Sadly the quality is a bit low, wasn't able to get it better for the moment.
When the british series The Avengers headed into the fourth season Diana Rigg as Emma Peel took up the role as John Steed's trusty partner.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054518/
This is from series 4 episode 1 "The Town of No Return" which aired 28 September 1965. John Steed is played by Patrick Macnee and the episode was directed by Roy Ward Baker and Peter Graham Scott.
Emma Peel got her name from the british film term M-appeal, something appealing to men. It was the producers idea that she would be the shows appeal to males, and they sure was right.
Sadly the first season of The Avengers seems to be all lost by the tv archives. Diana Rigg went on to be James Bond's wife Tracy Di Vicenzo. Her fellow Avengers Patrick Macnee and Honor Blackman also did roles in Bond-movies.

Diana Rigg talks to Sir Jeremy Isaacs - Face to Face - 1997
This is the full interview she did with Sir Jeremy. She talks of many things, The Avengers included, but also how she started and what she was up to at that point. She was rarely interviewed like this, too, from what I can gather.

Diana Rigg Tribute
Here is a song from 1971, performed by the lounge singer Shawn Robinson, chosen to enhance Diana Rigg's great beauty.
Diana Rigg, born Enid Diana Elizabeth Rigg in 1938, is an English actress. She is probably best known for her portrayals of Emma Peel in the British 1960's television series "The Avengers" and of Tracy Bond, James Bond's only wife, in the 1969 Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Her career in film, television and the theatre has been wide-ranging, including roles in the Royal Shakespeare Company between 1959 and 1964. Her professional debut was in The Caucasian Chalk Circle in 1955. In 1986, she took a leading role in the West End production of Stephen Sondheim's musical "Follies". In 1989, she played in "Mother Love" for the BBC. Her superb portrayal of an obsessive mother who was prepared to do anything to keep control of her son was enough to win Diana the 1989 BAFTA for best actress. In the 1990's she had triumphs with roles at the Almeida Theatre in Islington (North London), including "Medea" in 1993 (for which she received the Best Actress Tony Award), "Mother Courage" in 1995 and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" in 1996. On television she has appeared as "Mrs. Danvers" in "Rebecca" and as the amateur detective "Mrs. Bradley" in the "The Mrs. Bradley Mysteries".
From 1989 until 2003 she hosted the PBS television series "Mystery!", taking over from Vincent Price, her co-star from "Theatre of Blood". Her TV career in America has been varied; most famously she starred in her own comedy series "Diana". Diana Rigg continues to perform on stage in London. Although she does not consider herself a singer, her performances in "A Little Night Music", "Follies" and other stage musicals have been well received by audiences and critics alike. She performed a wonderful song and dance routine in the Agatha Christie film, "Evil Under the Sun", and made a highly memorable appearance with Morecambe and Wise in 1976, in which she played Nel Gwynne in a musical pastiche, singing "How Could You Believe Me When I Said I Loved You When You Know I've Been A Liar All My Life". Diana Rigg was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1988, and a Dame Commander in the Order in 1994. Patrick Macnee, her co-star in "The Avengers", described Diana Rigg in a July 2006 documentary on BBC 4 as "just like an angel coming down from heaven".
Enjoy Diana's great class and beauty!

Emma Peel (Diana Rigg) is Simply Irresistible
Emma Peel. Women want to be her and men want to be with her. With her wit, charm, great sense of style, and has all the right moves Emma Peel is "Simply Irresistible".
Here is my fourth "The Avengers" video. In this one it's a tribute for the lovely and best Avenger girl ever, Emma Peel. Me being a HUGE Avenger and Emma Peel fan myself I always wanted to make a tribute video for her and now I have. YAY!!! It shows quite a lot of lovely clips of her through out the show while she was in it from 1965-67. The clips are played along with the sexy 80s song (perfect for Mrs. Peel) "Simply Irresistible" sung by Robert Palmer. I hope you all will enjoy. Exspecially you gentlemen sitting out there. *winks* Enjoy. Chasity. (TheSSHG07.) :D

Hedda Gabler (Diana Rigg) Part 1
The beautiful yet callous Hedda Gabler (Diana Rigg) feels trapped by her stifling marriage. Consumed by her passions and threatened by those around her, she yearns to have power over someone else's destiny. When an ex-lover returns, Hedda uses her charms to manipulate and destroy him, leading to a tragic fate for herself and everyone she loves.
Based on a play by Henrik Ibsen.
The rest of the movie coming soon.

In the 1950s Britain emerged from the gloom of its post-war austerity and enjoyed an explosion of new, acting talent that was unique to this period of social upheaval. Gaining their experience through an established network of repertory theatres, RADA and the new National Theatre established by Sir Laurence Olivier at the Old Vic, many of those who would go on to become acting legends experienced their first exposure on stage and screen as part of the British Free Cinema movement.
Now available in its entirety on DVD, this critically acclaimed television series features intimate, Face to Face interviews with the generation who redefined the experience of theatre, cinema and television for the British public. Each interview showcases memorable films and archive of the artists, interspersed with intimate reflections on their careers.

The Golden Key Color 8mm Film - Diana Rigg The Avengers Emma Peel
This 8mm COLOR film was shot in the mid-1960's for the European home video market, such as it was in the day. It features Diana Rigg as a character much like Mrs. Emma Peel from "The Avengers."
