Online motorsports editor Mike Pryson says he's been "supes depressed about it" since he found out, saying "if these two kids can't make it, what hope is there for Danica and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr." As of now, IndyCar is still planning to hold races in 2013, but of course that could change due to the divorce. Check it all out at www.autoweek.com Mercedes-Benz has released their Super Bowl ad and Kate Upton is in it, for five seconds. As required by law, we're mentioning it here. The carwash scene we showed you last week has been tossed in favor of a narrative where a nerdy guy contemplates signing away his soul to the devil, played by Antichrist star Willem Dafoe, for a Mercedes-Benz CLA. Now, the CLA is a very pretty car, but if Mercedes' past efforts at building entry-level cars have taught us anything, it's that there's no need to ...

He called for a bold plan to fund repair and renovation projects for the nation's roads and bridges. In particular, LaHood says small construction businesses would benefit from a robust transportation bill. Ray LaHood Warns Sequester Will Cause Air Travel Delays
Outgoing Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood has a frightening message: Air travel could get worse. The Obama Cabinet member and former Republican congressman made a surprise appearance at Friday's White House press briefing to warn that the looming automatic budget cuts set to go into effect on March 1 could lead to even longer air travel delays. "Travelers should expect delays of up to 90 minutes at peak airports during sequester," starting on April 1, LaHood said. "It's going to be very painful for the flying public." The sequester's across-the-board budget cuts will slash $600 million from the Federal Aviation Administration, which will in turn have to furlough air traffic controllers. More than 100 air traffic control towers will be shuttered, LaHood said. He said airlines would accomodate the cuts by providing less service. "We expect that they will change their schedules and cancel flights," he said.
