We get to the hospital at like 3 am, and they put us in a closet size room because they said they had to get a room ready. While we're waiting, they irritatingly ask us 3 times would we like a cesection without giving us a good reason to consider it(more money 4 their greedy pockets). 2 hours later they take us to a dirty room that I had to clean up and sit the trash outside the room. At this time they tell us its gonna be a 3 hour wait on the epideral shot so they start hooking her up to a (2 or 3)oxycotton I.V. drips and giving her percs and 3 other drugs(stomachpain,waterbreaker,etc.). At thispoint Im starting to notice that my girl is talking real-real fast, and its funny to me and my mom, not knowing that nurses are writing down "she seems excited" an hour later her labor pains get incredible( still had a 2hour wait on epideral) They then ask me can a student come in the room, I said ok, next thing I know they brought 30 students in the room( The largest free peep show in history). My son came out, but he didnt breathe right away, and they were having trouble getting through the students to get my son on the table so they could get him breathing,,, eventually they did, and he was ok.... I left that day with my mom and told my girl id be back tommorow..... When I came back the next day, a Social Worker who worked for Metro, pulled me out the room and told me, " they got yo girl high on drugs and now they writing down that she's excited" I then went to the nurse desk and requested that they only give motrins from here out, they did, and she came down from her high, but o did i not know, the fix, was in. So 2hours later, a doctor comes in, ask some questions of my girl, he says everything seems fine, then he leaves,,,1 hour later another doctor comes in, ask the same kinds of psych questions, and again says nothing seems wrong to him and leaves, this repeats two more times until the final time when they come in all together plus 10 more people, all with clip boards(like their studying the mother of the antichrist) The 1rst question they asked my girl, out of nowhere was " Do you feel like hurting yourself or any of us in the room", thats when I said "I do" but Id settle for yaw getting the hell out of our room, and letting my girl who just had a painful labor, rest. (With 1 question, they reduce the love of my life, to a space monkey, with no cause, in front of me, and my 1rst child) How much more insulting can it get???, Well hang on, there's more!!! So as they were leaving the room, they just happen to run into a soc.worker who had heard me telling them to get out. (she was originally there to see someone else). The very first thing they tell her is a lie. They said " we werent feeding the baby at the right times, when she approached me with what they said, I showed her where the nurses had been instructing us to feed different than what she was told. She then left the room, she then came back and told me they were wrong,and we were right, but since I was visibly upset, that I couldnt take my son home unless I called another family member to leave with us(the fix was in). We ended up getting the latest discharge in history,11pm.!!! She also demanded that she meet us at the house (at midnight !)when we got there (tryna catch us without proper items, but I had it all-no baby shower,thankyou!) We then had to have another safety meeting the next day(Making us bring a 1 ! day ! old! baby ! out in a thunderstorm ! and my son caught a cold, I had to get him some liquid tylonel)) where I stated in a meeting that I was not interesting in longterm supervision, because of baseless hypetheticals imagined in the minds of evil. And If time bore out my stated opinion of having no concern, then I wanted to be a free citizen again. They agreed , but somehow, to this day, 2 months later, they wont allow us to refuse services.(they need a reason to have a job, so they been coming once a month to try to get me to too pick from there raffle bag of services, but I keep refusing, and somehow,someway, Im gonna refuse them) Rewind, 1 week after my sons birth, he had his first follow up appt. with metro, when i got in the doctors office, the doctor tells me Its strange to her that a man would take his child to a doctors appt.(Like shes never seen it before).At that moment, I really thought I was in Bizzaro world. (Jerry Seinfeld) The Hospital had the audacity to call this Social worker and repeat the stereotype to her, she then called me and told me they were violating my rights, but she did nothing to defend us, just like when she met us, and made a plan for us, out of the air, based off an uninvestigated lie ( with protective services like that, who needs parents ? ).These people are Evil, and their lack of compassion allowed me to coin a new phrase, " Post Partum Protection " They owe me an apology for making the best day of my life, also the worst day of my life! Im waiting! Do not,,,I repeat, Do not have a baby there!!!
