After receiving my certificate a few weeks ago in an SR20, I got the high performance endorsement last week and so now I am legal to fly the 310 hp SR22. A short flight to practice some landings and get more comfortable with the airplane.

Cirrus SR22 IFR Flight from Ohio to Southern Florida through Weather and Storms
Picked up my first owned airplane, a Cirrus SR-22 G2 GTS from Cincinnati, OH and flew back home to Boca Raton, FL. A total of 794 nautical miles, but had to divert off course and away from the weather on our way to Saint Simon's Island, GA. The entire flight was IFR and lots of actual IMC especially after departure and North of Georgia. For this flight I had some great company. My buddies Heath and Jason are both pilots with lots of experience. They made the flight so much easier having the extra set of eyes and skills helping out with all facets of the mission, from choosing the right route, to radios to double checking my work and helping with the workload. Enjoy the video!

It appears an American satellite has found the likely spot where Europe’s Schiaparelli probe hit the surface of Mars on Wednesday, BBC News reported Friday. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) has identified a large dark patch in the robot's targeted landing zone consistent with a high-velocity impact.
