Rufus Hound (born Robert James Blair Simpson; on 6 March 1979) is an English comedian, actor and presenter.
Hound hosted Destination Three, the coverage of the Glastonbury Festival and Top of the Pops in 2005 and 2006 alongside Fearne Cotton. He presented the idiosyncratic reality show Grime Scene Investigation on BBC Three with staff and students from Aston University, and narrated BBC Two's broadcasts of Mythbusters. He has also appeared in many comedy shows and quizzes such as Street Cred Sudoku, Nevermind the Buzzcocks and Celebrity Juice, where he was a regular panellist. He narrated the 2009 series Rocket Science and has appeared on The Apprentice: You're Fired! and Richard & Judy. He also presented Outtake TV on BBC1, replacing Anne Robinson.
In early 2008, Hound appeared twice on ITV's Thank God You're Here in the UK, after initially working as the warm-up act. In late summer 2008, Hound joined the panel show Argumental as the Blue Team Captain. Hound was the narrator for the gaming series Playr and presents What Do Kids Know? on UKTV-owned channel Watch. In 2010, he appeared in his own sitcom on CBBC called Hounded, where he plays a TV presenter who must save the universe from an evil doctor. Hound took part in Let's Dance for Sport Relief, dancing to Cheryl Cole's "Fight for This Love" and won the final of the series on 13 March 2010. He also hosted the year 2000 edition of new show "My Funniest Year", a look at a past year of British television, which was broadcast on Channel 4 in September 2010.
Rufus is a masculine given name, a surname, an Ancient Roman cognomen and a nickname. Notable people with the name include:
Celebrity Juice is a British television comedy panel game on ITV2, broadcast since 24 September 2008. The show is written and presented by Keith Lemon, the alter-ego of comedian Leigh Francis.
The format for the series was first suggested in 2007, after the final series of Leigh Francis' Channel 4 sketch show Bo' Selecta!. ITV approached Francis to create a show featuring popular alter-ego Keith Lemon, and after the success of the five-part series Keith Lemon's Very Brilliant World Tour, the channel commissioned Celebrity Juice.
The original premise of the show was to see which team knows most about the week's tabloid news stories, although later series focus more on the comedy factor of the participating celebrity guests and games involving them, rather than discussing the week's news.
The show's regular team captains are Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton. Occasionally, guest captains will fill in for Willoughby or Cotton when they are absent for personal reasons, with Emma Bunton, Chris Moyles and Jonathan Ross being the most notable guest captains. For the ninth series Kelly Brook replaced Fearne Cotton while she was on maternity leave. Willoughby appeared in episode 1 of series 12, but was replaced by Gino D'Acampo for the rest of the series. D'Acampo became a regular panelist from series 13 following the return of Willoughby.
Kim Woodburn (born Patricia Mary McKenzie; 25 March 1942, Portsmouth, Hampshire) is an English television presenter and expert cleaner who is best known for co-presenting the British television programme How Clean Is Your House? and in 2007, starred in the Canadian series Kim's Rude Awakenings.
Born in 1942 in Eastney, near Portsmouth, as a child Patricia was fascinated by her grandmother, a charwoman, who taught her how to clean. She undertook many jobs in her adult life. She worked for a time as a social worker to teenage girls also as a member of staff in children's homes in Liverpool, in retail, and as a Littlewoods model in Liverpool in the late 1960s. In 1983, she made her first appearance on television on Pebble Mill at One, demonstrating knitwear. This was her only television appearance for the next 20 years, while she worked as a house cleaner in the UK and US.
In 2002, she auditioned for Channel 4, while earning £1,000 a month as a cleaner. She was hired as a presenter of new show How Clean is Your House?, which began in February 2003, and eventually became the highest paid Channel 4 female presenter. At the age of 61, Woodburn was catapulted into stardom as the show became an instant success. She filmed a version of the show in the US. In 2006 she wrote an autobiography, Unbeaten, which detailed her early life and was the first time she revealed the death of her baby. This revelation led to a police investigation, which she readily assisted with. In 2008, the sixth and final series of How Clean is Your House? was aired. She has also appeared in pantomime with TV co-star Aggie MacKenzie, appearing at the Theatre Royal in Brighton.

Rufus Hound QUIT Celeb Juice after row with Kim, Rufus Hound quit Celebrity Juice over explosive row with Celebrity Big Brother’s Kim Woodburn RUFUS Hound has revealed that he quit Celebrity Juice, following an explosive row with Kim Woodburn. Speaking to stand-up comedian Richard Herring on his podcast, which was broadcast in 2013, Hound said he had no choice but to leave after a ‘personal’ row spiralled out of control. This is the same row Phillip Schofield referred to in his interview with Woodburn on This Morning yesterday. Hound, was a regular panellist on Keith Lemon’s TV panel game show, and got into an unexpected slanging match with the Celebrity Big Brother star. And he told herring that not only did he feel “marginalised” on the show, but the lack of support from the producers h...
