The Babalon Working was a series of magic ceremonies or rituals performed from January to March, 1946 by author, pioneer rocket-fuel scientist, and occultist Jack Parsons and Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard. This ritual was essentially designed to manifest an individual incarnation of the archetypal divine feminine called Babalon. The project was based on the ideas of Aleister Crowley, and his description of a similar project in his 1917 novel Moonchild.
When Parsons declared that the first of the series of rituals was complete and successful, he almost immediately met Marjorie Cameron in his own home, and regarded her as the elemental that he and Hubbard had called through the ritual. Soon Parsons began the next stage of the series, an attempt to conceive a child through sexual magick workings. Although no child was conceived, this did not affect the result of the ritual to that point. Parsons and Cameron, who Parsons now regarded as the Scarlet Woman - Babalon - called forth by the ritual, soon married.

Lafayette Ronald Hubbard (March 13, 1911 – January 24, 1986), better known as L. Ron Hubbard (/ɛl rɒn ˈhʌˌbərd/, ELL-ron-HUB-ərd) and often referred to by his initials, LRH, was an American author and the founder of the Church of Scientology. In 2014, Hubbard was cited by the Smithsonian magazine as one of the ten most influential religious figures and one of the 100 Most Significant Americans of all time. After establishing a career as a writer, becoming best known for his science fiction and fantasy stories, he developed a system called Dianetics which was first expounded in book form in May 1950. He subsequently developed his ideas into a wide-ranging set of doctrines and practices as part of a new religious movement that he called Scientology. His writings became the guiding texts for the Church of Scientology and a number of affiliated organizations that address such diverse topics as business administration, literacy and drug rehabilitation. The Church's dissemination of these materials led to Hubbard being listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most translated and published author in the world.

A Paul Weston lecture from Glastonbury Occult Conference March 21st 2015. The story of the Babalon Working is an occult legend. Rocket scientist Jack Parsons, future founder of Scientology L Ron Hubbard, and fiercely individual witch-woman artist Marjorie Cameron used the ideas of Aleister Crowley to try and bring forth a goddess into the modern world of the A Bomb and Gnostic revival. The results were mysterious, controversial, and even catastrophic. Paul uses material from his book Aleister Crowley and the Aeon of Horus to give unique insight into this story, including a contentious take on the role of Hubbard. Deliberately posted on the anniversary of Jack Parsons death.
We delve more into the connections between war, science and magic...and we expose the work of a very special ritual developed by a NASA pioneer and 'genius' rocket scientist,(performed on this very date), and we explore what it means to us today. A must for prayer warriors and spiritual warfare strategists.
There is a lot of interesting information out there regarding the connection between L Ron Hubbard and John Whiteside Parsons. The Babylon Working was an interesting ritual they both participated in. Regretfully, most of the videos on this subject contain flawed or inaccurate information and references. Most seem to be made by people with only cursory knowledge of Qabalah, Thelema, and/or esoteric practises. This video is no exception. There are definite errors and flawed information. I'm choosing to upload it anyway because despite these issues there are important information and ideas contained in it. "Diamonds in the rough" if you will.....This topic is not explored as often as I would like and anything which gets people researching this topic holds at least SOME value. If ther...
BABALON WORKING
A FILM BY BRIAN BUTLER --Вы по-русски здорово говорите, -- заметил Бездомный. -- О, я вообще полиглот и знаю очень большое количество языков, -- ответил профессор. -- А у вас какая специальность? -- осведомился Берлиоз. -- Я -- специалист по черной магии.
Did they let something into our world? The story of when a rocket science pioneer and the founder of Scientology spent three months in the Mojave desert. They were performing high ritual magic, based on the work of Aleister Crowley. The men wanted to bring on a new age of humanity but did they bring the UFO presence to the earth instead?
To occult artist Brian Butler, aesthetics are "magick." Elevating mystic practices to the status of art—or elevating art to the status of ritual—Butler's films and performances are themselves Orphic ceremonies and Satanic rites. Pentagrams, triangles, liturgical hoods in red, white, and black, these iconographic shapes and costumes have a sacred as well as aesthetic function. The arresting imagery and trance-inducing editing of his latest short film are no exception. Butler's mentor and collaborator Kenneth Anger once compared making a movie to casting a spell. Perhaps this film will make that assertion literal: "The Babalon Working" was a ritual devised and practiced by occult master Jack Parsons to manifest Babalon, the divine feminine. Watch and wait.
