Linda Darnell - What's In It For Me?!
This is another one of my favorite scenes from the movie Fallen Angel starring Linda Darnell and Dana Andrews. In this particular scene I love how Linda shows how smooth and dark her character is..making Dana Andrews' character like putty in her hands :) Hollywood just doesn't have talent like this anymore

Linda Darnell Visits The Record Hop
Here is a clip from the local Chicago dance show,Record Hop.Dont have a precise date, but is from around 1960.This segment features the beautiful but ill fated actress Linda Darnell. At the time this was filmed, she was considered to be pretty much washed up by Hollywood. But she sure doesnt look like it to me.Sadly, she would perish in a fire four or five years later, also in Chicago.

Murphy was a song-and-dance leading man in many big-budget Hollywood musicals from 1930 to 1952. He was the president of the Screen Actors Guild from 1944 to 1946, and was awarded an honorary Academy Award in 1951. Murphy served from 1965 to 1971 as US Senator from California, the first notable US actor to make the successful transition to politics, predating Ronald W. Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, of Irish Catholic extraction, the son of Michael Charles "Mike" Murphy, athletic trainer and coach, and the former Nora Long. He was educated at Peddie School, Trinity-Pawling School, and Yale University in his native New Haven.[1] He worked as a tool maker for the Ford Motor Company, as a miner, a real estate agent, and a night club dancer. In movies, Murphy was famous as a song-and-dance man, appearing in many big-budget musicals such as Broadway Melody of 1938, Broadway Melody of 1940 and For Me and My Gal. He made his movie debut shortly after talking pictures had replaced silent movies in 1930, and his career continued until he retired as an actor in 1952, at the age of 50. Linda Darnell - Girl With the Perfect Face!
Photographers and Camera-men loved Linda! The "perfect face" aspect came from the fact that she didn't have a "good or bad" side! She could be photographed side-ways, or upside down and it wouldn't matter! Her features were perfect from any angle! Here are just a few photo clips to convince those not yet aware of her beauty. In at least 2 films she starred with handsome Tyrone Power, also shown here.DISCLAIMER: All rights reserved to the production companies and music labels that distributed and produced the music and performance respectively. Linda Darnell - I Don't Have To Tell You A Thing
This is another short scene from the movie Fallen Angel starring Dana Andews and Linda Darnell. In this particular scene you see how Eric(Dana)starts to become more and more jealous and possessive of Stella(Linda Darnell) Stella almost pities him and throws him a bone of hope, but you can see it in her persona that she doesn't care if he follows through or not because she's got more than just one prospect besides Eric. A short but sweet scene! This film is part of the Fox Film Noir Collection and is available to purchase on DVD!
