After a protracted period of plea and explanations from the side of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Funke Osibodu-led 'MISmanagement' team have refused to recognize the Association of Senior Staff of Banks, Insurance, and other Financial Institutions (ASSBIFI); the 'tyrant madam' has also refused to recall the hundreds sacked and victimized arbitrarily since she was appointed by Mr. Sanusi, the Central Bank Governor a few years ago. She and her team were supposed to turn around the fortune of the bank following revelations that it was mismanaged by their predecessors. Lo and behold, she has turned the bank into a haven for unprecedented tyranny, subjugation of worker's right to join unions, and has committed a host of of other atrocities. Funke has reduced staff wages but increased hers and her acolytes. Enough is enough; an injury to one is an injury to all! We must all - irrespective of our trades or businesses, join hands to force this tyrant out and restore the past glory of Union Bank.

Sun images from NASA's SOHO probe. For May 2010 this shows the LASCO C2 images. These images where downloaded from SOHO site and compiled into a video. LASCO (Large Angle Spectrometric Coronagraph) is able to take images of the solar corona by blocking the light coming directly from the Sun with an occulter disk C2 images show the inner solar corona up to 8.4 million kilometers (5.25 million miles) away from the Sun. You can see at least 3 CMEs for May.

STRONG SOLAR ACTIVITY: For the third day in a row, active sunspot 1261 has unleashed a significant M-class solar flare. The latest blast at 0357 UT on August 4th registered M9.3 on the Richter Scale of Flares, almost crossing the threshold into X-territory (X-flares are the most powerful kind). The number of energetic protons around Earth has jumped nearly 100-fold as a result of this event. The eruption propelled a bright coronal mass ejection (CME) toward Earth. Click on the image to view a movie of the expanding cloud recorded by the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory: Note: The many speckles in this movie are caused by energetic solar protons hitting the camera. Moving at an estimated speed of 1950 km/s, this CME is expected to sweep up two earlier CMEs already en route. Analysts at the GSFC Space Weather Lab say the combined cloud should reach Earth on August 5th at 13:55 UT plus or minus 7 hours: "The impact on Earth is likely to be major. The estimated maximum geomagnetic activity index level Kp is 7 (Kp ranges from 0 - 9). The flanks of the CME may also impact STEREO A, Mars and Mercury/MESSENGER." You might even think it looks like a UFO. You are not alone. People often mistake objects like this as flying saucers but it is in fact the planet venus. The time and direction of planets moving through C3's view (called a transit) are well known and calculations of past and future transits can be found on the (http website devoted to comets observed by LASCO especially (en.wikipedia.org ) sungrazers.
