*********NOTICE*********

I am currently away and will not be able to ship out anything but the jewelry until I return home. I'm not sure when that will be but I will post upon my return.
In the meantime I can be found planting along the verge...

Not having a super fantastic fancy camera, or even a computer (!) can stop me.
I have a phone and I have a little chromebook and behold.....

I have these things I have created...

aprons....

in time for Mother's day shopping...

and belts...

made from salvaged quilts...

and two new necklaces...

inspired by walks on the beach

and foggy mornings...

Shooting Star

Another quilt re-born. One of the fabrics used in the original quilt was a gorgeous vibrant ikat dyed silk from a vintage Japanese kimono. There are cotton fabrics, some appliqued with the edges left raw and mostly machine quilted in a free form fashion and some hand beading.
The bag measures 12.5" x 13" and the strap is a braided and tea stained cotton rope measuring 26" long. I've sewn on a vintage button and used waxed linen cord to tie around the button as a closure.
I've named it the Shooting Star bag for the gold star with the brilliant blue "tail" of the Japanese fabric.
Fill it with your essentials, your courage, your sense of adventure and humor and your lipstick.
Find it here.

Rain Dogs Tote

A boldly colorful and roomy tote made from a hand dyed and hand stitched quilt that I made years ago. One of my "re-makes".  Nothing dies a lonely death around here. Things are transformed and given new purpose.
