The Church of Laodicea has long been regarded as representative of that church living during our current generation. It is a church age defined by apathy, lack of understanding, and vision. Our Lord calls us lukewarm and tells us He can't stand the taste of us. Such simply means our normal spiritual condition keeps us from abiding in Him. Jesus Christ warned those of his church who were in Laodicea for their lack of enthusiasm in his work. read here the rather harsh language he used as a warning to them.. "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot. An Albuquerque church was the scene of a violent stabbing; according to CNS News. Witnesses say that Lawrence Capener walked up to the front of the church and began stabbing people.
