May 24 (Bloomberg) -- Howard Davies, chairman of the London School of Economics, talks with Bloomberg about efforts to trim the UK budget deficit and the sovereign debt crisis in Europe. Davies spoke with Bloomberg's Francine Lacqua before UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne unveiled 6.25 billion pounds ($9 billion) of spending cuts this year.
