Greg Inglis (born 15 January 1987 in Kempsey, New South Wales) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the South Sydney Rabbitohs of the NRL. A Queensland State of Origin and Australian international representative outside back, he previously played for the Melbourne Storm, with whom he won two grand finals, a Clive Churchill Medal and a Golden Boot Award.

Inglis is a versatile back, having played in several positions during his career. He originally played on the wing or in the centres. He even played at fullback when Billy Slater was unavailable. Between 2007 and early 2009 he played at five-eighth for the Melbourne Storm before he switched to centre when Brett Finch arrived at the Storm, where he played for the remainder of his time at the club until the end of 2010. Inglis' representative matches for Queensland and Australia have been as a winger or centre. In November 2009, Inglis won the Golden Boot Award as the world's best player – presented to him by Rugby League World magazine, becoming the third consecutive Storm player to win it, after Cameron Smith (2007) and Billy Slater (2008). His cousins are Albert Kelly of the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks,Beau Champion of the Gold Coast Titans and former player Preston Campbell.

Robert Durden "Bob" Inglis, Sr. (born October 11, 1959) is a former U.S. Representative for South Carolina's 4th congressional district, serving from 1993 to 1999, and then again from 2005 until 2011. He is a member of the Republican Party. The district includes much of the Upstate region, including Greenville and Spartanburg. Inglis was defeated in the Republican primary in June 2010. He is organizing a conservative coalition to advance new energy solutions at a soon to be launched entity.

Inglis was born in Savannah, Georgia, the son of Helen Louise (née McCullough) and Allick Wyllie Inglis, Jr. He grew up in Bluffton, South Carolina near Hilton Head Island. He earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. Upon his graduation from law school, he worked for a number of years as a lawyer in private practice.

Inglis made his first run for elected office when he won the Republican nomination for the 4th District. In the general election, he defeated three-term incumbent Democrat Liz J. Patterson. Although the 4th had been trending Republican for some time, Patterson had deep family ties in the district (she is the daughter of former Senator Olin Johnston), and she had won her first two terms under unfriendly conditions for Democrats.

Doris Duke (November 22, 1912 – October 28, 1993) was an American heiress, horticulturalist, art collector, and philanthropist.

Daughter of an immensely rich tobacco tycoon, Duke was able to fund a life of global travel and wide-ranging interests. These extended across journalism, competition surfing, jazz piano, wildlife conservation, Oriental art and Hare Krishna.

Much of her work centered on her father's estate at Hillsborough Township, New Jersey, where she created many elaborately-themed gardens, furnished with artifacts acquired on her world travels, including one of America's largest indoor botanical displays. She was also active in preserving more than eighty historic buildings in Newport, Rhode Island.

Twice married and divorced, Duke enjoyed a colourful private life that was seldom out of the gossip-columns.

Her philanthropic work continued into her old age, some of it unknown to the public during her lifetime, and her estimated $1.3 billion fortune was largely left to charity. After much legal challenging of the executors and trustees, Duke's legacy is now administered by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, dedicated to medical research, prevention of cruelty to children and animals, the performing arts, wildlife and ecology.
