It is the duty of every animal lover, all that believe in justice and everyone who has faith in the system to share this video. On September 2016 Marc Ching appeared at a US congressional hearing and showed some horrific video footage of his undercover missions to expose dog torture in Asia. The video supported Ching’s controversial claim that dogs are not just killed for food in Asia but sadistically tortured first in the belief it makes their meat taste better. The shocking presentation went viral on social media and cemented Marc Ching’s reputation as a fearless animal welfare hero! One appalling clip showed a dog being hanged and slowly burned to death with a blow torch. It was filmed earlier that year by Ching in Tomohon, Indonesia. Ching earned a standing ovation after tearfully asking his audience: ‘How can you do that to an animal?’ Ching’s presentation and his undercover missions had earned his foundation millions of dollars in donations and the support of Hollywood stars including Matt Damon and Lady Gaga. But do Asians really routinely torture dogs in this way? And did Ching – who in a few brief trips to Asia captured scenes of torture no one else had witnessed – really get this footage by going undercover as a dog meat trader, as he claimed? We discovered some disturbing truths about the dog burning video and other killings filmed by Ching in Indonesia and Cambodia. The two butchers involved in the Tomohon killing have given sworn testimony saying they have never killed a dog in that way before or since.   Instead, they routinely kill dogs quickly but brutally by beating them on the head with a wooden club. Their hair is removed with a blow-torch only after they are dead.  In their sworn statements, the butchers say they burned the dog alive because Marc Ching paid them to do it while he filmed.   Ching’s own unedited video of the incident appears to support their testimony. Butcher is shocked.) The butchers testify that Marc Ching paid them to hang ANOTHER dog to death while he filmed it. Ching later used images from the hanging in one of his celebrity appeals. Here are extracts of the sworn statements given by the two butchers featured in the video:   CHARKY ARAY (Fat butcher with blow-torch)   “On April 16th 2016, a foreigner I now know to be Marc Ching came to the market … He said he wanted to buy three dogs and to make a video of a dog being hanged and burned alive. At first we refused because we never kill dogs this way but the foreigner said he would pay more for if we did it in this way.”   “I felt very bad about what I did. I have never killed a dog in this way before or since. I only did it because I was told to and we were being paid.”   MARTEN WONDAL (Boss who gives thumbs-up)   “In the video, I give a thumbs-up sign to Ching to check if he is happy that we are killing the dog the way he wants us to. “I have never killed a dog in this way before or since and no butcher in Tomohon would kill a dog this way normally. We did it because he was paying a good price and it was good business.” The dog hanged and killed with a blow torch in Tomohon took nearly two minutes to die in unspeakable agony.   The butchers say it died in a much crueler way and in far greater pain than it would have done otherwise for one reason only: Because Marc Ching paid for it to die that way.   If what the butchers say is true, we have one crucial question for Marc Ching to answer ...   How can you do that to an animal?
