AVIATION MAINTENANCE

National Aviation Academy's (NAA) aviation maintenance education is an FAA Part 147 accredited program for students wanting an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P;) certification. NAA also offers avionics training for those who possess an A&P; certification. The avionics course focuses on the electrical components and systems of an aircraft. NAA offers a 14-month Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) course and a 7-month Avionics Technology (AVT) program. When paired together students will attend NAA for 21 months and receive instruction in aviation maintenance and avionics. This program is called the Aviation Maintenance Professional (AMP) program.

FLIGHT SCHOOL

NAA also offers an FAA Part 141 school for individuals who wish to become professional pilots. Students wishing to work for a regional or commercial airliner are ideal candidates for our pilot program. Students entering the program will learn through ground school, simulation and flight hours. Upon completion of the program students will possess 7 ratings with a minimum of 328 actual flight hours. This program is called the Professional Pilot Technology (PPT) program.
