The Rolling Stones - Crossfire Hurricane (Trailer)
Blu-ray: smarturl.it DVD: smarturl.it "Crossfire Hurricane", directed by Brett Morgen, is released as part of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations of The Rolling Stones. This superb new film tells the story of the Stones' unparalleled journey from blues obsessed teenagers in the early sixties to their undisputed status as rock royalty. All of The Rolling Stones have been newly interviewed and their words form the narrative arc that links together archive footage of performances, news coverage and interviews, much of it previously unseen. Taking its title from a lyric in "Jumpin' Jack Flash", "Crossfire Hurricane" gives the viewer an intimate insight into exactly what it's like to be part of The Rolling Stones as they overcome denunciation, drugs, dissensions and death to become the definitive survivors. Over a year in the making and produced with the full co-operation and involvement of The Rolling Stones, "Crossfire Hurricane" is and will remain the definitive story of the world's greatest rock 'n' roll band.

Rolling Stones - Under My Thumb
\ In the early 1950s Keith Richards and Mick Jagger were boyhood friends and classmates at Wentworth Primary School in Dartford, Kent until their families moved apart. In 1960 when Richards, on his way to class at Sidcup Art College, and Jagger, on his way to class at London School of Economics, met at Dartford train station, the Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters records Jagger carried revealed a mutual interest leading to the re-establishment of their friendship and the formation of a band with Dick Taylor (later of Pretty Things). Richards, Taylor and Jagger found Brian Jones as he sat in playing slide guitar with Alexis Korner's seminal London R&B; band, Blues Incorporated. Blues Incorporated contained two other future members of the Rolling Stones: Ian Stewart and Charlie Watts. Stewart found a practice space and joined with Jones to start a R&B; band playing Chicago Blues. Besides Stewart, Jones and Jagger, the first rehearsal of the as-yet-unnamed band also included Richards attending at Jagger's behest. Other participants were guitarist Geoff Bradford and vocalist Brian Knight, who objected to the rock 'n roll material Jagger and Richards played and wanted no part of forming a band with them. In June 1962 the line-up was: Jagger, Richards, Stewart, Jones, Taylor, and drummer Tony Chapman. According to Richards, Jones christened the band during a phone call to Jazz News. When asked for a band name Jones saw a Muddy Waters LP lying on the floor of which one of the tracks ...

The Rolling Stones & Bill Wyman - Honky Tonk Women - The O2 Arena - Live in London - Nov 25 2012
Palpable excitement was rewarded by still more palpable excitement, as The Rolling Stones took to the stage in London on November 25 2012, even among the back rows of the vertiginous Level 4 of the O2 Arena. As the Sheffield couple, on my right, declared with infectious optimism: "These are great seats! You can see everything!" I had dreaded these seats, as I love standing in the first few rows of a concert, but the standing area, and indeed the entire floor and Level 1 were beyond my price bracket, yet I wanted to see The Rolling Stones badly. Some songs I rocked out to, other songs I recorded, but every song was a treat! The Rolling Stones really are one of the most exciting bands in the world, even from Level 4, and age has not withered them! I hope standing is more affordable when the Stones tour next year, and maybe I can get closer, lol! Here are The Rolling Stones, rejoined by Bill Wyman, for "Honky Tonk Women," released as a single in 1969! This was the second song that Bill Wyman played with the Stones on the night. :) Find The Rolling Stones here: rollingstones.com (Artist reserves all rights, no copyright infringement intended).

Here is the very first song of the concert, "I Wanna Be Your Man," written by Lennon and McCartney, and recorded by The Rolling Stones in 1963! Touchingly, Sheffield Lady relayed the appearance of the Stones on stage to her daughter at home by telephone. It was exciting! :) Find The Rolling Stones here: rollingstones.com (Artist reserves all rights, no copyright infringement intended).

F9 is a good choice ! The song was recorded by the group in September of 1965 at RCA Studios in Hollywood. "She Said Yeah" was written by Sonny Bono and west coast rockabilly performer Roddy Jackson, and had been a single for Larry Williams in the late 1950s.

the rolling stones - 19th nervous breakdown - "live" tv show - enhanced stereo
The Stones on the Australian TV show "Bandstand", Sydney, 17 februari, 1966. The performance was all playback, so I took one of the various stereo versions* of "19th nervous", did a lot of editing and added it to the clip. Enjoy! Note Brian Jones performing his excellent guitar job... he gave the song its 'sound'... No sounds were added to the song. And it is purely Brian you hear on the left channel! "Bandstand" was an Australian musical/variety television show which screened from november 1958 to 1972. It was produced at the studios of TCN-9 in Sydney and eventually became a national program as Nine Network expanded into other Australian cities in the early 1960s. "Bandstand" was created by Nine executive Bruce Gyngell, who based it on the American show of a similar name, "American Bandstand". The host for virtually the entire run of the series was Brian Henderson, who was also the chief newsreader for TCN-9 in Sydney. Recording date: December 3 - 8 1965. First Release: single, February 4, 1966. Album "Big hits (high tide and green grass)", US april 2 1966, UK November 4 1966. Lead Vocal: Mick Jagger. Electric guitar & background vocal: Keith Richards. Electric guitar & saxophone ***: Brian Jones. Bass: Bill Wyman. Drums: Charlie Watts. 19TH NERVOUS BREAKDOWN (Jagger/Richards) You're the kind of person You meet at certain dismal dull affairs. Center of a crowd, talking much too loud Running up and down the stairs. Well, it seems to me that you have seen too much in too ...

Edit 26/09/10 : Sound re-mixed. Should be better.
Pete is a nice and clumsy salesman. But he's also a deadly super secret agent with a microprocessor implanted into his brain by some mad scientists from the government ! He has to secretly stop a bunch of badguys who stole a magic stone that can change anything into seafood !
