Philip McDonald is an English recording studio audio engineer, best known as the engineer for EMI and later for Apple during The Beatles studio years alongside with Neil Aspinall, Geoff Emerick, Mal Evans, and others. In Apple, McDonald joined as senior balance engineer. He was just 25. He was responsible at EMI for engineering work on albums by John Lennon, The Shadows, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Roy Harper and George Harrison.

Kobe Bean Bryant (born August 23, 1978) is an American professional basketball player who plays shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Bryant enjoyed a successful high school basketball career at Lower Merion High School, where he was recognized as the top high school basketball player in the country. He decided to declare his eligibility for the NBA Draft upon graduation, and was selected with the 13th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets, then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. As a rookie, Bryant earned himself a reputation as a high-flyer and a fan favorite by winning the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest.

Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal led the Lakers to three consecutive NBA championships from 2000 to 2002. A heated feud between the duo and a loss in the 2004 NBA Finals was followed by O'Neal's trade from the Lakers after the 2003–04 season. Following O'Neal's departure Bryant became the cornerstone of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise. He led the NBA in scoring during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons, setting numerous scoring records in the process. In 2006, Bryant scored a career-high 81 points against the Toronto Raptors, the second most points scored in a single game in NBA history, second only to Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game in 1962. He was awarded the regular season's Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) in 2008. After losing in the 2008 NBA Finals, Bryant led the Lakers to two consecutive championships in 2009 and 2010, earning the NBA Finals MVP Award on both occasions.

Nathan "The Hog" Hedge (born in Brisbane, Queensland, 28 May 1979) is a professional surfer raised on the Northern Sydney beach of Narrabeen.

Having served his apprenticeship at the highly pressurised line-up of East Coast Australia’s North Narrabeen, Nathan ‘The Hog’ Hedge has proven himself to be one of the areas most highly regarded sons. His style is characterised by both power and precision, while his control inside a barrel bares his own personal mark of determination.

Joining the Rip Curl team as an unabashed grom, Hog refined his competitive mettle surfing some of the best waves in the world alongside some of the greatest surfers in the world, thanks to ‘The Search’ campaign.

Hog qualified for the ASP World Tour in 2001, and quickly established himself as the unofficial spokesman for all things Australian. Never afraid to voice his opinions, his tenacity and honesty has both riled and endeared. By 2004 and 2005 The Hog had looked to cement his position amongst the top ten surfers in the world. Two runner-up finishes in 2004 at Teahupoo and J’Bay, consistent quarter-final finishes in 2005, it was only a dislocated shoulder in Tahiti and Hawaii in 2004 which had any effect on his momentum.

Phillip McDonald (born July 25, 1989) is an American college basketball player for the New Mexico Lobos men's basketball team. Born in Cypress, Texas, McDonald was the starting shooting guard for the Lobos the first three years he has played, and provided experience and depth off the bench for the Lobos his senior year.

McDonald attended Cypress Springs High School in Cypress, Texas, and garnered a number of accolades during his four year career. During his senior year for the Panthers, McDonald led Cypress Springs to a 32-7 record while averaging 19 points on route to being named the 17-5A District Most Valuable Player. Through his recruiting process, McDonald was rated a four-star recruit by both Rivals.com and Scout.com, and was ranked the 20th and 19th best shooting guard in the nation, respectively. ESPN pegged McDonald as the tenth best shooting guard nationally, enough to gain a 96 rating (out of 100) and a place in the ESPNU 100. After McDonald signed in late 2007, Rivals.com named McDonald the top shooting guard signee in the Mountain West Conference.
