Finally!
I started this video 11 months ago (specifically on May 25th 2015) and finally I finished it.. *phew*
To be honest it hasn't turned out as amazing as I'd hoped, but overall I'm pretty satisfied (especially considering that this project has been driving me MAD for the past few months).
So, yeah.. the first half(-ish) of the video is Sigyn, AFTER Loki as fallen from the Bifrost, with a bunch of flashbacks (showing events prior to and during the first Thor film). From around the middle of the video it all becomes present time; from after Loki's fall, into the events of The Avengers and up until Loki's “death” in Thor: The Dark World). All flashbacks have slightly blurry and black/white edges, so hopefully it's not too confusing.. oh, and in case you hadn't guessed; the song is supposed to be from Sigyn's point of view.
Aaaand as there's a vast amount of dialogue in the video (I think I've even outdone my “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”-video which held the record) here's a transcript:

I don't know if you think it's corny – or maybe even that it was just a mistake – but I quite like the sense of coming “full circle” by using the same quote at the beginning and at the end..

Asdfghjkl, I love these two so much, both in the Norse mythology and the comics. They are just perfect.
I really hope that Marvel cast Sigyn in any of the future movies with Loki, because that would just be ah-mazing!
Claire Holt as Sigyn was inspired by Jules Pierce. I love Vampire Diaries even if I don't vid it, but I didn't see Rebekah as Sigyn before I saw these amazing videos, but now I think she's perfect, so thank you for that!

I'm not completely satisfied with the result of this video to be honest, but I hope it's decent enough to watch haha. I'll probably make more Loki/Sigyn videos in the future! :)
I hope the storyline is clear, it's basically about how Sigyn stays loyal to her husband no matter what, and that Loki loves her deep inside. If you wonder anything just ask! :)

Loki and Sigyn
Song: Say Something by A Great Big World
Story:
Thor is on the helicarrier, telling the Avengers about Loki when Captain America asks what happened to drive Loki crazy. Thor begins to remember and tells them.
Sigyn, a noble girl from Vanaheim, traveled to Asgard with her family for a celebration. During the festivities, she and Loki meet and flirt all night. They continue to see each other and soon become lovers. Sigyn soon has to go home, but they keep in touch. One day, rouges come and attack her village, killing her family and raping her.
Sigyn is allowed back to Asgard and tells Loki what happened and that she found that she is pregnant. Loki is devastated that it happened, but he cares for Sigyn and asked her to marry him. He can tell with his magic that the child is not his, but he is willing to claim it as his own anyway.
Odin is not in favor of the union as he thinks Sigyn is below Loki, but Loki tells him that he loves Sigyn and will marry her anyway. Odin gives in and the ceremony happens. Soon Sigyn goes into labor and they find that there are twins, Vali and Narfi. They are shocked but happy and they live away from the palace in peace for many years. After some time, Sigyn comes to Loki and tells him that she is pregnant again. Loki is overjoyed.
One day, Thor comes to Loki and tells him that there is a conflict going on in another realm and he needs Loki's help to stop it. Loki goes with the promise to Sigyn that he will be back soon.
While he is gone, Odin sends men out to kill Sigyn and the boys before the baby is born or Loki comes back.
Loki returns and finds his family dead. Struck by grief, he attempts to raise them from the dead even though such magic is forbidden. It doesn't work and they are set on a pyre.
Years later, Thor's coronation is ruined by Loki and they travel to Jotenheim where Loki realizes that he is a Frost Giant. When he confronts Odin about it, he realizes that when Odin says that he wanted to protect him that Odin had sent the men to kill his family because the new child was his and would be half Frost Giant, so he would find out his heritage.
Loki is angry but cannot bring himself to kill his father. Instead he takes the throne and is determined to kill all the Frost Giants so that there would no longer be any "monsters" to compare him to. Thor stops him and as he holds on, he knows if he falls there is a possibility that he will be killed falling between the branches of the world tree and would see Sigyn again.

Here's a little video about Loki and Sigyn. Love Loki in the marvel movies and since I'm from Sweden, from which a part of the mythology comes from, I wanted to read more about it. Found out Loki actually had a wife name Sigyn and that she was truly loyal to Loki so I wanted to do a video about them.

I wanted to make a Logyn video for a long time, I guess I just tried to write Sigyn into the MCU. o_O
And yes, I know it’s the third time I used Tom and Celina together and every single time it’s a different combination of characters. They look good together (that and she’s the only blonde actress I REALLY like xD)

I find Loki a fascinating character and I've found the enduring faithfulness of Sigyn in the Norse legends rather endearing. I have a series of videos I'm working on exploring their relationship. This story takes place as a bit of a backstory into their relationship prior to Thor when Loki is charming and mischievous, not yet malicious and broken, and how she could come to love him so much.
Loki and Sigyn - Story
Sigyn receives a letter from Loki, professing his love. She's unsure how to feel about it, but starts to realize she has fallen in love with him as well. Sigyn is the one he confides in that he feels he lives in Thor's shadow, but he's not ready to hear her attempts to convince him he's not and leaves. On an excursion through the forests outside of the golden city, Sigyn is attacked. Sif and the others tell Loki that Sigyn has not returned and he rides out to find her. Once she has recovered, they sneak out of the city to be together. It ends with Thor's ruined coronation and his subsequent decision to wage war on Jotunheim. Sigyn tries to convince Loki not to go, but Loki leaves for Jotunheim, both of them knowing nothing will ever be the same afterwards.

Sigyn
In Norse mythology, Sigyn (Old Norse "victorious girl-friend") is a goddess and is the wife of Loki. Sigyn is attested in the Poetic Edda, compiled in the 13th century from earlier traditional sources, and the Prose Edda, written in the 13th century by Snorri Sturluson. In the Poetic Edda, little information is provided about Sigyn other than her role in assisting Loki during his captivity. In the Prose Edda, her role in helping her husband through his time spent in bondage is stated again, she appears in various kennings, and her status as a goddess is mentioned twice. Sigyn may appear on the Gosforth Cross and has been the subject of an amount of theory and cultural references.

In the prose, Loki has been bound by the gods with the guts of his son Nari, his son Váli is described as having been turned into a wolf, and the goddess Skaði fastens a venomous snake over Loki's face, from which venom drips. Sigyn, again described as Loki's wife, holds a basin under the dripping venom. The basin grows full, and she pulls it away, during which time venom drops on Loki, causing him to writhe so violently that earthquakes occur that shake the entire earth.

I started this video 11 months ago (specifically on May 25th 2015) and finally I finished it.. *phew*
To be honest it hasn't turned out as amazing as I'd hoped, but overall I'm pretty satisfied (especially considering that this project has been driving me MAD for the past few months).
So, yeah.. the first half(-ish) of the video is Sigyn, AFTER Loki as fallen from the Bifrost, with a bunch of flashbacks (showing events prior to and during the first Thor film). From around the middle of the video it all becomes present time; from after Loki's fall, into the events of The Avengers and up until Loki's “death” in Thor: The Dark World). All flashbacks have slightly blurry and black/white edges, so hopefully it's not too confusing.. oh, and in case you hadn't guessed; the song is supposed to be from Sigyn's point of view.
Aaaand as there's a vast amount of dialogue in the video (I think I've even outdone my “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”-video which held the record) here's a transcript:

I don't know if you think it's corny – or maybe even that it was just a mistake – but I quite like the sense of coming “full circle” by using the same quote at the beginning and at the end..

Thor is on the helicarrier, telling the Avengers about Loki when Captain America asks what happened to drive Loki crazy. Thor begins to remember and tells them.
Sigyn, a noble girl from Vanaheim, traveled to Asgard with her family for a celebration. During the festivities, she and Loki meet and flirt all night. They continue to see each other and soon become lovers. Sigyn soon has to go home, but they keep in touch. One day, rouges come and attack her village, killing her family and raping her.
Sigyn is allowed back to Asgard and tells Loki what happened and that she found that she is pregnant. Loki is devastated that it happened, but he cares for Sigyn and asked her to marry him. He can tell with his magic that the child is not his, but he is willing to claim it as his own anyway.
Odin is not in favor of the union as he thinks Sigyn is below Loki, but Loki tells him that he loves Sigyn and will marry her anyway. Odin gives in and the ceremony happens. Soon Sigyn goes into labor and they find that there are twins, Vali and Narfi. They are shocked but happy and they live away from the palace in peace for many years. After some time, Sigyn comes to Loki and tells him that she is pregnant again. Loki is overjoyed.
One day, Thor comes to Loki and tells him that there is a conflict going on in another realm and he needs Loki's help to stop it. Loki goes with the promise to Sigyn that he will be back soon.
While he is gone, Odin sends men out to kill Sigyn and the boys before the baby is born or Loki comes back.
Loki returns and finds his family dead. Struck by grief, he attempts to raise them from the dead even though such magic is forbidden. It doesn't work and they are set on a pyre.
Years later, Thor's coronation is ruined by Loki and they travel to Jotenheim where Loki realizes that he is a Frost Giant. When he confronts Odin about it, he realizes that when Odin says that he wanted to protect him that Odin had sent the men to kill his family because the new child was his and would be half Frost Giant, so he would find out his heritage.
Loki is angry but cannot bring himself to kill his father. Instead he takes the throne and is determined to kill all the Frost Giants so that there would no longer be any "monsters" to compare him to. Thor stops him and as he holds on, he knows if he falls there is a possibility that he will be killed falling between the branches of the world tree and would see Sigyn again.

Sigyn receives a letter from Loki, professing his love. She's unsure how to feel about it, but starts to realize she has fallen in love with him as well. Sigyn is the one he confides in that he feels he lives in Thor's shadow, but he's not ready to hear her attempts to convince him he's not and leaves. On an excursion through the forests outside of the golden city, Sigyn is attacked. Sif and the others tell Loki that Sigyn has not returned and he rides out to find her. Once she has recovered, they sneak out of the city to be together. It ends with Thor's ruined coronation and his subsequent decision to wage war on Jotunheim. Sigyn tries to convince Loki not to go, but Loki leaves for Jotunheim, both of them knowing nothing will ever be the same afterwards.

I find Loki a fascinating character and I've found the enduring faithfulness of Sigyn in the Norse legends rather endearing. I have a series of videos I'm working on exploring their relationship. This story takes place as a bit of a backstory into their relationship prior to Thor when Loki is charming and mischievous, not yet malicious and broken, and how she could come to love him so much.
