Peter Kenyon (born 1954 in Stalybridge, Cheshire) is a British businessman who has served as the chief executive of English Premier League clubs Manchester United Football Club and Chelsea Football Club, where he has been involved in contentious transfer dealings.
Kenyon was educated in Tameside at West Hill School and The King's School, Macclesfield.
Kenyon was a director and chief executive of sportswear firm Umbro.
Kenyon took up the role of deputy chief executive at his boyhood team Manchester United in 1997, where he sat on the Board of Directors. He was promoted to chief executive in August 2000 following the departure of Martin Edwards. Kenyon was influential in persuading long-serving manager Alex Ferguson to remain at the club despite Ferguson's original intention to retire in 2002. One of the other notable aspects of Kenyon's time in charge was the fact that the club dismissed their rigid wage structure and spent large sums of money on players such as Juan Sebastian Veron and Rio Ferdinand. During his time in his role, the club actually became one of the most financially stable, while simultaneously expanding their global appeal.
Fuck is an obscene English language word, which refers to the act of sexual intercourse and is also commonly used as an intensifier or to denote disdain. Its origin is obscure but is usually considered to be first attested to around 1475, although it may be considerably older. In modern usage, the term fuck and its derivatives (such as fucker and fucking) can be used as a noun, a verb, an adjective, an interjection, or an adverb. There are many common phrases that employ the word, as well as compounds that incorporate it, such as motherfucker and fuckwit.
Manchester City Football Club is a football club in Manchester, England. Founded in 1880 as St. Mark's (West Gorton), they became Ardwick Association Football Club in 1887 and Manchester City in 1894. The club moved to the City of Manchester Stadium in 2003, having played at Maine Road since 1923.
The club's most successful period was in the late 1960s and early 1970s when they won the League Championship, FA Cup, League Cup and European Cup Winners' Cup under the management team of Joe Mercer and Malcolm Allison. After losing the 1981 FA Cup Final, the club went through a period of decline, culminating in relegation to the third tier of English football for the only time in their history in 1998.
Having regained Premier League status, the club was purchased in 2008 by Abu Dhabi United Group and has become one of the wealthiest in the world. In 2011, Manchester City qualified for the UEFA Champions League and won the FA Cup. The following year, they won the Premier League, their first league title for 44 years. In 2014, they won the League Cup and a second Premier League title.
Peter often is used to refer to Saint Peter, a disciple of Jesus Christ. It can also refer to many other people, of which only a few are listed here. This page only lists people commonly referred to as "Peter" and nothing else; for others, please see List of people named Peter.
Joseph Kevin Keegan, OBE (born 14 February 1951) is an English former football player and manager. He played for several clubs including Liverpool and Hamburger SV. He went on to manage Newcastle United, Fulham and Manchester City, winning promotion as champions in his first full season at all three clubs. He also managed the England national team.
As a player in the 1970s and 1980s, he has been described as "arguably the first superstar English player to attract the modern media spotlight". He began his playing career at Scunthorpe United in 1968, before moving to Liverpool in 1971. At Liverpool, Keegan won three First Division titles, the UEFA Cup twice, the FA Cup and the European Cup. He also gained his first England cap in 1972, and moved to German club Hamburg in the summer of 1977. At Hamburg he was named European Footballer of the Year in 1978 and 1979, won the Bundesliga title in 1978–79, and reached the European Cup final in 1980. Keegan moved to Southampton that summer, and spent two seasons at the club before a transfer to Newcastle United in the English second division in 1982. He helped Newcastle to promotion in his second season, and retired from football in 1984, having been capped 63 times for England, scoring 21 goals.

Austin Porter (Kenyon College) In 1942 the American artist Peter Blume painted “The Raft,” a disturbing picture of three suffering, skeletal men stranded in a life raft. Inspired by recent reports of American servicemen lost at sea during World War II, this nearly two and a half feet tall rendering of nautical misery is unique for several reasons. This paper addresses the complexities entwined with Blume’s painting of oceanic tragedy by exploring similar depictions of nautical suffering in American art and popular culture created before Allied victory was assured. This paper was presented at the conference, "In the Same Boat”: British and American Visual Culture During the Second World War, in the History of Art department at Yale University, May 8-9, 2015.
Since I was a kiddo
I was a leader
Heard life was a beach but
Man I wanna meet her
Swimmin deeper but the grim reaper will always creep up
No ice on my bed,So I never sleep up
Flow Bolt like Usain try n keep up
Way before waving flag in the FIFA
I was a dreamer life was a gamble
Born in a casino, but god never give burdens you can't handle
Music is my ammo i'm ready for battle
Hook:
When I lose right now I'm betting all my chips
When I'm broken down I be brushing off my kicks
I'ma get somehow yeah you CAN count on this
I'm only gettin better, better better better
I'm only gettin better, better better better
I would say that I've always been a winner but
I've probably always been a sinner
Two kids and a wife couldnt' give her
What she wanted so I had to break like the winter
Summer saw me fall coldplay when I shiver
Spring back up K'naan not a quitter
And success just sex tryna get her wetter
Failing is just an excuse for me to get better
Life means love
Love means pain
Lust is just a part of it
Charges to the game
Rolling in the deep, what's a nice jeep
If you can drop the top just to park it in the rain
[Hook]
Yeah
One time for my thugs over seas and
Two time for my brother big league and
Three for yourself if you know to grow up
Is never giving up on your dreams and
Roll the dice life is a breeze
[Hook]
One time for my thugs over seas and
Two time for my brother big league and
Three for yourself if you know to grow up
Is never giving up on your dreams and
