Lois is determined to know Harry, and pays a flower girl to let her wear her coat, hat and sell her flowers. Lois sees Harry and offers him her roses. He is vastly attracted to her. Lois induces the flower girl to let her take her place for several days, and Harry and Lois get quite chummy. Harry discovers the deception, and bribes the real flower girl to show him where Lois lives. Bribing the butler, he dons his uniform, telling the maid that he has taken the regular butler's place as the latter is sick. Lois and the pseudo-butler meet in the garden, and observing that Lee is jealous, Lois asks Lee to go shopping for her. Harry's awkwardness at serving tea causes Lois' mother to scold him. The demands of the real butler for money to get drink causes a delay, and Harry is scolded again. Lee comes back and recognizes Harry through his disguise. The two college youths then set upon the tipsy butler and trounce him. Explanations clear the way for Harry's formal introduction to Mamma, who looks amiably upon Harry's suit.

Richard Feynman: The Beauty of the Flower
http://www.FreeScienceLectures.com
This video is from 1981. The interview is also the subject of Feynman's book The Pleasure of Finding Things Out.
I have a friend who's an artist and he's some times taken a view which I don't agree with very well. He'll hold up a flower and say, "look how beautiful it is," and I'll agree, I think. And he says, "you see, I as an artist can see how beautiful this is, but you as a scientist, oh, take this all apart and it becomes a dull thing." And I think he's kind of nutty.
First of all, the beauty that he sees is available to other people and to me, too, I believe, although I might not be quite as refined aesthetically as he is. But I can appreciate the beauty of a flower.
At the same time, I see much more about the flower that he sees. I could imagin...

Enthüllt, the flower garden
Two stones that indicate an opening can create a door, if you can see it and you pass through, everything is different, while remaining in the same place.
The door is a gap, an interval, jealously guarded by two guardians, represented in the myths in various ways: mermaids, centaurs, Minotaur, angels with flaming swords, dragons, half-human and half-animal beings. They symbolize fear and desire, to meet the door of the inner temple is to meet the demons that veil and cloud it. The flower garden behind the door is the place, where from the mud and the plastic, flowers bloom of a new humanity, crossing the door, the two guardians meet, are revealed, and dissolving, they gather in the bright awareness.

Richard Feynman: The Beauty of the Flower
videos
http://www.FreeScienceLectures.com
This video is from
1981.
The interview is also the subject of
Feynman's book
The Pleasure of Finding
Things Out.
I have a friend who's an artist and he's some times taken a view which I don't agree with very well. He'll hold up a flower and say, "look how beautiful it is," and
I'll agree, I think. And he says, "you see, I as an artist can see how beautiful this is, but you as a scientist, oh, take this all apart and it becomes a dull thing."
And I think he's kind of nutty.
First of all, the beauty that he sees is available to other people and to me, too,
I believe, although I might not be quite as refined aesthetically as he is. But I can appreciate the beauty of a flower.
At the same time, I see much more about the flower that he sees. I could imagine the cells in there, the complicated actions inside which also have a beauty. I mean, it's not just beauty at this dimension of one centimeter: there is also beauty at a smaller dimension, the inner structure
... also the processes.
The fact that the colors in the flower are evolved in order to attract insects to pollinate it is interesting - it means that insects can see the color.
It adds a question - does this aesthetic sense also exist in the lower forms that are... why is it aesthetic, all kinds of interesting questions which a science knowledge only adds to the excitement and mystery and the awe of a flower.
It only adds. I don't understand how it subtracts.

The Eyes of a Flower: interview with Buddhist Nun & Singer Ani Choying Drolma (Matei Georgescu)
videos
Ani Choying Drolma, the founder of the Nuns Welfare
Foundation of
Nepal, was born in
1971 in Nepal. At the age of 13, she joined
Nagi Gompa, a
Buddhist nunnery on Shivapuri
Mountain on the northern slope of the
Kathmandu valley. Her education and spiritual training was supervised by the renowned meditation master,
Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche. She was educated in
Buddhist meditation, chants, rituals and ceremonies and quickly advanced to the position of the chanting master in the nunnery.
Later, she resigned from this position to become Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche's personal health attendant and served him until his parinirvana (passing away) in
February 1996. From seeing Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche's altruistic life-style, always giving to others, without considering his own welfare, she developed a sincere desire to use whatever capacities she has to benefit beings as much as possible. Because Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche himself held nuns in the same regard as monks, Ani Choying Drolma believes that creating more opportunities for nuns to study and to develop their own capacities for skillful and compassionate action is the best way she can dedicate herself to her teacher's vision throughout her life. She is committed to do whatever she can to promote the advancement of nuns, not only for their own benefit but because they will then be better prepared to serve and benefit others.
Ani Choying Drolma is an internationally reputed singer of Buddhist hymns and chants who has toured extensively in
North America,
Asia and
Europe. A philanthropist dedicated to the welfare of
Buddhist nuns, who founded the
Arya Tara School in the year
2000 for nuns.
The school runs with the help of proceeds from her concerts tours, CD sales and donation.

Two stones that indicate an opening can create a door, if you can see it and you pass through, everything is different, while remaining in the same place.
The door is a gap, an interval, jealously guarded by two guardians, represented in the myths in various ways: mermaids, centaurs,
Minotaur, angels with flaming swords, dragons, half-human and half-animal beings. They symbolize fear and desire, to meet the door of the inner temple is to meet the demons that veil and cloud it.
The flower garden behind the door is the place, where from the mud and the plastic, flowers bloom of a new humanity, crossing the door, the two guardians meet, are revealed, and dissolving, they gather in the bright awareness.

the interesting thing on this vid is that in the original live audio was marred with technical diffiulties,so bad that vocals were not heard for the 1st 45 seconds, only music. Also looks like someone else cropped the original color video. The other weird thing, inthe b & w vid, there is no mom or girls in the video, yet we heard their vocals.
