Ron Davini
Ronald Lee Davini (born: May 5, 1947) was a catcher who is most notable for winning the 1967 College World Series Most Outstanding Player award while a junior at Arizona State University. He is one of five players from Arizona State University to win that award. The others are Sal Bando, John Dolinsek, Bob Horner and Stan Holmes. Prior to playing collegiately, he attended Anaheim High School.
He was also a Western Athletic Conference All-Star twice (in 1967 and 1968).
Draft
He was drafted four times by big league teams. The first time, he was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 20th round of the 1965 amateur draft. He refused that. In 1967, he was drafted in the third round by the New York Yankees. He refused that as well. In 1968, was drafted in the seventh round by the Cleveland Indians, but once again, he refused to sign. Finally, after being drafted by the White Sox again in the first round (20th overall) of the 1969 draft, he did sign. Although he played professionally for five years, he never made it to the majors.

Puro de Surales | I didn't know this existed ! Cane Juice Rum Review & Tasting
Today I’m tasting Puro de Surales, an unaged cane juice rum from Ecuador. I had no idea this rum existed and was completely surprised to find it out on the shelves. This rum is made by Remigio Cordero and his grandson Ismael in the small hamlet of Surales in Ecuador. The cane varietal used to make the puro is Cana Blanc. The canes are hand harvested and then crushed which extracts the cane juice inside. That juice is then wild fermented and then the wash is double distilled on a hand built pot still. And its bottled at 60.1% abv. Today I’m tasting Puro de Surales, an unaged cane juice rum from Ecuador. I had no idea this rum existed and was completely surprised to find it out on the shelves.
This rum is made by Remigio Cordero and his grandson Ismael in the small hamlet of Surales in Ecuador. The cane varietal used to make the puro is Cana Blanc. The canes are hand harvested and then crushed which extracts the cane juice inside. That juice is then wild fermented and then the wash is double distilled on a hand built pot still. And its bottled at 60.1% abv.

"Prigioniero In Un Mondo Gabbia" è la prima traccia pubblicata dai Nevermind The Fame con cui si sono aggiudicati il "premio popolare" del contest Play Music Stop Violence 2015.
La canzone è un grido di protesta che si muove contro la violenza, e in particolare contro le guerre di religione, ma il messaggio proposto non si limita solo a questo: chi grida "basta" non ha paura di chi semina il terrore e non si arrenderà d'innanzi a questi atti di violenza. L'umanità è una e una soltanto, non c'è spazio per discriminazioni di religione, di colore della pelle o di pensiero, e chi è a favore di un mondo di pace dove le guerre non saranno altro che un ricordo spera, crede che un giorno si riuscirà a mettere da parte l'egoismo e la presunzione per unirci tutti insieme sotto un'unica bandiera: quella della razza umana.

Ron Davini
Ronald Lee Davini (born: May 5, 1947) was a catcher who is most notable for winning the 1967 College World Series Most Outstanding Player award while a junior at Arizona State University. He is one of five players from Arizona State University to win that award. The others are Sal Bando, John Dolinsek, Bob Horner and Stan Holmes. Prior to playing collegiately, he attended Anaheim High School.
He was also a Western Athletic Conference All-Star twice (in 1967 and 1968).
Draft
He was drafted four times by big league teams. The first time, he was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 20th round of the 1965 amateur draft. He refused that. In 1967, he was drafted in the third round by the New York Yankees. He refused that as well. In 1968, was drafted in the seventh round by the Cleveland Indians, but once again, he refused to sign. Finally, after being drafted by the White Sox again in the first round (20th overall) of the 1969 draft, he did sign. Although he played professionally for five years, he never made it to the majors.
