Ember spirit is one of the new heroes out in the Diretide patch! The hero is VERY fun to play. He's quite mobile, has a really interesting skillset with decent scaling, and all around has a very strong mid game. He is counterable by burst damage, stuns, and silences, so if you are annoying playing against him, pick those! I put a lot of thought into the hero the last few days so I'm quite content with my skill and item build this game, though I'd maybe swap out the maelstrom for a Desolator in the early game if there was an exceptionally tank hero. Dota 2 Purge plays Faceless Void

Faceless Void is one of the hardest carries in the game because of his ultimate, which gives him the ability to hard disable the entire enemy team, if it's well placed and well timed. Void has been getting a couple of buffs recently because the hero is a lot worse in lane than many other carries, so his chrono now produces 2x damage bashes which means his kill potential at 6 is much higher if you get a bit lucky. To make that stronger, attack speed items are much more powerful now than straight damage items, and this midas treads Mask of Madness build is the best for early game solo kill potential. It affects your farm a bit, but that's why you pick up midas(to compensate and give attack speed). Tuskar is a strong mid hero who has the potential to snowball excessively because of his burst damage. This makes him a very fun hero because going around and slaying is an enjoyable way to play the game. Max out your ice shards and your snowball, get your opponent below 50% hp, and then punch them into the air so that they die. I think Shadowblade is still a core item on him despite the nerf to cooldown, as it gives you a bit more burst damage for your combo. Tiny is a pretty strong mid hero because he can snowball from hero kills because of his exp advantage. Bottle is absolutely core on Tiny because it allows you to fill your low mana poool after you use your mana. If you get a little rune control it can really allow you to make big plays and be a major force in teamfights, as you do aoe damage and try to solo kill heroes. I felt like picking up a blink dagger this game, though it wasn't the most effecient build at all, but it allows me to roam and solo kill their mobile and annoying heroes a bit better. Bristleback is one of my favorite heroes because of his tanky playstyle that allows you to get up in your opponents faces and dish out some major damage. He kind of works as a carry because he does some serious right click damage, but late game he peaks off a bit because your opponents will be able to build force staffs and ghost scepters, which make it hard for you to secure kills. With appropriate farm, though, you can be a counter to Huskar if you get the right items up at the right times, so try him versus huskar some time! Dota 2 Purge plays Morphling

Morphling is a pretty low win rate carry hero, but he has a lot of potential for a few reasons. He has a good nuke in lane so it's pretty easy to kill steal, his damage can be pretty high in early lane(at a cost of his hp), and he has relatively good survivability as well with morph. I strongely recommend going for the shotgun morphling build, as it helps you snowball from kills in the mid game, rather than doing just a dps morph build with linkens and manta. I've tried both builds a moderate amount and the shotgun is far superior. Bounty Hunter is one of the best offlane heroes in the game currently because of his ability to sap experience, and while ganking or team fighting, give your team a huge gold advantage through track kills, which drastically increase the amount of money you get. This is offset by his relatively low team fight ability as a hero other than some burst damage and the track movement speed and vision. The most important trick that you can learn as bounty hunter is the invis double tap, which allows you to get 2 last hits or 2 harass windwalk hits in for 50 mana, which makes the damage MUCH more cost efficient! Make sure you do this when it's close whether or not you'll get a kill! Sven is one of the scariest hard carries in the game when he gets farmed now because his cleave is a HUGE percentage now. If you couple this with magic immunity, A mask of Madness, and a damage item or two, then he's very likely to kill a few heroes with his first couple of hits. If you guys are looking to watch a video of me farming for 30 minutes and then eventually teamfighting, then this is the video for you! I don't like playing sven very much unless it gets into games like this because I find the hero isn't that useful before you get all of these items. Or maybe I just suck at him. He generally runs into problems from ganking, but can still be a powerful hero despite having little farm. He does end up being a bit of a glass cannon, but cycling through your spells can cause some huge damage. I built this game towards a Force Staff because of the amount of diving heroes that I was dealing with. I sometimes will pick up an Aghanihms first. I got a lot of nice roam from my allies this game which helped me transition well into the mid game, despite not cs'ing very well. The typical blitz build is bloodstone into either an orchid or a linkens followed up by whichever one you didn't get first. I opted for a sheep after the Orchid to help against the weaver. Razor is a very good hero in the mid lane versus OD because of his ability to damage steal, which gives you a rare last hitting advantage versus the hero. With some lane dominance, you can transition into teamfight items like Black King Bar and Mek, and then fight with your team. Razor peaks off a bit around the 40 minute mark usually, so you counteract that with an Aghs Refresher, which lets you rip through your opponents really rapidly while reducing their armor.
