Nude Native People in Amazon Rain Forest- Documentary
http://www.actresslanka.com Before the beginning of European colonization of the New World in the 15th century, an estimated seven to ten million Amerindians lived in American rainforests, half of them in Brazil. Great cities existed in the Andes, while the Amazon supported agricultural societies. The arrival of Europeans brought about the end of the native civilizations in Central and South America. Europeans carried diseases that killed millions of Amerindians, and within 100 years of the arrival of these outsiders, the Amerindian population was reduced by 90 percent. Most of the surviving native people lived in the interior of the forest, either pushed there by the Europeans, or living traditionally in smaller groups.- published: 25 Oct 2012

Brasil Yanomami indigenous people life south America
Uncontacted people, also referred to as isolated people or lost tribes, are communities who live, or have lived, either by choice (people living in voluntary isolation) or by circumstance, without significant contact with globalized civilization. Few people have remained totally uncontacted by global civilization. Indigenous rights activists call for such groups to be left alone, stating that it will interfere with their right to self-determination. Most uncontacted communities are located in densely forested areas in South America and New Guinea. Knowledge of the existence of these groups comes mostly from infrequent and sometimes violent encounters with neighboring tribes, and from aerial footage. Isolated tribes may lack immunity to common diseases, which can kill a large percentage of their people after contac, The Korubo are more dangerous and hostile Indians of Amazonia, persecuted and massacred for centuries by the white man- published: 16 Jan 2014

Native America before European Colonization
Native America before European Colonization
Upon the arrival of Columbus in 1492 in the Carabean Islands, unknown to Columbus (and majority of the Eastern Hemisphere), he landed on Islands located in the middle of two huge continents now known has North America and South America that was teaming with huge Civilizations (that rivaled any in the world at that time) and thousands of smaller Nations and Tribes. With recent estimations, the population may have been over 100 million people that spanned from Alaska and Green Land, all the to the tip of southern South America. Conversations in Development: Indigenous Women in Latin America
Conversations in Development: Indigenous Women in Latin America
Across Latin America, indigenous communities are on frontlines of an ongoing battle, fighting to protect their culture and livelihoods from companies and governments hungry for land and resources. As guardians of the forest and preservers of indigenous culture, indigenous women play a key role in keeping their communities safe and thriving. Sara Omi, with the National Coordinating Body of Indigenous Peoples in Panama (COONAPIP), recently discussed the role of indigenous women with BurnessDigital's Miles Sedgwick at the 12th Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues at the United Nations in New York.- published: 30 Jan 2014
