For 'The Lion City', the idea behind the extension of the tilt shift technique is for focus and distance to be something the viewer can experience. It also doubles to communicate the constant heat and humidity that hits you whenever you leave the comfort of air conditioning in Singapore.

ENCORE - The Movie - Wallis Bird
Filminfo - english:
Berlin in late summer 2011 - or to be more exact, what was left of summer 2011. Philipp Kaessbohrer and his team used the last sunbeams of summertime to film Wallis Bird and her band in Berlin's old broadcasting studio. Five songs were shot across three days inside what remains of the former GDR radio station, an impressive architectural construction whose former glory has, over the years, become gradually run-down and dilapidated. Wallis and her band - German brothers Christian and Michael, and Aoife and Aidan from Ireland - were filmed over three long days as they interacted, played and recorded together. The outcome is a 25 minute 'Songumentary', connected through the songs 'Encore', 'I Am So Tired of that Line', 'Heartbeating City', 'In Dictum' and 'Ghosts of Memories', all of which originate on the upcoming third record "Wallis Bird" (released March 9th). Featuring an impromptu party; the subsequent hangover; creative frustration; some breathtaking performances; and even a wolf.
Filminfo - deutsch
März 2012 erscheinenden, dritten Wallis Bird Album stammen.
