So Lonely Was The Ballad
So lonely was the ballad
Harmonica man Sam was so knackered after jives of love
He puts on the gloves and then puts on his hat
Then its home to the missus who sits on his tongue
Selfish sons with their packs of cigarettes
Forking out two take your girl with the ticket
Sometimes sane other times not with it
Standing at the picket, man your hands they're freezing
Girls with their pearls on the flex of Monroe
Half g blow Marilyn's gone loco
Navaho... hi ho silver, Hey ho lets go dancing with the average Joes
Who talk with their fists and argue with their friends
Always take the piss but they're loyal in the end
But watch out cous cos they'll steal your girlfriend
Take her round the back; she'll come back limping
Girls singing on the bus
Fellas kicking up a fuss
Crying out sighs but they're still looking dangerous
Oh this is definitely all for you
Living life in the fast lane
Give it up when you got no game
Oh this is definitely all for you
So remember when you choke theres a reason bein'
We leavin' the town cos we ain't been believin'
Blowin' up smoke from the lungs to the ceiling
Makin' sure nightmares turn up in your dreamin'
We all good, bounce this way, on the mike every day
Kicking up the country oh
Good time in the old city
Who's listening and who wants more?
Girls singing on the bus
Fellas kicking up a fuss
Crying out sighs but they're still looking dangerous
Oh this is definitely all for you
Living life in the fast lane
Give it up when you got no game
Oh this is definitely all for you
(Spoken Word)
And how it was they noticed how the panic times subsided after listening to this tape, so we would appreciate your feedback. People who have panic attacks often feel that they should be able to deal with them and indeed the resources you need are already within you its just that sometimes the appropriate responses to a particular situation are not immediately accessible
Some of them said you never made the cut and young son break away wanna be older
Sober as a judge as the door slammed shut
3 bags full and a yes for the no sir
Say as you leave, "get up and go, go"
Say "hello Showaddy waddy wa wo wo"
There's never been a better way than getting right out of this town on Monday
Well I still wear my old tap shoes, they fit
You and me looked twelve years old back when i was ten whilst boozy suzie got woozy with a hoozy, advantage taken
If i ever see again that chaperone get kicked in the teeth by street-done Tone
Well her dress is ripped and her shoes are soakin'
1 step, 3 back, drinking potion
Girls singing on the bus
Fellas kicking up a fuss
Crying out sighs but they're still looking dangerous
Oh this is definitely all for you
Living life in the fast lane
Give it up when you got no game
Pacemaker
Juveniles, hide your porno mags
The girl's got problems at her yard so she's packing up her bags full of rags
Her man got down from Po Na Na
While the Madre still in the kitchen smokes a 20-deck fags
Body bags come back on planes from wartorn Iraq
It's the stark naked truth, a dark aftermath
Baby T, the juice and the dog just barks
Remember man the bully always had the last laugh
It was a blast last night down the old 12 Bar
White socks, black shoes with the ballads in the car
With a lump in the throat she won't understand
Twos on a cigarette it's all blah blah
Bloody obli obla dah glug down liquor
Life goes on for all the daytrippers
Starts off small but it's gonna get bigger
By the end of this letter it may all be better
Well she's always asking with the who, where and how
The girls say ooh la la
Well if I had another chance I'd do it differently now
And the girls say ooh la la la la la la la
From Trafalger Square where the crackpipe reeking
To in your dark damp flat, the ceiling's leaking
You fell in love when you first started chatting
But got so bored cause she never stopped speaking
Consider this son on the bad behaviour
He's keeping all the freebies, delivering the papers
You hate us, shake down fakers
Oh, you'll never get nowhere
Cause I'm the pacemaker
(Keepup, runny runny run run)
Pretty please me, oh, she's easy on the eye
Some say that today only the good young die
Ipee-oh-kai-yay, it's been right good day
I wanna ask questions but I don't mean to pry
How did you get to where you going to before you came slowly moseying through this bar?
You started your race, Jonny Cockeral wants his money
Give up the man he's a fruit and nut bar
(I'm serious, he's a real nutter)
Oh, I gotta see the GP, coughing up lungs
Doc says stop or you're going die young
I haven't even started to do what I done
You young don't listen, you just carry on
Well, we heard it before when your song got sung
Get a grip son
Why?
Cause you're always drunken
We're not captains just skivvy sunken
Humdrum drum, drum, live fast die young
Mr Skin stumbling, the road rocky
Trespassers on the private property
Remember back then it was the ranter banter
Young sons watched their young Pas get cancer
Vagabond Sandy crying out for he missed her
Missed her so much that he went drank the brewery
So sing-a-long Sam this is a song about you
We all went out and we got pissed-ola
I don't wanna fight he's a right big cunt
But the fellas say go on my son, my son
It's all a bit of fun 'til someone gets done
But the fellas say go on my son, my son
Well, I'm more likely to pick up and run
But the fellas say go on my son, my son
Ah fuck it, well, he's a right big cunt
But I'll knock him one, fuck that
Sitar singing on the operation, people say they can't walk out
I remember you walking in, that's why you got this door lookin' lock stock
In the olden days my time seems to be running away,
Singing up songs of the rights and wrongs
Don't expect anymore from me
To all the dead people
Especially out to Diego
A friend and with the criminal intention about a liaison
To all the dead people
Especially out to Diego
A friend and with the criminal intention about a liaison
Take your problem to United Nations
Tell old Kofi about the situation
Tell him how you left the whole congregation
Sittin' in the pews, in the pews, all alone
Have a go heroes shutting the old door locked
Sitting it down with (socks)?
For the break in a nose, no hero kickin' it down wanting a raise
Have a good luck, I ain't no abucus but you can count on me
To all the dead people
Especially out to Diego
A friend and with the criminal intention about a liaison
To all the dead people
Especially out to Diego
A friend and with the criminal intention about a liaison
Take your problem to United Nations
Tell old Kofi about the situation
Tell him how you left the whole congregation
Sittin' in the pews, in the pews, all alone
Take your problem to United Nations
Tell old Kofi about the situation
Tell him how you left the whole congregation
Sittin' in the pews, in the pews, all alone
Take your problem to the United Nations
Take your problem to the United Nations
Take your problem to the United Nations
Tell old Kofi about the situation
Is it a way, out of the day. Calling yourself out to kingdoms
Is it a time, singing the lines on the old border line
Time it has passed, being the last to enter the race for the future
Past is fast and fast is thin and thats why we're witherin'
So good is the bad, the ugly left with your face in the morning
You screamed at the back, told her just jack
about how you lived on the weekend
Killers in mist, told you about it
years before you answered
The whole of the point, the real the day is passing now you're finished
So you scream like nothings wrong, Sons of silence and in them songs, out loud for the reservation
It's all thriller, no filler
and the beat came out the line, three or four times.
It's the first time that you'll say
It's all thriller, no filler
It's all filler, no thriller
It's all filler, no thriller
It's all filler, no thriller
It's all filler, no thriller
Two lost boys in the lost town, two lost girls in the lost and found
I'll find you out when you hit the ground
Don't stop moving girly, dance around
Two lost boys in the lost town, two lost girls in the lost and found
I'll find you out when you hit the ground
Don't stop moving girly, dance around
Two lost boys in the lost town, two lost girls in the lost and found
I'll find you out when you hit the ground
Don't stop moving baby, dance around
So you scream like nothings wrong, Sons of silence and in them songs, out loud for the reservation
It's all thriller, no filler
and the beat came out the line, three or four times.
It's the first time that you'll say
Calm Down Dearest
Bang, where we going, what we doing this night
I feel drunk already, maybe my drink got spiked
But more like the other like that I'm just a lightweight
But I don't care, man, I been drunk forever I'm sedated
Hatred, I'm sedated, pages, I'm sedated
Worthwhile stages, cages, and all of my rage
This is a good time to start dancing to that song man
The good one, DJ, play that record of mine
So where be Joey, get me a drink of dimple whisky
Look at the lady she be shady no but maybe
What you doing where you going to hereafter?
She said get the fuck out man you seem to be so plastered
We been all the night drinking and staring at girls alike
You know what man? What goes on?
Drink your can, walk it drunk down The Strand
Talk about how you skipped the whole club queue
Who the fuck are you?
Your heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin' and stackin' them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin' and stackin' them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Well, I remember shootin' shit down down the old alleyways
Talking tragedies and music like Billie Holiday
I remember what we're doing then but can't rememeber now
It's the past, it's the future but
I don't know how to carry on through the rights and wrongs
Kick it like we know the songs already
Before we rock steady down and on the dancefloor
I don't get no fights when I get angry drunk
Sit down in the corner, man, I'll soak my fuckin' socks off
So who the fuck are we? Just the boys in the city
It's all been done before and we'll do it again so
See you later you alligators
We'll be back I'm sure ????????
So bye, bye, bye I'll try never to ????
We are so young we don't understand if we cannot fly(?)
So we're here now but we'll be gone soon
Not today, not tomorrow, not the next two
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin' and stackin' them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin' and stackin' them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin' and stackin' them lines
I say, calm down dearest
Heavy, it's on my mind
She says you feel just fine
Rackin' and stackin' them lines
Alicia Quays
Mothers talk to you like nothing is better
Than you going out on a Tuesday
Well I'm not sure what to do
But man I swear man I'm slavin' far away
An' why is it that always on the weekend, no-one ever about to shout
Are people working too hard, or drinking too hard?
As a matter of fact I'm never quite sure.
A-blaze it down & pull yourself up
Pull yourself right to the hook shook man crooks
Never go nowhere with me cos I'm all on my own no pity
Spit like guilty minds in the sermon movin around of this place like you never did learn them
I shake myself down
And rattle myself out
And put myself on the line to dry
And why is it New Years Eve is always shit?
Dontcha know what i mean man, deal with it
It's always just the way we're rolling
Your girl's that fucked off on Smirnoff Ice
I think once, twice or thrice
Never makes no difference to me
A skinny little white runt with head lice
Never been better than money never been aw at least startin to see it
I've always been around this town
Since the first day I was born
An' i've been losing frequencies and losing sound and losing everything and I squandered it all and
I've been hit up I've been around
I've been in the council since the first day in town
An' I've still been beating, cheating, falling to the floor when kids are bickering.
I've been a-bleeding, I've been a-losing
Where were you when i thought what I'm choosing
And if you aint better
A lala listen up don't stress cos I start man impress ya
And if you aint losing
Then you aint grooving.....
I'll still be down here on my own send your girl over
She has a complete and utter chance with me
I've been over, I've been over
You've been down, you've been down
Now I've been up but I'm movin'
All around the town all around and around
I've been grooving
I've been losin'
I've been alright choosin'
And now I'm back for the challenge
Oh the challenge and I want some more
Now I'm on my train
Life in the fast lane, never gave me no game
And then the man says "wakey wakey it's mornin' time on the northern line"
I'm alright bowling straight up to camden
All the way from North Faringdon
I'm gonna make sure I'll be tired and i realise that's inticing the right to
One stone so
An' too much dough
And in my mind I've been sniffin up too much blow
And now I'm thinkin' "aw I'll never"
I sever it up before I think about forever and I
Chat it back to the people I used to know
Kick it back cos I'm rolling it solo
A whynot what's to do?
A no-one really knows me cos no-one is as cool
I chat it back like you've never been a theif
I'm a thriller
Licence to kill double-seven I'm a killer
Killer killer
You want a killer? Never know me, ha.
It's all that chat back an too much to the liver an'
I kick it back like a bitch slap right to myself in the mirror
Kick it back thinner
Maybe my shirt don't fit no more
A hardcore man think he can fight up the law
Shackled to the tenants
Now he never work no more on the floor
Dedication to why all
Now I see back to the further
Now it comes back looser than ever
Some kids they think an' get better
Think they're trend setters but they're never pacemakers
What am I?
What am I?
What am i in my own dear eyes?
A-what am I?
What am I?
What am I in my own dear eyes?
What am I?
What am I?
What am I in my own dear eyes?
I've said so much what am I what am i what am I makes no sense
No mo-o-o-ore, mo-o-ore ah-oh mo-o-o-ore ooooh
What am I oh-ow-oh well I don't awwwww...etc...
Wheee an a dumdumday.
Uh uh uh uh
'S like a march in here
From the left to the right
Come on and stomp your feet
Uh uh uh uh
'S like a march in here
Come on and stomp your feet
Some kids they're chilling on corners
Out of order I think they'd all be better
T' tie their laces, rat races, hit the pages
Write yer own books & write yer own spell checkers
I'm on a better man chillin' in my own room
Assume to accumelate shake whaserdate
Drink it down much quicker
A glug glug glug on my liquor and I feel much better
Talk to me about violence
Never know me I sit further in silence
An' when I drink it down I drink it up
It fills my body and I feel fresher
I tick up the tester
Regulator
I'm a true man, shootin', lootin' now I'm presuming
That everyone I know in here
Ah the dedication, my name ah J-T an' I
Roll it down roll it down
Who wants to get themselves up?
Who's goin'a her's?
I'll get it in louder
Your fingers
An' can you smell that it lingers?
She's a fat bitch but I'd still give her........one.
I'm a cheeky son
Where they from?
Ha - you bet they're from London
Face it
Ah-la-da-da-da-da ah
That's me finished...
See you later

they think were fools sitting on the corner,
older you get the more like your father,
the more I drink the more like my brother,
seem to have picked up on a callus trait,
hate people who think there life is a drama,
making in jokes about americana,
amusing myself is worth it for the karma,
obama sounds like osama to me.
well my bedroom's watched by an intafada,
kids with bricks or strips in gaza,
point at me in my pyjamas,
laugh and scream get out of bed,
I say I am I got plans I'm meeting up with maltha,
I'm a shoulder she's robert palma,
acts like a twat but she's a top banana,
might as well admit she's addicted to love.
caught in a spiders web,
its' not the first time playing dead,
I see I saw lovers undercover,
no one found out until we left,
caught in a spiders web,
lt's not the first time playing dead,
they know something oh well we're running,
I know they'll catch up in the end.
you walked in last with a dirty barbour,
found me at the bar in fits of laughter,
said you've been seen out digging the past,
with arthur you'd rather just walk in the rain,
at a party with ash as they smash a pinata,
can I leave some stuff here for you to look after,
I'll be back around probably in the mid summer,
new york new york man I love the city.
caught in a spiders web,
its' not the first time playing dead,
I see I saw lovers undercover,
no one found out until we left,
caught in a spiders web,
It's not the first time playing dead,

I know they'll catch up in the end.
In the hustle and the bustle I feel
I'm in trouble and I trip and then I stumble
I feel myself fall in the hustle and the bustle
It's too rough I tumble in the gravel and the rubble can you hear me call
well with a wheezing chest and a leaking ceiling,
baby next door screaming all evening,
the beatings we got and the ones we're seeking,
we're stubborn as fuck and I'm proud to say,
that me and ben skeleton mixed our own medicine,
never let a critic affect our direction,
barricade doors with out pale complexion,
program a beat bones I'll just keep telling them,
how selling them a brand is a band complication,
a man in a room with a survey for the station,
trying to get it on air no care tor creation,
I guess its all part of indoctrination.
In the hustle and the bustle I feel
I'm in trouble and I trip and then I stumble
I feel myself fall in the hustle and the bustle
It's too rough I tumble in the gravel and the rubble can you hear me call
caught in a spiders web,
its' not the first time playing dead,
I see I saw lovers undercover,
no one found out until we left,
caught in a spiders web,
It's not the first time playing dead,

I feel myself fall in the hustle and the bustle
Salvador
From here to salvador, the ladies dance
To fill us reckless sons with passions of the heart
I've been round this town for so long, she's been dancing since the first day
I've been all around but I love coming back to see lucy
She swings me over to pull me out,
Twirls around and I fall about, in giggles and laugher
Oh I'm plastered, can't damn help it I'm sorry love
What's to falling feeling feet
Great for bouncing round these streets
They're lonely like you, are for me, to ask for a dance or two
A heart of gold, and a face so pale, with a second hand dress and lips of a temptress
Bar stool banshee, howled out at me,
The kings and queens at the clubs evolved from pubs
And two much broken heart love
Singing up the blues in locked boxed bedroom,
A wop bop baloo bop ta wop bamboo
Are you going to take the chance
Why do you care no one plays fair
And neither do the lords of the dance
From here to Salvador, the ladies dance, to fill us reckless sons, with passions of the heart
Well it's a bang bang Anglo Saxons at the disco
A tish you all fall down
Hound dogs round on the prowl
For the next young girl, who told her daddy,
“I'm going round Gemma's to learn and study
I'm young and so free and I'm kinda sexy
And when I'm on the floor all the boys they feel me
Falling through the floor again
And never coming back
Hear ya scream and shout again
And nothing comes around
It's all fithy now?
Yo' say you're checking out
(Run away together for whatever for however be forever
We so loose the key to keep up shot down)
Well it's worse so it's for better new york city sever tethers
That was strong enough to hold us up in our home town
Hit the ground with the siren sound
The news reporter said there were ten shells they found
She said that if you hold it to your ear our loud
You'll hear it was the police that shot him down
Sour troubadour's say she never coming back
Sound of shells hits the floor gone ever more
You're calling on the road again you say you're checking out
You're running down the road again away from the fall out
Sour troubadour's say she never coming back
Sound of shells hits the floor gone ever more
You're calling on the road again you say you're checking out
When there's no one left to fight, boys like him don't shine so bright,
Soon as I see the dust settle, he's out on the town tryin' to find trouble.
When there's no one left to fight, boys like him don't shine so bright,
Soon as I see (LIGHTWEIGHT PRICK!) the dust settle, he's out on the town tryin' to find trouble.
I take a train again away from shame and blame a city pained to see, a friend I hadn't seen since I was drinking underage.
I was a ten a day, how'd you say, little shit, white lightning, heightening all my courage, quick wit.
We wore checkered season wallabies, buttoned shirts and whiskey, mutton dressed as lamb, a fan of bands like The Jam Jam Jam Jam,
I don't know who I am, he said I dunno if I can, I said yeah man, you can-can.
When there's no one left to fight, boys like him don't shine so bright,
Soon as I see the dust settle, he's out on the town tryin' to find trouble.
When there's no one left to fight, boys like him don't shine so bright,
Soon as I see the dust settle, he's out on the town tryin' to find trouble.
Drunk and being sick, I feel like shit, I gotta quit.
I hope I haven't missed the last train gonna be stuck in Hampton Wick,
With the boys across the platform shouting "lightweight prick!"
I'm a featherweight champion, cheap to get pissed, wish Candy were here with me, she'd deffa deal with it, tell 'em all to shut their mouths and go suck their mommas dicks, coz she ain't no she ain't that low, three fingers down, or the other two up, and I'll sing this proud.
Runnin' with believers, no time for fever, and I haven't got time for you either, with your sticks n' stones, sticks n' stones, I take 'em home on my own.
Runnin' with believers, no time for fever, and I haven't got time for you either, with your sticks n' stones, sticks n' stones, I take 'em home on my own.
As I travel down the track all my memories flood back.
We were runnin' at ease from enemies, and rushed back to your momma's flat, it's the only place but home I feel relaxed enough to crap, I know it sounds crude, but there's something in that.
How's danny doin'? Hear he's high flyin' and that, stockbroker in the city with a lady and a baby.
And Fee, is she free from the demons she had? Was it two months clean, routine to relapse.
She smoked all of your weed that's why the loved ones out to leave,
Why when you take the lead they stab you in the back 'till you can't breathe,
When you're bleeding on the floor, and no one hears your call at all, she screamed out to the party 'you are sheeps and cattle!'
I was hanging out with Louie in the shooting gallery, when the news got through to me about you and Jeremy.
Pat on my back, and a swig on my brew, you're still my friend, it's impossible to hate you.
Cradle to the grave, I know we always misbehave, people latch down and then they rain on our parade.
Girls we love leave when we want them to stay, like today, remember, what shall we say?
When there's no one left to fight, boys like us don't shine so bright,
Soon as I see the dust settle, let's go out and find some trouble!
Runnin' with believers, no time for fever, and I haven't got time for you either, with your sticks n' stones, sticks n' stones, I take 'em home on my own.
If you smile girl i swear i'll dance these tiles
I'll give you everything that i got
Save on a sovereign and ah what fuck it you can have the whole lot
I'm only like joking, i'm much better off win a gamble slot jackpot
And dance with the devil on Friday
Max says beans are like the touch of God
Why not, I haven't got grief 'til Monday
Some say kids don't study - they cram
God damn hate that i am what i am
With slkurs and urs and a half done gram
I jig to the floor with my mama's Raybans
Looking like something out of Only Fools and
Maybe i am but you ain't understanding
This ain't a crash no smooth up landing
Kids sing along swing bedroom hanging
We're stunned and stuff alleyway writing
Double timing and all your violating
Oh policeman coming fair enough
Sonny run the whole half mile
Runny runny run the half mile
Run run sonny run sonny run the whole half mile
Now i'm down, well i'll chill with lick i spit drips on the floor
Drink up liquor much quicker than the next man bitter
Cos she rolls with larger and never asks questions
Where's my old friend licky when i'm feeling the substance
I'm like gurning it off a my face
Need a hug need corruption and need the silent violent seduction
Move it down for people i used to know when i used to see
Wanna kick it on a solo ticker drink me like liquor drop and mc and that
She don't know what she's chating about
They love it when they live it and liver lover give rip it unwritten
There she start kissing and I'm loving loving loving she's always hugging
I'm just loving loving
So if you're gonna run run sonny better
Run run sonny run the half of the mile
When police come run run sonny run run
Sonny run the half of the mile
All the kids do is buy you grief
All the parents get is no fucking sleep
Even rip home when i'm chilling on
Drink it down doing I ta bit better off and on
Songs of the rights and wrongs
Sometimes come around with a battle roll going
Other times you be running rhymes and ruinging
Vision and ruin incision and ruining spitting liquor on me
Got me feeling up ya leaving up me breathing on th floor
As i be giving you grieving
I'm finished with the c**ts
Over and out, cuz ready up roll
Here's to born of enough panic, panic button and
Stack tone static and all of you can listen to this tune
While you waiting in STD clinic waiting rooms
Northern Line
You were a no-show, down the jivin disco
My momma's at home getting pissed on vino when the kids buy draws but theyre smokin bisto
My flow goes straight but it ends illegal and the regal sons get the purest bugel
And the bullies only pick on the young and feeble, now hey yo lets go mucho boozin
Sometimes you wonder what am i doing?
You move and you groove when you lose what you lose, and you lose what you groove and your moving away
And you move what you groove when you prove what you lose and you lose what you choose
And your moving away
Well ok, what happened this free state? straight to the barrier then run off away
I say what i mean but dont mean what i say was i right? no? oh-my-goody-gosh darn it
Chattin to barney from [---] with no barnet about how we sure do love it
A young son muppet with my ma's gin&tonic;, & im pukin up all over your capri car bonnet
Chorus:
You got so much to take, too much always gonna waste your time
I need direction, always been crap on the travel as i read the signs
So shut your mouth love before i spit this track where the sun dont shine
Tick a tock the clock actin like a motherfucker drunk, fallin asleep on the northern line
All aboard! last train!
How would you feel gettin left alone he was a toned down original and stepped to toe
He was the bottomless bottles and the backwashed barrel
And the sikh who is son was thrown out and left farel(?)
Its all gone wrong in your life o answers
Users take AAA's art to charge us
Take you away from your hazy days
Rave life just a blur in the halls of dancers
Chorus
Wakey wakey! hup ya step! one man band, eh?
What you doing? where ya where ya run from?
Where ya where ya two tone, where you been done?
What you doin, where ya where ya been?
Your holdin it down with your piece-meal heart
(random ska lines) give it away, i want yo money etc
A bottle of wine and an old 45 rifle in the corner
that her grandfather left her when he died
said no supprise i've had to use it quite a few times
so J don't you ever let us down, don't you ever,
i'll have to shoot you and no one will hear a sound.
Bruised and bloody i'm lying on the ground
i am aware that i let the poor girl down
and now i'm dying, as a message to the town
this' what happens if you fuck around
if ya meddle you wan't trouble
trouble then you should meddle
don't ever meddle with Emily's heart.
She said get ya coat come on
to the dog track with the money right
yea we had some fun
left with more cos we won
i was under investigation
of suspicion of doing her wrong
she said "you've become a villian,
accused of a hit and run.
Said "ya hit me first" and i say its the worst i've ever felt in a broken heart,
said blood stains and a shirt creased, well she pays the dues.
When i left she said that your last breath will be down at the station at 2,
so she shot me down.
Bruised and bloody i'm lying on the ground
i am aware that i let the poor girl down
and now i'm dying, as a message to the town
this' what happens if you fuck around
so meddle if you wan't trouble
trouble then you should meddle
don't ever meddle with Emily's heart.
She said i'm a user and she's a loser with a gun
i said if you choose to it becomes hard to include anyone
so if you stay put it away or should i run?
She said i think you know the answer to your question
so for the smiles and all of the miles the engine's done
the further i drive away the closer we become
so if i stay would you put it away and forgive just one son?
she said J i think you know the answer to your question.
Bruised and bloody i'm lying on the ground
i am aware that i let the poor girl down
and now i'm dying, as a message to the town
this' what happens if you fuck around
so meddle if you wan't trouble
trouble then you should meddle
Hocus Pocus
Bullets Flying over head,
hear them through the walls as you lie in bed,
know you're fighting for the one you love,
but this time son I'm telling you to run.
lost myself in things I shouldn't do,
came 2 years later to without you,
the things l've done and the things I've seen,
I've been so wrong to so many the team,
is all looking like they're all past up and away,
disowned from their homes and their families,
well I can't see myself in the dream,
the dream I saw was all round me got.
hocus pocus three men jokers,
barristers beast policemen thieves,
three queens and broken dreams,
a bottle full of trouble and a gambling fiend.(x2)
well the jokers looking over as he pulling an ace,
the militia take cover under my staircase,
witches in the kitchen bitching and itching,
while two old school friends haunt the hall ways,
the host proposed a toast all of the ghost,
and the ones that loved us the hearts we broke say,
I'll never make that promise again
once was enough to all around me got
hocus pocus three men jokers,
barristers beast policemen thieves,
three queens and broken dreams,
a bottle full of trouble and a gambling fiend.(x2)
as I came to I looked for you in the cupboards and the drawers,
and the toilet queue,
asked the medicine man it he had heard the news,
he told me I'd thrown you out last june,
grabbed the politician by the neck threatened to use,
fists in a fight to find out the truth,
he said you set the scene son everyday,
you can't blame the dammed for your own mistakes,
while the mason he was pacing in my living room.
emma had a child growing up in the womb.
I said I'm staying in I never felt like I left,
my last breath was taken in conjunction with
hocus pocus three men jokers,
barristers beast policemen thieves,
three queens and broken dreams,
Let's go back to mine for a moonshine
Make sure you're quiet, my Muma's downstairs
She's been pissed since this morning
So she's there passed out
That's why my Dad is always sleeping on chair ya know
Let's go back to mine for a moonshine
Make sure you're quiet, my Muma's downstairs
She's been pissed since this morning
So she's there passed out
That's why my Dad is always sleeping on chair ya know
Where are all the ladies at this party
Oh, I'll just fuck off on my own back home
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm no picky
I'll just speed up and be
Merrily moving on
Ha, maybe not that ready, hahahaha
Where are all the ladies at this party
I'll just fuck off on my own back home
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm no picky
I'll just speed up and
Merrily moving on man
Ha, maybe not that ready, hahahaha
Oh, where the fuck are all the ladies at this party
I ain't seen no-one in an hour and a half man
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'll go home lonely
It doesn't matter?
I'm not a starter
Don't know where the fuck I'm going
I'll just go home alone
I'll go where there's a party
Everybody's gonna party
Fuck it
Let's go back to mine for a moonshine
Make sure you're quiet, my Muma's downstairs
She's been pissed since this morning
So she's there passed out
That's why my Dad is always sleeping on chair ya know
I grew up in the in the days 1990's
People drunk cans and fought for Tony
What were you, what were you coming from?
Walking the shoes just to wear 'em out
Breaking down is what you're feeling
And that's like living: giving way
But no-one really understands their freedom
And no-one understands society
Well I went to buy myself a hand gun
What do you think, man? shoot down everyone
See you back oh running star
But I spent all my money on this crapped out piece of shit called 'the bass guitar'
With an ear wigga, with a break down low, with a "ello baby"
We all know what you got to do
Always just comes down to you
We all know what you got to do, man
Always just comes down to yo-ou-ou
He got hit down to the curb
He said "I screamed and I shouted but nobody heard"
He said "I've preached, I've taught and I've learn't"
He said "now, I'm just down from the suburbs"
With an here we go, with a break down low, with a "ello baby"
We all know what you got to do
Always just comes down to you
We all know what you got to do, man
Always just comes down to yo-ou-ou
He got hit down to the curb
He said "I screamed and I shouted but nobody heard"
He said "I've preached, I've taught and now I've learn't"
He said "now, I'm just down from the suburbs"
Well, I-I-I-I I went drinkin down at the bar
I went drink driving in your car
See you back now running star
Cos right now I'm not sure if I can drive for shit but fuck it ah-ah-ah
Sheila goes out with her mate Stella
Gets poured all over her fella
'Cause she says, "Man he ain't no better
Than the next man kicking up fuss"
Drunk, she stumbles down by a river
Screams calling "London"
None of us heard her coming
I guess the carpet weren't rolled out
Oh when my love, my darling
You've left me here alone
I'll walk the streets of London
Which once seemed all our own
The vast suburban churches
Together we have found
The ones which smelt of gaslight
The ones in incense drowned
Her lingo went from the Cockney to the Gringo
Anytime she sing a song the other girls sing along
And tell all the fellas that the lady is single
Fickle way ta tickle on my young man's tipple
She's up for doing what she like, any day, more like the night
She drowned drunk sorrows, that she stole, bought, borrowed
She didn't like thugs but at the same time understood
Fella's will be fella's 'til the end of time
Good heavens you boys
Blue-blooded murder of the English tongue
Jack had a gang that he called the Many Grams
He was known as Smack Jack the Cracker Man
In life he was dealt some shit hands
But the boys' got the back now
And Jay went the same way as Micky and Dan
Dependent mans upon the heroin
And man, Lisa had a baby with Sam
And now Jack's on his own man
Well done, Jack, glug down that cider
You're right, she's a slut and you never fucking liked her
Not like, what, he stopped so shocked
Cause it turned out the last dance killed the pied piper
Sheila goes out with her mate Stella
Gets poured all over her fella
'Cause she says, "Man he ain't no better
Than the next man kicking up fuss"
Drunk, she stumbles down by a river
Screams calling "London"
None of us heard her coming
I guess the carpet weren't rolled out
So this a short story about the girl Georgina
Never seen her worse, clean young mess
Under stress, at best but she's pleased to see you
With love, God Bless, we lay her body to rest
Now it all there started with Daddy's alcoholic
Lightweight, drink it down, numbing his brain
And the doctor said he couldn't get the heart there started
Now beat up, drugged up, she feeling the strain
She says, "When I fall, no one catch me
Alone, lonely, I'll overdose slowly
Get scared, I'll scream and shout"
But you know it won't matter she'll be passing out
I said gigidy-bigidy-up, and just another day
Another sad story that's tragedy
Paramedics announced death at 10.30
Rip it up, kick it, spit out the views
Sheila goes out with her mate Stella
Gets poured all over her fella
'Cause she says, "Man he ain't no better
Than the next man kicking up fuss"
Drunk, she stumbles down by a river
Screams calling "London"
None of us heard her coming
I guess the carpet weren't rolled out
Sheila goes out with her mate Stella
Gets poured all over her fella
'Cause she says, "Man he ain't no better
Than the next man kicking up fuss"
Drunk, she stumbles down by a river
Screams calling "London"
None of us heard her coming
Well it starts and it ends in 25 minutes
I met a man down in Waterloo
Casual dressed to impress I guess
The women that he wants to know
It's the trail on the South West rail that prevailed
Had a lot to do it too
Young men I know went toe to toe
Over young girl that he knew
Well she starts in the park with a heavy heart
And waited til her lips turn blue
Waiting in show, she blamed it on the snow
That fell into the back of your shoe
Said the cocaine fast lane has taken my old flames
Now it's taken my new
Well I don't blame no game players make their own names
Now I'm blaming you
Call on me when your heart breaks down
I'm never too busy to come out running around the town
So call on me when you need to be found
Never too busy to come out running around the town
As it starts getting dark we hear the dogs bark
I guess burglar Bill's been killed
And as sharp as his wit Danny's never been kissed
By the girls who live up on a hill
He says cigarette butts bad luck like the robber
I don't think I'll ever feel
Accepted, expensive and looking so rejected
Is all I know how to do
Call on me when your heart breaks down
I'm never too busy to come out running around the town
So call on me when you need to be found
Never too busy to come out running around the town
He said when I'm gone will things carry on
The same as they ever do
Jumping red lights, racing Saturday nights
Into Sunday afternoons
Getting high as the sky while the rumours fly
TV in the living room
Shows bombs getting dropped and people getting shot
In a lands that he never knew
Call on me when your heart breaks down
I'm never too busy to come out running around the town
So call on me when you need to be found
She's been hangin out back with the alley cats
Brother said he's not having it
Black eyes back
These rich kids don't understand what's coming
Rats on a sinking ship
Cos it's inherited they said it gets them real quick
Gotta see a lover in another district
With a boy that looks scary and a pitball terrier
Swear we were living in that common area
Well your on the colder sack with the runaway pack
Cause no one would give you slack
Now she knows how it feels running in heels
Cos the deal was a fucking trap
Now you're hanging round jacks with a lottery wrap
Complaining about the big smoke
Getting righteous with me academically
Well at least I remembered to vote
I cried when jenny
When I was unhappy
Now the tables turn I said jenny can rely on me
Jenny can rely on me
Jenny can rely on me
So next door neighbor she's a right little raver
Makes money when she babysits
Says same shit different day, nothing new around the way
Back to the local for drinks
And in a dead end town, gravel on the ground
You're vandalising for kicks
Said ma, I feel trapped in this old colder sack
She said sweetheart, we got transport links
I cried when jenny
When I was unhappy
Now the tables turn I said jenny can rely on me
Jenny can rely on me
If you've got the money
I think it would be funny oh ohoh
To take your girl,
Spend a bit of your cash for me!
I've been watching you
'Cause then she might be happy
No longer lonely oh oh oh
And I could take her out the next day
For pretty much free!
An' all the boys they go
Da-dee-doo-da-da-dee-da-doo-dah
Dom-dom-de-de-dom-dom
Dom-da-dee-doo-da-da-dom
Da-dee-doo-da-dee-da-doo-dah
Dom-dom-de-de-dom-dom
Dom-da-dee-doo-da-da-dom
I spend late nights trying to pick up love
Off the floor,
Where the other brothers leave it be
Though it's stuck down hard
It's like chewing gum
While a girl on the floor singing R.I.P.
'Cause the song birds
Don't do singing on pavements
No sweet melody the sound of spit
Spat, or bit, spoke of lost hopes
So do what you're told man choke on it
We be near heaven at a quarter to eleven
By three we are thinking of the love we lost
By four we be high,
Thinking of the girl lost second
Check the odds,
Was it worth the cost?
Do you give a toss?
Or are you, looking away?
Wondering why you can't eat?
Why you never sleep?
Drunk all the time?
Cold in the heat?
What you sow man is what you reap
If you've got the money
I think it would be funny oh oh oh
To take your girl
And spend a bit of your cash for me!
I've been watching you
'Cause then she might be happy
No longer lonely oh oh oh
An' I could take her out the next day
For pretty much free!
I've been watching you
You were always meant to walk out that job
You keep stopping
Should tell your girl more often
That loving is all about doors unlocking
Now you're certain ‘nuff near a man free
With a buddy holly hiccup on a karaoke
Tweedle on the needle,
Man you adjust the thread
Great granddaddy fought in Gallipoli
The only of his friends not shot down dead
Lovers all talk in the spits and tongues
Fight in the playground
Bully each other
Double dare kids that pollute their lungs
Threaten with the rep of their big boy brother
Some of us stay, want to run away
Momma still wants you home for supper
Work all day, little to no pay
Dance up-town right down to the gutter
With the dee-dom dom-dee
Da-da-dee-dom-dom-dee
Move outta' the way man, dom-dee
Da-da-dee-dom-dom-dee
I've been watching you
Ah, she wants money, money,
Money, money, money
Yeah, she wants money, money,
Money, money, money
Wah, she wants money, money,
Money, money, money
Yeah, she wants money, money,
Money, money, money
If you've got the money
I think it would be funny oh oh oh
To take your girl
And spend a bit of your cash for me!
I've been watching you
'Cause then she might be happy
No longer lonely oh oh oh
An' I could take her out the next day
For pretty much free-e-e-e!!
Said, ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma
Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-money oh
Said, ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma
Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-money oh
I've been watching you
Said, ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma
Ma-ma-ma-ma-money oh
Yeah, ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-ma
Ma-ma-ma-ma-ma-money oh
I've been watching you
If you've got the money
I think it should be funny oh oh oh
To take your girl
And spend a bit of your cash for me!
'Cause then she might be happy
No longer lonely oh oh oh
And I could take her out the next day
Here's Ya Getaway
Bye bye baby ill cya later
Bye bye baby ill cya later
My man looks like the old Shakin' Stevens
He says I resemble like the old Steptoe
He sits down slow but quick sniff up the blow
Reminisce about beans and how we all do grow
And the good man says bloody feel like leaving
But hes lean again forgotten what I already know
Made enough money shottin' bobby bills and po
He spent it all quick sniffin' up on the blow
Hard for your playin no smoking on the night bus
No shit Holmes with your big boy Sherlock
The man got chickenpox at 23
If you go down the docks you better take all of your money money money money
It ain't no dunny, it's a toilet
Great grandaddy, got sent there
So go back home
Stop cloggin' up pubs with your bullshit talkin'
And the nightbuses that complain at us
Peeps call us right-wing but we're pretty fucking liberal
I shit you, you not cos we're all for the equal
And yes J, I agree the first Predator is much better than the sequel
No question, the second one's feeble
Kids with skids, and coughing up dust
Yeah I'm waiting man, I cuss, must, and man
Now bike chain broken, now that too much rust
And people slowly stepping in ways trying to cuss us
Here's ya getaway
I ain't gonna try to cry
Hard for your playin no smoking on the night bus
And so I must say
Kids with skids, and coughing up dust
I sad to see you cut the ties
Good man says bloody feel like leaving
In these cities, hard to see the stars overhead
Can see the moon though the street light turns it blood red
The star symbolises the guts we bled
The mouth got fed the winding alleys that we tread
The moon much bigger representing the dead
Who lie in the sewers under soldier's feet
They stir as you march while your asleep they walk the street
Put your ears to the drain you can hear them weep
So we all chat about it and we decided you should getaway
Here's ya getaway
You're getting away
Man here's ya getaway
And yeah bye bye baby
Ill see you later
Ill see you later
Here's ya getaway
Rob the bank here's ya getaway
And ill take my ticket get out of this town
And get away
Here's ya getaway
Ah cha cha baby
Here's ya getaway
Rob the bank take the getaway
And ill talk to the pigs hear as I say
And id get yourself out of this city, oh getaway
Oh man here's ya getaway
And id getaway, getaway, id getaway
Oh yeah show to the peeps I see what I see
And oh, rob the bank, Make a getaway
And ill rob the bank, but ill take a getaway
Here's ya getaway
Bye bye baby ill
I ain't gonna try to cry
But I must say
Bye bye baby ill
I sad to see you cut the ties
Queens in the pocket girl in a locket say
Boys wanna knock it other wanna rob
I see when ya coming girl ya look
Stunning running for the friends of mine,
Well it's more for the power and the hour
After hour well he's itching for the powder
One time, well it's' dear for the fire hate for
The liar living for the bass and beat, close
To the wire no one wanna hire didn't want
A working week, well the ole town crier
Looks for a buyer out there finding your
Feet in dreams of schemes and drug filled
Friends will be fine for someone to meet
I own earth wind and fire, it breeds the
Hunger that keeps me on the road again
It's earth wind and fire I don't own thunder
It's owned by a love of mine
With a beat
Of the drum the made your head spun
See no hear no speak no son, look like a
Gun held by the young in a far gone land
Shooting everyone, fee fee fi fi fo fo fum
Is the package in the back becoming a
Problem, fee fee fi fi fo fo fum is the habit
That ya have still fun, counting on ya
Losses carrying crosses looking at your face
In the dirt, travelling busses hiding
From the rozzers pretending that your
Extravert, well the gil you accosted and
Then took hostage escaped while you
Were at work, after three years two days
Paranoid drug haze couldn't stand to live
A life of hurt
I own earth wind and fire,
It breeds the hunger that keeps me on the
Road again it's earth wind and fire I don't
Own thunder it's owned by a love of mine,
With water blood and wine she temps me
Back time after time, well it's earth wind
And fire I don't own thunder, it's owned by
My old heart it's been 13 hours too much of you my friend my dear and now I cower
Looking at you looking at you oh shit shit I'll go cook myself a brew
Verse.
Love it oh sometimes at least I fall
Put it up to much to call home sometimes
Well I dance the two step look at you swing
Not sure what I mean don't know what I sing
I just dance on the harpsichord string
Move it down when your coming up
Lose it down when your tip toe dancing
Enhancing all the pressure prancing
All around this place every night and
Day when we were in the rat race
Shouting back to the oldest people
Chat at the tenor in the cold top steeples
Like no screaming
My dear they will dry off ya cheeks
And never been down the factor to much of
That can bring you right down to tragedy more oh me
Losing myself in this race
You see me see me see me see me seeing me
See me see me me me
What's in my liberty
In a hectic test a no one protestin you when imp so damn scared
Live for the life and the love I need an the lead in the life cos I never
Play fare
Chorus
Verse
I got my own way home I got my own keys
So why you looking at me like your a lady
I got my own kinda groovy
Smoking too much and drinkin
You bring yourself down in pain
Bdbbyebdbdyebdbyebdye
For the love of the living and the live cut free
She all on the floor while I drink whiskey
And look to the corner think about me all about me
Never go self cos your walk with a pelvis white boy Elvis dance around
This floor much quicker than you
Look at this look at the boys dancin think there impressin but they ain't
Do shit I'm on groove from the grooving loosing as I use ya as
I go moving crying the tears not for myself and not for you honey have no
Fear
And now I break to the floor when the old piano comes crashing
Sometimes I'm not sure what I'm gonna do but I aint here for more
Take my last match with desperate passions and a few up facts
Chorus x2
Verse
Love it oh sometimes at least I fall
Put it up to much to call home
Bass Guitar
I grew up in the in the days 1990's
People drunk cans and fought for Tony
What were you, what were you coming from?
Walking the shoes just to wear 'em out
Breaking down is what you're feeling
And that's like living: giving way
But no-one really understands their freedom
And no-one understands society
Well I went to buy myself a hand gun
What do you think, man? shoot down everyone
See you back oh running star
But I spent all my money on this crapped out piece of shit called 'the bass guitar'
With an ear wigga, with a break down low, with a "ello baby"
We all know what you got to do
Always just comes down to you
We all know what you got to do, man
Always just comes down to yo-ou-ou
He got hit down to the curb
He said "I screamed and I shouted but nobody heard"
He said "I've preached, I've taught and I've learn't"
He said "now, I'm just down from the suburbs"
With an here we go, with a break down low, with a "ello baby"
We all know what you got to do
Always just comes down to you
We all know what you got to do, man
Always just comes down to yo-ou-ou
He got hit down to the curb
He said "I screamed and I shouted but nobody heard"
He said "I've preached, I've taught and now I've learn't"
He said "now, I'm just down from the suburbs"
Well, I-I-I-I I went drinkin down at the bar
I went drink driving in your car
See you back now running star
Cos right now I'm not sure if I can drive for shit but fuck it ah-ah-ah
Back In The Game
Take your brother down to the sea,
Have two's on a cigarette.
Young sons mozy it happily
Learn facts on the soviet
A crowded room that holds just three, takes four do you connect?
And all this shit means fuck all to me.
Long livers in the sunset.
So crazy Billy Jay Jones, robs banks just for the shits
Man alone giggling so stoned, pick up the phone
Cos that money I leant you said was just a loan
You're danger prone, with too much gel and a whiff of dad's cologne
Leave me alone,
Cos now you come down and you just go and lower the tone
Chorus
But after about ten clear minutes, he was back in the game.
Thought he was done man, thought he was finished,
But he's back up again
And after about ten clear minutes, he was back in the game.
Thought he was done man, thought he was finished,
But he's back up again.
With a tainted brain of intoxication purple heart smartarse
Got on the transistor, said that you missed her,
Looking for selectors and found no one better than you.
With bother boy blues, take up the old
Tick up the avenues. And talk like you do what you do,
Takin up time, but now it comes down and it's for who the bell tolls.
Chorus
And after about ten clear minutes, he was back in the game.
Thought he was done man, thought he was finished,
But he's back up again
And after about ten clear minutes, he was back in the game.
Thought he was done man, thought he was finished,
Well, they blew up the chicken man in philly last night
Now, they blew up his house, too
Down on the boardwalk they're gettin ready for a fight
Gonna see what them racket boys can do
Now, there's trouble bustin in from outta state
And the d.a. can't get no relief
Gonna be a rumble out on the promenade
And the gamblin commissions hangin on by the skin of his teeth
Well now, evrything dies, baby, that's a fact
But maybe evrything that dies someday comes back
Put your makeup on, fix your hair up pretty
And meet me tonight in atlantic city
Well, I got a job and tried to put my money away
But I got debts that no honest man can pay
So I drew what I had from the central trust
And I bought us two tickets on that coast city bus
Now, baby, evrything dies, baby, that's a fact
But maybe evrything that dies someday comes back
Put your makeup on, fix your hair up pretty
And meet me tonight in atlantic city
Now our luck may have died and our love may be cold
But with you forever I'll stay
Were goin out where the sands turnin to gold
Put on your stockins baby, 'cause the nights getting cold
And maybe evrything dies, baby, that's a fact
A New England
I was 21 years as I wrote this song
I'm 22 now but I won't be for long
People ask me "When will you grow up to be a man?"
But the girls I loved at school are already pushing prams
And I loved you then as I love you still
Though I put you on a pedestal they put you on the pill
I don't feel sad about letting you go
I just feel sad about letting you know
Well I don't want to change the world
I'm not looking for a new England
Just looking for another girl
Well I don't want to change the world
I'm not looking for a new England
Just looking for another girl
Well I loved the words that you wrote to me but that was bloody yesterday
I can't survive on what you send
Every time you need a friend
Well, I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you cared
Well, I don't want to change the world
I'm not looking for a new England
Just looking for another girl
Well I don't want to change the world
I'm not looking for a new England
Just looking for another girl
Looking for another girl
Looking for another girl
Boy you came like a hurricane
Knocked me down like a tidal wave
Didn't see you comin' so quick
Or that you were movin' so slick
Always thought love was such a hoax
Throwin' shoes at my radio (why?)
Silly love songs made me so sick
Couldn't stand 'em, now they all click
And the reason is this, this, this
I feel like I'm about to fly (hey!)
Hey boy you got my on my tip toes
Don't stop, kiss me and away we'll go
Ooh Wa Oh Oh Oh Wa Oh
Can't shake it, so elevated
Take me any way the wind blows
Don't stop, love the way you'll make me float
Right up off my tip toes
All my friends say I'm freakin' out
They don't know what it's all about (so)
Call my girls up, tell 'em all why (hey girl!)
Call the boys up, tell 'em bye bye (bye bye bye)
I don't know what you did to me
It's like a world with no gravity ('cause)
Now you got me feelin' so high
Feel like I'm about to fly (hey!)
Hey boy you got my on my tip toes
Don't stop, kiss me and away we'll go
Ooh Wa Oh Oh Oh Wa Oh
Can't shake it, so elevated
Take me any way the wind blows
Don't stop, love the way you'll make me float
Right up off my tip toes
It's a long way down so don't me fall
You got me feelin' ten feet tall
Every kiss is like the Forth of July
Feel like i'm about to fly, hey
Hey boy you got me on my tip toes
Don't stop, kiss me and away we'll go
Woah oh oh oh
Take me anyway the wind blows
Don't stop love the way you'll make me float
Right up off my tip toes
Hey boy you got me on my tip toes
Don't stop, kiss me and away we'll go
Woah oh oh oh
Can't shake it so elevated
Take me anyway the wind blows
Don't stop love the way you'll make me float
(Intro)[Verse 1 - Peeta's Perspective**]
You say you know love,
but you are just reflecting words you hear.
No iron in your veins,
could give you any sense of pain or fear.
It's just another lie,
it's just another calculation.
And when the power's out,
we're just another old sensation.
This blood* keeps me alive,
but what is it that runs through you?
Electricity and wires,
dictating everything you do.
You tell me that you hear me,
and all your memories are real.
But how do I know,
you don't just feel what you've been told to feel?[Chorus]
We run around the rules,
we run around the rules,
we run around the rules.
'Round and around,
two by two,
we run around the rules.[Verse 2 - Katniss' Perspective**]
There's water in your eyes,
And I know I'm the reason that its there.
But still I don't feel bad,
because I know that you have more to spare.
And just behind your eyes,
are switches that can turn back on.
To clear away today,
'till all your memories are gone.[Chorus]
We run around the rules,
we run around the rules,
we run around the rules.
'Round and around,
two by two,
we run around the rules.
We run around the rules,
we run around the rules,
we run around the rules.
(we run around the rules)
'Round and around,
two by two,
we run around the rules.
