The Eastern Libyans : Tehenu, Temehu, Meshwesh
4,500 years ago in Egypt, coming from the West of the Nile valley, a confederation of warrior tribes menace the most powerful empire of Ancient Times : the Pharaohs. Terrorized ancient Egyptians call these dreadful warriors living in the Western Desert and Cyrenaica (current Benghazi region, modern Libya): the Tehenu or Tjehenu (" التنحو ") , Temehu or Tjemehu (" التمحو ") , Meshwesh (" الماشواش ")x( "زعماء ما العظام "). Battle after battle, war after war, over centuries, they depict these hostile tribesmen on the walls of their various temples, burial chambers and monuments. Historians (W. Perrie, O. Bates, K. Kitchen, etc.) call these fierce warlords of Ancient Times the " Eastern Libyans " ancestors of Imazighen Libya, current berber populations living in Libya. Portraits of these Estern Libyans are found notably in the following sites in Egypt and various museum: the Tomb of Pharaoh Seti I 1294 --1279 BC Tomb KV 17 Room No. 5 Book of the Gates : The four races of mankind Valley of the Kings Thebes - Luxor, Egypt | Pharaoh Ramses III 1186 - 1154 BC, Tomb KV 11 Valley of the Kings & Temple of Medinet Habu & Excavations at Tell al Yehudia | Pyramid of Pharaoh Sahure 2487 - 2475 B.C Scene from the Causeway, Pyramid complex at Abusir, fragment property of Neues Museum ÄM 21782, Berlin, Germany | Tomb of Anen Chancellor of Pharaoh Amenhotep III 1391 -1352 B.C Theban necropolis Tomb TT 120 Thebes - Luxor, Egypt | Tomb of Ken-Amon / Qenamun Royal Steward of Pharaoh Amenhotep II 1428 -1401 B.C Tomb TT 93 Valley of the Nobles, Thebes, Egypt & The Metropolitan Museum, New York.- published: 26 Dec 2013

Amazigh king Sheshonq once conquered Israel
The Berber Prince Sheshonq (also known as Shishak or Sheshak شيشنق ) of Libyan origin (tribe Meshwesh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meshwesh) became the ruler of Egypt in 945 BC. J. -C , and founded the Pharaoh's XXII dynasty. Shortly after his accession to power, he launched a military expedition unprecedented since Ramesses III ( XX Dynasty) against the Hebrew Kingdoms of the South ( Judah ) and the North (Israel). His successful campaign is commemorated on the southern wall of the temple of Amun-Ra at Karnak ( ancient city of Thebes current Louxour in Egypt) where hieroglyphics confirm the conquest by this Libyan Pharaoh Sheshonq of notably ancient fortresses of Gezer and Har Megiddo ( Armageddon ) built by King Solomon himself. To prevent the sacking of Jerusalem, the Bible says that Rehoboam , son of Solomon , king of Judah, gave to Sheshonq all the treasures of the First Temple and the palace (see The Bible, Old Testament , Chapter Kings XIV , 26) . The ruins of the ancient city of Gezer in Israel ( http://www.gezerproject.org/ ) reveal traces of destruction by fire of this ancient stronghold which destruction is attributed by experts to the powerful army of this berber king Sheshonq. The question remains open and discussed among experts to determine whether it is the same Libyan Berber King Sheshonq who have also taken the Ark of the Covenant during his military campaign into Israel.- published: 13 Dec 2013

The Sea peoples
The Sea peoples
The major event of the reign of the Pharaoh Merneptah (1213 BCE--1203 BCE),[21] 4th king of the 19th Dynasty, was his battle against a confederacy termed "the Nine Bows" at Perire in the western delta in the 5th and 6th years of his reign. Depredations of this confederacy had been so severe that the region was "forsaken as pasturage for cattle, it was left waste from the time of the ancestors."[22] The pharaoh's action against them is attested in four inscriptions: the Great Karnak Inscription, describing the battle, the Cairo Column, the Athribis Stele (the last two of which are shorter versions of the Great Karnak), and a stele found at Thebes, called variously the Hymn of Victory, the Merneptah Stele or the Israel Stele. It describes the reign of peace resulting from the victory.[23] The Nine Bows were acting under the leadership of the king of Libya and an associated near-concurrent revolt in Canaan involving Gaza, Ashkelon, Yenoam and the people of Israel. Exactly which peoples were consistently in the Nine Bows is not clear, but present at the battle were the Libyans, some neighboring Meshwesh,- published: 06 Jan 2014

EGYPT 527 - RAMESSES III - (by Egyptahotep)
RAMESSES III was the second Pharaoh of the XXth Dynasty and is considered the last great Pharaoh of new Kingdom.. He was the son of Setnakhte and Queen Tiy-merenese. Ramesses III reigned from 1186 to 1155 BC. or 1187 to 1156 BC) During his long tenure in the midst of the surrounding political chaos of the Greek Dark Ages, Egypt was beset by foreign invaders (including the so-called Sea Peoples and the Libyans) and experienced the beginnings of increasing economic difficulties and internal strife which would eventually lead to the collapse of the XXth Dynasty. In Year 8 of his reign, the Sea Peoples, including Peleset, Denyen, Shardana, Meshwesh of the sea, and Tjekker, invaded Egypt by land and sea. Ramesses III defeated them in two great land and sea battles. Although the Egyptians had a reputation as poor seamen they fought tenaciously. Rameses lined the shores with ranks of archers who kept up a continuous volley of arrows into the enemy ships when they attempted to land on the banks of the Nile. Then the Egyptian navy attacked using grappling hooks to haul in the enemy ships. In the brutal hand to hand fighting which ensued, the Sea People were finally defeated. Ramesses III claims that he incorporated the Sea Peoples as subject peoples and settled them in Southern Canaan, although there is no clear evidence to this effect; the pharaoh, unable to prevent their gradual arrival in Canaan, may have claimed that it was his idea to let them reside in this territory. Ramesses III was also compelled to fight invading Libyan tribesmen in two major campaigns .The great cost of these battles slowly exhausted Egypt's treasury and contributed to the gradual decline of the Egyptian Empire in Asia. The severity of these difficulties is stressed by the fact that the first known labor strike in recorded history occurred during Year 29 of Ramesses III's reign, when the food rations for the Egypt's favoured and elite royal tomb-builders and artisans in the village of Set Maat her imenty Waset (now known as Deir el Medina), could not be provisioned.Bad harvests aggravated the problem even more, The result in Egypt was a substantial inflation in grain prices under the later reigns of Ramesses VI-VII whereas the prices for fowl and slaves remained constant. The cooldown, hence, affected Ramesses III's final years and impaired his ability to provide a constant supply of grain rations to the workman of the Deir el-Medina community.A smallpox epidemic aggravated even more the things,Moreover Ramesses III had to suffer the loss of several of his young children. Moreover a judicial Papyrus from the time describes perfectly a conspiracy to murder Ramesses III. Tiye, one of Ramesses III known wives. wanted her son, Pentaweret, in the throne as successor and she set in motion a complex conspiracy involving many of court officials to kill both Rameses and his preferred heir, Rameses IV, the son of another wife.the conspiracy failed and the perpetrators were arrested and punished.Despite this Ramesses III died a few time later and the autopsy of the mummy of Ramesses III, confirms he was killed, is notorius a deep cut in his throat that affected even his veins & arteries (jugular & Carotid) was a Deadly wound. Despite this harem conspiracy, Rameses IV was the successor of Rameses III as he desired in this video you can see sculptures of him, paintings of him in amon her khopshef's tomb (one of his sons),images of his marvelous temple of medinet habu,a painting of him in khonsu temple in Karnak, his tomb, sarcophagus and finally his mummy.- published: 26 Aug 2013
