Peter Gilray Schmuck (born September 8, 1955 in California) is an American sportswriter.
Peter Schmuck has been a reporter and sportscolumnist for the Baltimore Sun since 1990, and has been named Maryland Sportswriter of the Year five times by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. He primarily writes about baseball and is host of a weekend talk show on WBALAM 1090. He also serves as an occasional co-host on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network and writes a blog entitled "The Schmuck Stops Here" on the Baltimore Sun Web site.
