This was one of Ritchie Blackmore's earlier groups before finding fame in Deep Purple in 1968. This is a UK band called the Outlaws (not to be confused with the other US band of the same name). It includes Chas Hodges (usually plays the bass) on acoustic 12-string guitar, Ken Lundgren (usually plays rhythm guitar) on pedal steel, Mick Underwood on drums and Ritchie Blackmore on electric guitar. They were under the aegis of legendary UK producer Joe Meek - same guy who gave the world The Tornados, the band that gave us "Telstar".
This is a song called Law And Order written by Meek. Not a particularly big hit but it can stand tall alongside any Shadows, Eagles, Tornados or Ventures records. Released as a single in 1963 and the band can be seen playing and dancing to this tune on the movie Live It Up (a.k.a. Sing And Swing in the US). Live It Up has an incredible cast of Gene Vincent, Dave Clark and a very young Steve Marriott.
This track is remixed for stereo - no true stereo of this track is known to exist - so far. Enjoy!

Ritchie Blackmore
Richard Hugh "Ritchie" Blackmore (born 14 April 1945) is an English guitarist and songwriter, who began his career as a session musician as a member of the instrumental band The Outlaws and as a backing musician of pop singers such as Glenda Collins, Heinz, Screaming Lord Sutch and Neil Christian.
Blackmore became a founding member of Deep Purple in 1968, playing jam-style hard-rock music which mixed simple guitar riffs and organ sounds. During his solo career, he established a band called Rainbow which fused baroque music influences and elements of hard rock. Rainbow gradually progressed to catchy pop style hard rock. Later in life, he formed the traditional folk rock project Blackmore's Night transitioning to vocalist-centred sounds. Their latest album, All Our Yesterdays, was released on 18 September 2015.
Early life
Blackmore was born at Allendale Nursing Home in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset as second son to Lewis J. Blackmore and Violet (née Short). The family moved to Heston, Middlesex when Blackmore was two. He was 11 when he was given his first guitar by his father on certain conditions, including learning how to play properly, so he took classical guitar lessons for one year.

The Outlaw
The Outlaw is a 1943 American Western film, directed by Howard Hughes and starring Jane Russell. The supporting cast includes Jack Buetel, Thomas Mitchell, and Walter Huston. Hughes also produced the film, while Howard Hawks served as an uncredited co-director. The film is notable as Russell's breakthrough role, turning the young actress into a sex symbol and a Hollywood icon.
Plot
Sheriff Pat Garrett (Thomas Mitchell) welcomes his old friend Doc Holliday (Walter Huston) to Lincoln, New Mexico. Doc is looking for his stolen horse and finds it in the possession of Billy the Kid (Jack Buetel). Despite this, the two gunfighters take a liking to each other, much to Pat's disgust. This does not prevent Doc from trying to steal the horse back late that night, but Billy is waiting for him outside the barn.
After that, Billy decides to sleep in the barn, and is shot at. He overpowers his ambusher, who turns out to be curvaceous young Rio McDonald (Jane Russell), out to avenge her dead brother.

This was one of Ritchie Blackmore's earlier groups before finding fame in Deep Purple in 1968. This is a UK band called the Outlaws (not to be confused with the other US band of the same name). It includes Chas Hodges (usually plays the bass) on acoustic 12-string guitar, Ken Lundgren (usually plays rhythm guitar) on pedal steel, Mick Underwood on drums and Ritchie Blackmore on electric guitar. They were under the aegis of legendary UK producer Joe Meek - same guy who gave the world The Tornados, the band that gave us "Telstar".
This is a song called Law And Order written by Meek. Not a particularly big hit but it can stand tall alongside any Shadows, Eagles, Tornados or Ventures records. Released as a single in 1963 and the band can be seen playing and dancing to this tune on the movie Live It Up (a.k.a. Sing And Swing in the US). Live It Up has an incredible cast of Gene Vincent, Dave Clark and a very young Steve Marriott.
This track is remixed for stereo - no true stereo of this track is known to exist - so far. Enjoy!

This was one of Ritchie Blackmore's earlier groups before finding fame in Deep Purple in 1968. This is a UK band called the Outlaws (not to be confused with the other US band of the same name). It includes Chas Hodges (usually plays the bass) on acoustic 12-string guitar, Ken Lundgren (usually plays rhythm guitar) on pedal steel, Mick Underwood on drums and Ritchie Blackmore on electric guitar. They were under the aegis of legendary UK producer Joe Meek - same guy who gave the world The Tornados, the band that gave us "Telstar". This is a song called Law And Order written by Meek.
