L'incursore è colui che singolarmente, o in piccoli gruppi, porta offesa al nemico in modo non convenzionale, cercando di produrre il maggior danno con il minimo sforzo. Se le azioni dei loro predecessori sono state rivolte quasi esclusivamente contro il naviglio britannico alla fonda in vari porti del Mediterraneo, oggi gli incursori della Marina Militare Italiana sono addestrati ed equipaggiati per affrontare missioni di diverso tipo, contro obiettivi sia navali che terrestri, sempre però di interesse marittimo. In alcune occasioni, come nelle recenti missioni in Somalia e Ruanda, i baschi verdi del Comsubin hanno compiuto azioni di ricognizione, scorta e recupero di personale civile in ambienti di tipo strettamente terrestre, per le quali erano richiesti la professionalità e l'addestramento di militari di carriera dal profilo particolare. Comsubin è l'acronimo di Comando Subacquei ed Incursori di stanza nel comprensorio del Varignano, in località Le Grazie nei pressi di La Spezia. Retto da un ammiraglio questo comando dipende direttamente dal capo di stato maggiore della Marina. "Stranger in Paradise" is a popular song from the 1953 musical Kismet and is credited to Robert Wright and George Forrest. Like all the music in that show, the melody was based on music composed by Alexander Borodin, in this case, the "Gliding Dance of the Maidens," from the Polovtsian Dances.
Richard Kiley and Doretta Morrow (Man of La Mancha and The King and I) performed the song in the original cast of Kismet. Vic Damone and Ann Blyth performed the song in the 1955 film.
Bing Crosby versions in 1953.
The most popular version was sung by Tony Bennett (1953), but other versions by The Four Aces and Tony Martin also received popular favor in 1954. Bennett's version reached number one in the UK Singles Chart in May 1955.[1] It was not until 1955 that Kismet, and thus the songs from the show, came to London. It was Bennett's debut hit record in the United Kingdom.
Keely Smith, Ray Conniff, Wes Montgomery, George Shearing, Curtis Counce, Isaac Hayes, Sun Ra, The Supremes (for their album I Hear A Symphony), Sarah Brightman, and Saint Etienne have also recorded cover versions of this standard.
The song was also featured in the video game Jikkyō Oshaberi Parodius for the PlayStation. Not only did it appear as background music in Parodius, it was also featured in Ape Escape 3 on the Saru-Mon's (Immobile) Castle stage.
In the 1999 film, Breakfast of Champions, based on the book of the same name by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., the song is used as a recurring motif.
It also appeared in an anime, Absolute Boy, as a ringtone.

About the project:
November, the 9th, 1999. The fall of the Berlin Wall set the seal on the end of the Iron Curtain, a fence some 7 thousand chilometres that split Europe in two spheres of influence. A division that lasted from the end of World War II to the end of the Cold War. How did the lives of those who grew up along this ideological and political border change? How did the dreams of the boys who jumped on the Wall to celebrate a regained freedom end up?
After twenty years from the historical date, four editorial staff - Peacereporter journalist agency, Matteo Scanni, movie director, Becco Giallo comic Editor and Prospekt Photojournalist agency - have decided to travel along the former Iron Curtain border and to tell what it was. Two teams provided by videocamera, photocamera, audio recorder and drawing paper have left from Berlin toward two directions: the first heads to the north has travelled along Germany, Polland, Estonia, Lithuania and Russia; while the second heads to the south has touched Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.
They come back to the headquarter with dozen of interviews to writers, politicians, musicians, sport people, photographers, dissidents and ordinary people. whose lives have changed after the Berlin Wall fallen down. These stories create a big fresco, a celebration of the ideals, but also speak about the collapse of the dreams of a new western lifestyle.
The project resultant is a surfing website, hightly interactive within 35 mini-movies with a variable duration from 2 to 10 minuts. Following the points of the path along a map of the old Europe, the user can discover the laps of the trip, read informations texts, listen to the original audio files from that time, share the lives of the persons who born under the curtain shadow. The narrative style is new, and merges video, photos, comics, animation, graphic and music.

Friday January 13rd : The Navy Inspection of the ship : The Costa Concordia carrying more than 3200 passengers and 1000 crew, hit a rock and sank in the shallow waters off the Italian island of Giglio. Concordia had just started the first leg of a seven-day cruise out of Rome's port of Civitavecchia.
