Philip Charles Bradbourn OBE MEP (9 August 1951 – 19 December 2014) was a British politician, and Member of the European Parliament for the West Midlands, for the Conservative Party. He was a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2014.
Born in Tipton in 1951, Bradbourn was educated at Tipton Grammar School and Wulfrun College and Worcester College, where he obtained a post-graduate Diploma in Municipal Administration in 1972. Raised in the Black Country, he lived in the area until his death. He was awarded the OBE for public and political service in the Queen's Birthday Honours List in 1994.
Bradbourn was a parliamentary candidate for Wolverhampton South East in the 1992 general election and stood for the European Parliament in County Durham in 1994. Until his election he was adviser to the Conservative Group Leader on Wolverhampton City Council. He held various local authority posts mainly based around planning. He was also the Chairman of the West Midlands Region Conservatives.

About Philip Philip was first elected MEP for the West Midlands in 1999. He was Chief Whip for the Conservatives in the European Parliament from April 2004 to January 2007, and was Conservative Spokesman on Transport, Local Government and Tourism until December 2006. He is currently Conservative Spokesman on Justice and Home Affairs. He is a Member of the Transport, and Tourism Committee and a Substitute member of the International Trade Committee. He was Deputy Chief Whip for the Conservatives in the European Parliament from 2001 to March 2004. He is Honorary President of the European Parliament's Sri Lanka Liaison Group. Philip is also a Member of the USA and South Africa Delegations and a substitute Member of the South Asia and EU-Canada Inter-Parliamentary Delegations. ...

A new MEP has been officially appointed to represent the West Midlands. Daniel Dalton takes the seat formerly held by Philip Bradbourn, who died last month following a battle with bowel cancer. Mr. Bradbourn had represented the region in the European Parliament since 1999. The new Conservative MEP is a former Warwickshire county cricketer. He has been working in Brussels for ten years advising the party on agriculture and culture. He says that he will continue the work of Philip Bradbourn to represent the region in the EU.
