Kavar County (Persian: شهرستان کوار) is a county in Fars Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Kavar. It was separated from Shiraz County in February 2011. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 72,423, in 15,570 families. The county has one city: Kavar. The county has one district (bakhsh): the Central District.
