The Minister of Conservation is a cabinet minister in the province of Manitoba, Canada. It was created in 1999, by a merged of the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Natural Resources.

The current Conservation Minister of Manitoba is Bill Blaikie.

Eugenie Sage is a New Zealand politician and environmentalist. Since the 2011 election, she is representing the Green Party in Parliament.

Sage was a field officer and spokesperson for Forest and Bird before being elected as councillor for the Selwyn-Banks Peninsula Regional Constituency of Environment Canterbury at the 2007 elections. She lost her seat when the Environment Canterbury Council were replaced by Commissioners on 1 May 2010.

In October 2010 she was appointed as a community member to the Selwyn-Waihora Zone Water Management Committee of Canterbury Water Management Strategy (CWMS).

She was ranked at number six as a Green Party candidate for the 2011 general election. With the Green Party returning 13 list members according to preliminary results, Sage was elected to Parliament.

Russel William Norman (born 1967) is a New Zealand politician and environmentalist. He is a Member of Parliament and co-leader of the Green Party alongside Metiria Turei.

Norman was born in Brisbane, Australia, and moved to New Zealand in 1997 to observe the red-green Alliance coalition. He wrote his political science PhD thesis on the Alliance, and was active within the party editing its party newsletter. Whilst living in Australia, Norman was involved with the Socialist Workers' Party for several years.

In New Zealand Norman became involved in organic farming, and was active in the Auckland branch of the Green Party. Later, he worked as an assistant to Green MPs Sue Kedgley, Nandor Tanczos and Keith Locke. He was a researcher for the party from 2002 to 2004 and was the national campaign manager prior to the 2005 election and the national Party Development Co-ordinator afterwards. Following the death of Rod Donald, Norman put his name forward as a contender for the male co-leader position. He won the position on 3 June 2006 at the annual meeting, beating Tanczos, David Clendon and former MP Mike Ward in a STV vote by delegates from electorates around the country.

Dr Nitin Raut is the present Cabinet Minister of Animal Husbandry in the Government of Maharashtra in India. He is leader from the Indian National Congress Party.

He is elected as member of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Nagpur North constituency , in Nagpur district in October 2009.

He was also MLA from Nagpur North during 2004 and 1999 elections.

Ruth Suzanne Dyson (born 11 August 1957) is a New Zealand politician. She is a member of the Labour Party and has been a Member of Parliament since 1993.

Dyson was born in Lower Hutt. Her father served in the New Zealand Army, and so Dyson's family frequently moved around the country. Dyson joined the Labour Party in Westport in 1979, and worked as a campaign organiser for Labour MP Kerry Burke in the 1981 and 1984 elections. In 1985, she moved to Wellington, where she worked with Labour MP Fran Wilde on the Homosexual Law Reform Bill. She worked for Wilde's re-election campaign in the 1987 elections, and later held a number of senior offices in the Labour Party, including that of president.

Dyson first entered Parliament in the 1993 election, winning the Lyttelton electorate. In the 1996 election, the Lyttelton electorate was abolished, and Dyson stood in Banks Peninsula, losing to National's David Carter. She became a list MP owing to her position on the Labour Party's list. In the 1999 election, however, she defeated Carter to win Banks Peninsula. She has remained the MP for the area since that time; however before the 2008 election the boundaries were changed and it was renamed Port Hills.
