Idaho (i/ˈaɪdəhoʊ/) is a state in the northwestern region of the United States. Idaho is the 14th largest, the 39th most populous, and the 7th least densely populated of the 50 United States. The state's largest city and capital is Boise. Residents are called "Idahoans". Idaho was admitted to the Union on July 3, 1890, as the 43rd state.
Idaho is a mountainous state with an area larger than that of all of New England. It borders the US states of Montana to the northeast, Wyoming to the east, Nevada and Utah to the south, and Washington and Oregon to the west. To the north, it shares a 45 mi (72 km) international border with the Canadian province of British Columbia, the shortest such land border of any state. The network of dams and locks on the Columbia River and Snake River make the city of Lewiston the farthest inland seaport on the Pacific coast of the contiguous United States.
Idaho's nickname is the "Gem State", because nearly every known type of gemstone has been found there. In addition, Idaho is one of only two places in the world where star garnets can be found in any significant quantities, the other being India. Idaho is sometimes called the "Potato State" owing to its popular and widely distributed crop. The state motto is Esto Perpetua (Latin for "Let it be forever" or "Let it endure forever").
Ashton is a city in Fremont County, Idaho, United States. The population was 1,127 at the 2010 census, and it is part of the Rexburg Micropolitan Statistical Area. The district is noted for seed potato production and bills itself as the world's largest seed potato growing area.
In 1900, the Union Pacific Railroad, under the careful watch of the OSL (Oregon Short Line) and St. Anthony Railroad Company, brought the railroad into the Upper Snake River Valley from Idaho Falls to St. Anthony, Idaho, 14 miles (23 km) southwest of what became Ashton, Idaho. The venture had considerable local support and official support from the LDS Church. Following successful construction and operation of the St. Anthony Railroad, Union Pacific, under the careful watch of the OSL and the Yellowstone Park Railroad Company, began plans for another railroad from St. Anthony to the Madison River entrance of Yellowstone National Park or to what is now known as West Yellowstone. For years, Union Pacific wanted improved rail access to Yellowstone’s geyser basins and now to Old Faithful Inn, that opened in 1904. Old Faithful Inn was only 30 miles (48 km) from the Madison River entrance, nearly half the distance from the Northern Entrance at Gardiner, Montana that was served by the Northern Pacific Railroad. The planned route for the new railroad was through Marysville, up Warm River Canyon into the forested Island Park country, and on over the Continental Divide at Rea’s Pass into what became West Yellowstone, Montana.
Fall River is a city in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. Fall River's population was 88,857 at the 2010 census, making it the tenth-largest city in the state.
Located along the eastern shore of Mount Hope Bay at the mouth of the Taunton River, the city became famous during the 19th century as the leading textile manufacturing center in the United States. While the textile industry has long since moved on, its impact on the city's culture and landscape remains to this day. Fall River's official motto is "We'll Try," dating back to the aftermath of the Great Fire of 1843. It is also nicknamed "the Scholarship City" because Dr. Irving Fradkin founded Dollars for Scholars here in 1958.
Fall River is known for the Lizzie Borden case, Portuguese culture, its numerous 19th-century textile mills and Battleship Cove, the world's largest collection of World War II naval vessels and the home of the USS Massachusetts (BB-59). Fall River is also the only city in the United States to have its city hall located over an interstate highway.

Still heading South on highway 20 to Ashton where we hang a left and go East on highway 47 for a few miles, then turn right and go back South on highway 32. This is a back road, something like a farm road. It is paved, but skinny with great scenery. The beeping is my radar detector...a Belltronics 955 and it has been the best detector I have ever had. This thing has picked up a radar signal as far away as 10 miles and it has a different sound for whatever radar signal is being used as well as display the type...like "K", "X", "POP", "LASER"...etc.

Feeding the fish at Warm River never gets old. I cant tell you how many times my family and I go here. But it never gets old. There is something spectacular about the simplicity of feeding fish. My Daughters love to throw food into the water and laugh and awe over the fish, while I try and get shots of the monsters in here. Take some time out of your day and go have some fun up here. This is it folks, the video of all videos showing you some of my favorite activities to do in and around Boise, Idaho. I made this video while campaigning to become Jauntaroo's Chief World Explorer. It was good enough to get me into the CWE Top 50 but not quite good enough to send me to Abu Dhabi. Oh well. It is always fun showing off your hometown and the makings of this video were no exception. Travel video about destination Shoshone Falls. Around five miles east of the town of Twin Falls in the U.S. State of Idaho, a spectacular and fascinating natural phenomenon attracts much attention. Shoshone Falls is one of the most visited attractions of the region and is also very well known way beyond Idaho, its waters plunging sixty five metres down into the depths below, a truly breathtaking sight. The waters of Shoshone Falls are supplied by Snake River, one of the longest and most important tributaries of the legendary Columbia Rivers. The source of Snake River, whose name was created by the Shoshone Indians, lies at the continental watershed of North America namely, the Yellowstone National Park. Man’s visible encroachment on the falls has been few and far between. Even the hydro...

Welcome to Copenhagen, Denmark! This stunning place is also called “The City of Spires,” and after arriving here, you’ll see why. A tour of Copenhagen reveals cobblestone streets, beautiful canals, and many 16th and 17th-century buildings crowned by the aforementioned spires. Don’t let the archaic exterior of these buildings fool you; they house very modern restaurants, theaters, and shops, and you can easily spend days sampling seafood and coffees at the various eateries. One of Copenhagen’s most beloved attractions is Tivoli Gardens, a theme park that dates back to 1843. Watch a pantomime, ride one of the oldest roller coasters, or just enjoy a trip in a dragon boat. After a few hours at Tivoli Gardens, continue your Copenhagen sightseeing in the city proper. Copenhagen is like someth...
