Developmental coordination disorder (DCD) also known as developmental dyspraxia is a chronic neurological disorder beginning in childhood that can affect planning of movements and co-ordination as a result of brain messages not being accurately transmitted to the body. Developmental coordination disorder is diagnosed in the absence of other neurological impairments like cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. It affects 5 to 6 per cent of school aged children.
Developmental coordination disorder is classified (by doctors) in the fifth revision of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) as a motor disorder, in the category of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Various areas of development can be affected by developmental coordination disorder and these will persist into adulthood, as DCD has no cure. Often various coping strategies are developed, and these can be enhanced through occupational therapy, psychomotor therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, or psychological training.

Two sparks
Ignition in a box
Too slow for the fire brigade
Young hearts
Dashed upon the rocks
Young love and it's starting to fade
Dark light looking like fox
You look at me in a particular way
Two sparks
Ignition in a box
It's a na na na na
Red sharks circling the box
till now
I was never afraid
Sky locks
Are you ready for the chop
Eyes closed
Now you're part of the blade
Black marks
Better run and never stop
get gone if you wanna be saved
Red sharks circling the box
It's a na na na na
We're gonna burn you
Two sparks
Ignition in a box
Too slow for the fire brigade
Young hearts
Dashed upon the rocks
Young love and it's starting to fade
Dark light looking like fox
You look at me in a particular way
Two sparks
Ignition in a box
It's a na na na na
