WTHR Eyewitness News 11PM Montage (11/2/1995)
WTHR Eyewitness News Tonight from November 1995 Back in 1995, WTHR had changed its news branding from "NewsChannel 13" to "Eyewitness News" recently upgraded its news anchor desk, news set, and even hired former CBS News correspondent John Stehr. And for Houstonians, a very young Jeremy Rogalski, now at KHOU in Houston. This was INNewsCenter's very second clip, and was originally submitted November 2, 1999. WTHR Analog Sign-off (6/12/2009)
At 12:37 AM June 12, 2009, after 51 years and nine months of analog broadcasting on channel 13, WTHR bid adios to its analog signal and at 1:00 PM later that day moved its digital channel from channel 46 to 13. I submitted this to the JawToons web site (for those who want to see the SD version), which was featured on that site for the week of July 18, 2009. TO COPYRIGHT HOLDER: If you would like to see this clip removed, please contact me and I will remove it.

WTHR on WNDY News Open (2004)
From March 16, 1996 until February 14, 2005, WNDY's 10PM newscast was produced by WTHR. This newscast later moved to both WALV and WIPX (which its agreement ended on July of that year.) Sadly, WTHR no longer produces a 10:00 PM newscast. WNDY's newscast production by WISH-TV premiered on February 28, 2005, just two weeks after LIN TV acquired WNDY and then-fellow UPN affiliate WWHO out I-70 East in Columbus (OH.) In a strange twist of fate, the WBNS-produced newscast for WWHO is similar to this newscast. TOLIN TV: Go ahead and claim copyright, but if you would like to see this clip removed (despite this clip being in its original format and unaltered) please contact me and I will remove it.

WTHR aquarium test
WTHR-TV in Indianapolis conducted an aquarium test to show the dramatic difference between ionization and photoelectric smoke alarms. Inspired by a similar demonstration by the World Fire Safety Foundation, investigative reporter Bob Segall shows why smoke alarms with photoelectric technology are a much better option for detecting slow-burning smoky fires, which kill hundreds of people in homes and apartments each year. This news report first aired on WTHR-TV July 30, 2007.

WTHR - Indiana's Puppy Pipeline Part 1
Have you ever wondered where pet stores in Indiana get those cute puppies? 13 Investigates spent eight months tracking Indiana's internal puppy pipeline, and it begins in a place few people would expect. Daviess County is a quiet farming community two hours southwest of Indianapolis, and it is also the puppy breeding capital of Indiana. Towns such as Odon and Loogootee are home to dozens of Amish families who operate large-scale breeding kennels.

WTHR - Indiana's Puppy Pipeline Part 2
While puppies from commercial breeding operations are sold to pet stores, their parents are often left behind. Those dogs usually live their adult lives in a cage. So what happens to dogs that can no longer produce puppies? What do commercial breeders do with those? Kim Townsend, a dog breeding industry researcher, says many of those dogs become the forgotten victims of the Puppy Pipeline. "A lot of them just stay in the same cage until they die," Townsend said. "They just linger." Uncle Bill's gets most of its puppies from commercial dog breeders in Daviess County, Ind. That area is home to dozens of commercial breeders who supply thousands of puppies to central Indiana pet stores.
