1. Sam Montgomery DE/OLB Louisiana state 6'4 245 Grade: 188/200 JR.
Best Qualities: Is long Quick step versatile athlete a true pass rusher with great 1st step. Long arms and will swat pass down even when out of Sack Reach. Knows how to read blocks and slide to the run play. Underrated player on a great D-line when playing with under blockers pads is almost unstop with his long reach. He gets a lot of attention. Fights every play won't stop even if he beaten or blew his responsibility.
Worst Qualities: Gets beat at point of attack and can get lost in Traffic. Inconsistent game to game guy who went the 1st half of the 2011 season with 2.5 sacks. Doesn't always finish tackles, lacks strength and will need to hit the gym. Likes to stand up straight allot and will rarely dip his hips. Not sound in his technique.
2. Jackson Jeffcoat DE/OLB Texas 6'5 250 Grade:187/200 JR
Best Qualities: knows how to stand up or put his hand down when pass rushing and can do it in multiple places. Will Fight threw trash. Is Stronger than his frame indicates he is. Long arms and will bat down a lot of low pass. Has great football bloodlines dad played in the NFL pro bowl. Knows how to use hands to collapse pocket is effective pass rusher even when he doesn't get sack. Doesn't give up ground and will rarely is put on his butt. Can get a sack even when being blocked and will dip his hips. Has a limited reps dropping back in Coverage. Finishes games will and has a knack for getting pressure in the 4th conditioning is not a problem.
Worst Qualities: Lacks a great burst that what separates him from being an Elite Pass rusher. Knows when he beat and won't always run to the football. Is rarely the first one to the football and will have to have good supporting cast to have production. Plays the pass on his way to the QB and will sometimes lose run Contain. Had a lot of slow starts to games and might have to feel you out before getting there.
3. Bjoern Werner Florida state 6'4 273 Grade:171/200 JR
Best Qualities: Maxed out frame has NFL Body already. Extremely hard to move plays the run just a well as the pass rare to see that these days. Keeps his feet under him. A bear on the line and is aggressive. Very Mature and will be a model citizen in the NFL.
Worst Qualities: Not the highest football IQ in will have to play a detailed position. Not A big playmaker and won't make too many wow plays outside of sacks. Not overly Athletic. A little slow and won't beat to many people with his speed rush. Limited starts.
4. Alex Okafor Texas 6'5 260 Grade:164/200 SR
Best Qualities: Extremely athletic is going be a Work out stud. Strong and Can Play the Contain. Has upside potential that can be mix of Size and Speed. Broke out last year. A good Strip and sack guy. Has Great Hips for Dipping and bending. Height weight speed guy. Sometimes is unblockable. Can play different spots on the line an play inside form time to time.
Worst Qualities: Inconsistent is not the dominate Pass rusher. First two years he was an underachiever. Not versatile and fits an Even Front more than an odd front. Has a hard time getting it going against elite pass blockers early
5. William Gholston 6'7 275 Grade: 151/200 Michigan state
Best Qualities: Aggressive has NFL Blood lines. Will bring it every down. Could also be a 3-4 DE in the in the NFL. Has a unique frame extremely tall. Can knock down a ball while engaged hard to see over.
Worst Qualities: Is a bit of a lose canon. Has huge character problems and will have to get drafted by a strong locker room. Not the kind of guy you build your defense from. Will be misjudge because his last name.
6. Michael Buchanan 6'6 240 DE/OLB Grade:144/200 Illinois
Best Qualities: Long frame with ability to grow. Has a ton of upside get after the QB with had huge sack numbers. Can play on either side of the line. Has great acceleration. He has mastered the sack and strip. He could cause a lot of turnovers. Knows how to get a good jump on the snap.
Worst Qualities: Is not very strong and will have a hard time early in his career vs. the run. Sometimes pulls back and won't always make the Splash plays. Situational player.
7. Corey Lemonier 6'4 240 Grade:141/200 Auburn
Best Qualities: Big game player put's up his big numbers verse elite competition. Dominated Georgia and Florida. As Great hips and can get under blockers. Good open field tackler. Better football player than athlete.
Worst Qualities: not a run stuffer. Not overly strong. Not a work out worrier and will be dismissed by others draft board. Projected as a Situational pass rusher in the NFL. Makes himself blockable. Doesn't have a ton of Pass rush moves and is very predictable. Doesn't play like he 6'4 plays like he 6'2
