15 year old me would have listened to nothing except this for 3 weeks solid. Now there’s boring grown up things to do but this is ace and so it’s still being played quite a bit.
It’s brilliant because it contradicts itself. Just under 3 minutes of almost snotty but charming vocal almost baggy/shoegaze/drone straight-up/hard to pin-down guitar pop (not)noise stuff. Had the word ‘funk’ not existed I’d use it for a new fun-punk category…..

Yuksek launches a new label – Partyfine – on May 13th which is very exciting. Like a one-man Tom & Barbara from ‘The Good Life’ he’s going totally self sufficient; recording, mixing, mastering and distributing will all happen from his own studio in Reim, France.
