Richard Colvin Reid (born August 12, 1973), also known as the Shoe Bomber, is a self-admitted member of al-Qaeda who pled guilty in 2002 in U.S. federal court to eight criminal counts of terrorism stemming from his attempt to destroy a commercial aircraft in-flight by detonating explosives hidden in his shoes. He is currently serving a life sentence without parole in a super maximum security prison in the United States.

Reid was born a British citizen in Bromley, South London, to Leslie Hughes, who was of white English descent, and Colvin Robin Reid, whose father was a Jamaican immigrant of African descent. When Reid was born, his father, a career criminal, was in jail for stealing a car. Reid left school at age 16, becoming a petty crook who was in and out of jail himself, the first time for assaulting an elderly woman. He began writing graffiti under the name Enrol with FRF crew, and ultimately accumulated more than 10 convictions for crimes against persons and property, serving sentences at the Feltham Young Offenders Institution and at the Blundeston Prison. According to his father, Reid became depressed and blamed racism for some of his problems. His father advised him to convert to Islam, telling him that Muslims were more egalitarian and they got better food in prison. The next time Reid was incarcerated (in 1995 for petty theft), he converted.

Michael J. Wildes is an American immigration lawyer and senior partner of Wildes and Weinberg PC. He is a former Federal Prosecutor for the Eastern District of New York,, and a former Mayor of Englewood, New Jersey. He is recognized as an authority on Immigration Law, and has been referred to as the “Attorney to the stars,” on issues of immigration.

He served with the NYPD as an Auxiliary Police Officer from 1982-1992.

Wildes served with the United States Attorney's Office in Brooklyn from 1989-1993 and testified on Capitol Hill in connection with anti-terrorism legislation. He has represented several defectors who have provided difficult to obtain national security information to the United States.

He was appointed by the President of the United States to the District Appeals Board of the Selective Service System for the State of New Jersey and is a member of the Committee on Present Danger (where he serves with former CIA Director, James Woolsey and Senator Joseph Lieberman).

Wildes is now an adjunct professor at Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.

Lisa Wilkinson (born 19 December 1959 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian journalist and television presenter.

Wilkinson is currently a co-host of the Nine Network's breakfast television program Today.

Wilkinson began her career at a young age, working for the magazine Dolly. At age 21, she became the youngest ever editor of the magazine. After four years she was appointed editor of the magazine Cleo and went on to become International Editor-in-Chief.

Her television career began in the late 1990s when she was a regular panelist on Network Ten and Foxtel's Beauty and the Beast. During the 2000 Summer Olympics, she (along with Duncan Armstrong) co-hosted The Morning Shift on the Seven Network.

In April 2005, she began hosting Weekend Sunrise with Chris Reason, later with Andrew O'Keefe.

On 10 May 2007, it was confirmed that Wilkinson was to co-host Today on the Nine Network after Jessica Rowe left the network. Her last appearance on Weekend Sunrise was 6 May 2007, and she began appearing on Today on 28 May 2007.

Matthew Carlson is an American television producer and writer.

He is best known for his work on the series Malcolm in the Middle and The Wonder Years. He was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on the latter series.

Carlson's other television credits include Townies, God, the Devil and Bob, Camp Wilder (creating the aforementioned series), The Boys Are Back, Men Behaving Badly, Big Day, Samantha Who?, Sons of Tucson and currently Mr. Sunshine.

Carlson also wrote the screenplay for the 1994 film Wagons East! starring John Candy and Richard Lewis.

Michael Anthony Richards (born July 24, 1949) is an American actor, comedian, writer and television producer, best known for his portrayal of the eccentric Cosmo Kramer on the television sitcom Seinfeld. Throughout the show's run, he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series three times.

Richards began his career as a stand up comedian, first stepping into a national spotlight when he was featured on Billy Crystal's first cable TV special. He went on to become a series regular on ABC's Fridays. Prior to Seinfeld, he made numerous guest appearances on a variety of television shows including Cheers, Night Court, Miami Vice and St. Elsewhere. His film credits include So I Married an Axe Murderer, Airheads, Young Doctors in Love, Problem Child, Coneheads, UHF, and Trial and Error, one of his few starring roles. During the run of Seinfeld, he made a guest appearance in Mad About You. After Seinfeld, Richards starred in his own sitcom, The Michael Richards Show, which lasted less than one season.
