of the wrestlers were obviously not of Italian descent, but they often claimed to be and acted in stereotypical Italian American ways, including none-too-subtle Mafia references, constant hand gestures, and praising famous Italian figures such as Frank Sinatra and Rocky Balboa. During their ECW run, the crowd would regularly chant "Where's my pizza?" at the group. The group would routinely come out to a techno remix of Stayin' Alive and challenge their opponents to dance-offs.

The group imploded when Smothers and Rich departed the company, leaving Sal E. Graziano to manage Little Guido on his own. The group became less of a comedy act and more of a serious tandem until Tony Mamaluke was added to the duo in early 2000. Together, managed by Graziano, the group feuded with Mikey Whipwreck and Yoshihiro Tajiri, a team led by The Sinister Minister, over the ECW World Tag Team Championship. The group vied for number one contendership of the title in the company's dying months.

World Wrestling Entertainment[link]

SmackDown![link]

After a beating at the hands of Rikishi, Little Guido, known as Nunzio at the time, threatened to bring in his "family" to gain revenge. The next week, Chuck Palumbo and Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli joined with Nunzio to reform the Full Blooded Italians and attacked Rikishi. They initially gained little success, but later had brief feuds with a number of notable wrestlers and tag teams, including Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo), Chris Benoit, Rhyno, and the Acolytes Protection Agency (Faarooq and Bradshaw). The F.B.I. was also used by Mr. McMahon to attack The Undertaker and by Jamie Noble (Nunzio's storyline cousin) to attack Rey Mysterio. When the group turned into fan favorites, they grew in popularity but just as they were getting over, Palumbo was sent to the WWE's Raw brand^[3] which left only Nunzio and Stamboli in the group. In November 2004, Palumbo and Stamboli were released.

Vito appeared on the August 6, 2005 episode of Velocity by aiding Nunzio with a blackjack to help him win the Cruiserweight Championship from Paul London. Soon after, a profile of Vito in SmackDown! Magazine "officially" referred to the new twosome as "The F.B.I." and Vito and Nunzio continued to appear in the tag team division of SmackDown! until Nunzio left Vito when he discovered he was a cross-dresser.

ECW[link]

The F.B.I. reunited briefly at the first-ever One Night Stand pay-per-view event in 2005 and again in 2006 when Little Guido, Tracy Smothers, Tony Mamaluke, Big Guido and J.T. Smith appeared together. In 2006, World Wrestling Entertainment launched the ECW brand and Nunzio (once again using the name Little Guido) left the SmackDown! brand and reformed the F.B.I. with Tony Mamaluke, Big Guido, and new member Trinity. After ECW's television debut, Big Guido left the company. Tony Mamaluke was later released from his WWE contract on January 18, 2007.^[4]

Nu-Wrestling Evolution[link]

After their release from WWE, Stamboli and Palumbo formed a tag team version of the F.B.I. in the Italy-based Nu-Wrestling Evolution,^[5] using the gimmick to make themselves top fan favorites in the company until they left the promotion in 2006.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling[link]

On November 15, 2008, Little Guido and Tracy Smothers formed a version of the F.B.I. in Jersey All Pro Wrestling and defeated The Latin American Xchange in their first match to win the Tag Team Championship. Their success did not last long, as the F.B.I. lost the titles to D-N-A (Dixie and Azrieal) on December 13.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling[link]

On August 4, 2010, it was confirmed that the F.B.I. would be taking part in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's ECW reunion show, Hardcore Justice, on August 8.^[6] At the event Little Guido, Tony Mamaluke (billed as Tony Luke) and Tracy Smothers, accompanied by Sal E. Graziano, defeated Kid Kash, Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger in a six man tag team match.^[7] On the following edition of TNA Impact!, the ECW alumni, known collectively as EV 2.0 and represented by F.B.I. members Guido and Luke, were assaulted by A.J. Styles, Kazarian, Robert Roode, James Storm, Douglas Williams and Matt Morgan of Ric Flair's Fourtune stable, who thought they didn't deserve to be in TNA.^[8][9] The following week TNA president Dixie Carter gave Guido, Luke and the rest of EV 2.0 TNA contracts in order for them to settle their score with Fourtune.^[10] On the August 26 edition of Impact! Guido and Luke were squashed by Roode and Storm in a tag team match.^[11] The match ended F.B.I.'s association with TNA.

Extreme Reunion[link]

The Full Blooded Italians were announced for the 1st ever match of the new Extreme Reunion organisation; which is conceived as a continuation of the original Extreme Championship Wrestling. Their opponents were announced as the Blue World Order (Stevie Richards and the Blue Meanie). ^[12]

Blooded is a novel written by Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder, based on the U.S. television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Plot summary[link]

Chirayoju, an ancient Chinese vampire, and Sanno, a Japanese Mountain King, have been fighting for years. Their spirits were imprisoned in a sword by a curse. The sword arrives in Sunnydale and while viewing the Japanese exhibit at the museum Willow becomes possessed by the spirit of Chirayoju and Xander, later on, becomes possessed by the spirit of Sanno. Buffy must figure out a way to stop the two spirits without killing her own friends. During the final battle, when the fight takes an ugly turn, Buffy must also keep her own spirit alive.

James Tapp, Jr. (September 9, 1977 – November 26, 2003),^[1] better known by his stage name Soulja Slim, was an American rapper who achieved massive success on Master P's No Limit record label. He also achieved fame throughout New Orleans and Nation Wide from his work done with B.G., UNLV, and other local artists. He is known for writing the U.S. No. 1 hit "Slow Motion".^[2]

Life and music career[link]

James Tapp was raised either in the Magnolia Projects or in the 3rd Ward of New Orleans. He attended Booker T. Washington High School before dropping out of school his sophomore year. Tapp released his debut album, Soulja fa Lyfe, on Parkway Pumpin' Records in 1994 under the name Magnolia Slim. In 1995, he released the four-song e.p. The Dark Side on Hype Enough Records. In the same year, the song "You Got It" appeared on No Limit Records double-CD compilation Down South Hustlers: Bouncin' and Swingin' . In 1998, Tapp, now calling himself Soulja Slim, released Give It 2 'Em Raw on No Limit Records with his single and video "From What I Was Told." Soulja Slim was convicted of armed robbery and incarcerated.^[1] He reappeared three years later with Streets Made Me, which was again released on the No Limit label. From there, he started his own label, Cut Throat Committee Records and released Years Later in late 2002. In 2003, he released Years Later...A Few Months After, his last album before his death. The album featured the hit "I'll Pay for It". In 2003 he also collaborated with fellow New Orleans rapper Juvenile to make the song "Slow Motion". The song was released on Juvenile's album Juve the Great and reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It was Soulja Slim and Juvenile's first No. 1 hit, and as the song was released after Soulja Slim's death he became only the sixth artist to have a posthumous No. 1 song.

Shooting and death[link]

On Thanksgiving Eve, November 26, 2003, Slim was en-route to a performance when an unknown gunman shot him four times; three times in the face, and once in the chest, in front of his mother's home in the Gentilly.^[3] Soulja Slim was buried with his Cutthroat Committee charm and jewelry and also the leather camo clothes he's shown wearing on the cover of Give It 2 em' Raw. On New Year's Eve, December 31, 2003, police arrested 22 year old Garelle Smith in connection with Tapp's murder but was released months later. In August 2011, Smith was found dead with gunshot wounds to the face and chest.^[4]

Me and My Girl is a musical with book and lyrics by Douglas Furber and L. Arthur Rose and music by Noel Gay. It takes place in the late 1930s in Hampshire, Mayfair, and Lambeth.

The musical had a successful original run on the West End in 1937 and very successful revivals in both London and New York in the 1980s. The show stopper, “The Lambeth Walk”, was the subject of a news story in The Times of October 1938: “While dictators rage and statesmen talk, all Europe dances — to The Lambeth Walk.”

A film version was produced in 1939, titled The Lambeth Walk.

Production history[link]

It originally opened at the West End Victoria Palace Theatre on December 16, 1937, and starred Lupino Lane. Lane had previously played Bill Snibson in a horseracing comedy play, Twenty to One, that opened in 1935. Me and My Girl was conceived as a fresh vehicle for the character.^{[citation needed]}

At first attracting little notice, the production gained immediate success after a matinee performance was broadcast live on BBC radio, following the cancellation of a sporting event. On May 1, 1939, a performance was televised from the theatre, one of the first times such was done. The original West End production ran for 1,646 performances.

It was revived in 1952. In 1984, a revised production opened at the Leicester Haymarket Theatre with a revised script by Stephen Fry and contributions by Mike Ockrent. It transferred to the West End Adelphi Theatre on February 12, 1985 and closed on January 16, 1993 after an eight year run and 3,303 performances. It starred Robert Lindsay as Bill Snibson, Emma Thompson, and Frank Thornton. The production won two Olivier Awards: Musical of the Year and Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Musical (Robert Lindsay).^[1][2] Cast changes included : Enn Reitel (as Bill Snibson) and Su Pollard (as Sally Smith) in 1986; Gary Wilmot (as Bill Snibson) and Jessica Martin (as Sally Smith) in 1989. Thornton was succeeded by Nicholas Smith. The production subsequently toured throughout Britain.

The revised London production opened on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre on August 10, 1986, and closed on December 31, 1989, after 1,420 performances. Directed by Mike Ockrent with choreography by Gillian Gregory, the cast starred Robert Lindsay and Maryann Plunkett, with George S. Irving and Jane Connell. The production was nominated for 13 Tony Awards and won for Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Choreographer. Jim Dale succeeded Lindsay in the lead role of Bill.^[3] Tim Curry played Bill Snibson in the extensive US Tour that followed the Broadway run.

Numerous productions have been staged over the years all across the UK. In 1997 it even appeared at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre for a limited run with Adam Schumacher as Bill Snibson.

A 70th anniversary production of Me and My Girl had an eight-month British tour during 2006-07.^[4] It was directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle with a cast including Richard Frame (Bill Snibson), Faye Tozer (Sally Smith), Sylvester McCoy, Trevor Bannister and Dillie Keane.

The original star of Me And My Girl, Lupino Lane, was commemorated at The Actors Church, Covent Garden on Tuesday 10 November 2009 by The Music Hall Guild of Great Britain and America.

Sheffield Theatres, United Kingdom produced a revival of 'Me and My Girl' at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield with previews beginning 2 December 2010 until 29 January 2011. An expected transfer to London's West End was scrapped due to there not being a venue available.^[5]

Plot[link]

Act I

In the 1930s, the Harefords, a family of haughty aristocrats, are seeking the legitimate heir to the title of Earl of Hareford. Bill Snibson, a Cockney from Lambeth is found and named as the long-lost “Earl of Hareford”. It seems that the 13th Earl had secretly and briefly wed a girl from a bad neighborhood. But Bill's rough Cockney ways do not satisfy the Will of the last Earl: In order to gain his inheritance of the title and estate, Bill must satisfy the very proper executors (Maria, Duchess of Dene, and Sir John Tremayne) by learning gentlemanly manners. The Duchess thinks that she can make Bill “fit and proper”, but not his Cockney girlfriend, Sally Smith. The Duchess plans a party in Bill's honour, but Sally is not to be invited. Sir John tells Sally that she and Bill ought to return to Lambeth, but he is moved by Sally's heartfelt declaration of love for Bill.

At the party, Bill puts on airs and tries to please his new-found upper-class lawyers, family and servants, but his everyman roots quickly begin to show. Sally shows up in inappropriate garb, with her Lambeth friends, saying that she is going back to where she belongs. Bill seconds this at first but then teaches the nobility The Lambeth Walk.

Act II

Bill must make a speech in the House of Lords in coronet and “vermin”-trimmed peer's robes. Sally leaves, telling him to marry someone with good blood, and, in a scene inspired by Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore, the portraits of Bill's ancestors awaken to remind him of his noblesse oblige.^[6] Bill and Sally have gained an ally in Sir John, who offers to help them by engaging a speech professor who will help Sally impress the Duchess.

Bill constantly bemoans his separation from Sally. Preparing another party for Bill, the Duchess realises how much Sally means to him. This puts her in a romantic mood, and she accepts an offer of marriage from Sir John. Bill, dressed in his old outrageous Cockney clothes, declares that he's going home and goes upstairs to pack. Just then, Sally astonishes everyone by arriving in an elegant gown and tiara and speaking with a perfect upper-crust accent. When Bill returns downstairs, Sally conceals her identity. When she reveals it, Bill is relieved and the couple gain the acceptance of the family.

In 1939, the play was turned into a film directed by Albert de Courville. Lane reprised his stage role of Snibson. The film took its name from the well-known song and dance. The film was a largely faithful adaptation of the musical and was commercially successful and popular with critics.^[7]

Keegan Orry Meth (born 8 February 1988) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He plays domestically for the Matabeleland Tuskers and has represented Zimbabwe in One Day Internationals (ODIs). An all-rounder, he bowls right-arm medium-fast and generally bats in the lower middle order.

He attended Whitestone school, Falcon College and subsequently Christian Brothers College. His academic performance was poor, but he excelled in sport. He made his debut for Zimbabwe in 2006, in a One Day International (ODI) against Kenya at Bulawayo. He was aged 18 at the time.^[1]

He lost two teeth and suffered a broken jaw when he was struck by Nasir Hossain off his own bowling while playing in the last ODI of the UCB Cup on August 21, 2011 against Bangladesh.
