This video gives a quick overview and asks why Hitec's system only uses about half of the available 2.4GHz band, while others such as Futaba FASST use the entire band. This is a follow-up to parts 1 and 2 of the Hitec Spectra AFHSS module/receiver review. In this video I show how the Hitec module and Optima receivers can effectively work around a strong interfering signal and how, when the conditions are right, the system will also spread itself across more of the band by spacing its 20 operating channels more widely. I also discovered that once the scan mode has configured the channels to be used, switching back to the "normal" mode will mean that the system continues to use those selected channels until such time as you switch back to scan mode. A review of the lightweight tent that I carry on lightweight to ultra lightweight backpacking trips. It's the V-Lite2 by Hi-Tec. I've found it to be a quality low cost option for a 2 person, 3 season tent that is very compact and weighs in at under 2 and a half pounds when using it the way I illustrate in the video. When looking into purchasing this tent I couldn't find any gear reviews on it, so I figured I'd post one. Hope this helps if you're looking into this tent. The Limit? Extreme Hi tec Slingshot

Draw length increased slingshots are more powerful than conventional models. In countries where braced slingshots are legal, many people build so-called "Starships", because with an arm brace you can simpy forward extend the fork, like you would have a longer arm. But this makes the slingshot bulky, and also it is not good for accuracy. The Slingshot Channel already presented draw length increased models, using rollers and ball bearings. But this new design adds a whopping 30 cm (12") draw length! This was only possible by using four ball bearinged pulleys. The speed is just amazing.
