เนื้อเพลง Jeep

Jeep Rubicon and Toyota FJ Cruiser Off-Road in Hawaii
We witnessed first hand the capabilities of both vehicles on the trails. I'm personally a Toyota guy, having owned several Toyota 4x4s, an FJ and now a Tacoma. They aren't evenly matched because the Jeeps articulation and flexibility with the solid front axle, shorter wheel base and being lighter weight. Driver experience, error and patience were also contributing factors in how each vehicle performed.
We didn't create this video to make one seam better than the other. Ohana Trails is a Jeep Club here that we were filming and by chance, a group of FJ Cruiser owners were convoying with them. Unfortunately, we had more video of the Jeeps over the FJ's.
All in all it was an epic day up in the mountains at Peacock Flats on Oahu looking over the North Pacific.

The Jeep - Modern Marvels - History Channel Documentary
Born amid the clamor of World War II, the Jeep was called 'America's greatest contribution to modern warfare.'
Six thousand years ago, somewhere in Asia, people began using horses and mules in warfare. For 60 centuries these animals were essential in military ventures: galloping forward in bold charges, hauling equipment, carrying scouts.
Then came World War I (1914-18) and its brutal advances in machine guns and artillery shelling. Men and animals were slaughtered in vast numbers. "It may be true," writes author A. Wade Wells, "that the idea (of the Jeep) was born in the scream of a shell-torn horse" during the First World War. World War II (1939-45) was a "war of motors," said Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. A few horses and mules were still used, but most of their jobs were taken over by motor-driven vehicles: tanks, motorcycles, big trucks, and, in the Allied armies, the Jeep—rugged, olive-drab, homely-but-beautiful, "America's greatest contribution to modern warfare," according to Gen. George C. Marshall.
The key Jeep prototype was produced in 1940 by a company called American Bantam. Big construction contracts were given by the Army in 1941-42 to Willys-Overland of Toledo, Ohio, which built about 363,000 Jeeps during the war, and Ford, which constructed 281,000 in Dearborn, Mich. The vehicles were shipped to every theater of the conflict and to the armies of several nations.
Intended initially for reconnaissance, Jeeps became multi-purpose vehicles hauling M2 ammo boxes and rations to front lines, carting generals on inspections, conveying messages from Point A to Point B. Jeeps also served during the war, notes one writer, as "ambulances, highly mobile weapons platforms, railway locomotives, and supply trucks with trailers." In addition, a Jeep could be a stove, a map table, a speaker's platform, an altar, a hearse.
The Jeep's war-time success hinged on several factors:
It had remarkable traction in mud, snow, and sand. This strength came from several design attributes, including four-wheel drive, which delivers power to all four wheels simultaneously. Among other factors helping the Jeep's traction and mobility: a peppy engine, big tires with road-grabbing treads, robust suspension, small size, high ground clearance, and a low center of gravity.
Jeeps also were cheap to build and easy to repair. The U.S. government paid Willys-Overland $748.84 for each Jeep it produced. The Army could quickly train an Iowa farm boy to fix them. After World War II, the Jeep continued to serve in armies around the globe, while also moving into the consumer market.
The Jeep's history as civilian transport is complex. Several manufacturers have been involved. Ownership of the marque "Jeep" shifted around after it was trademarked in 1950. Hundreds of models came forth, some of them forgettable, some of them classic—such as special Jeeps that deliver the U.S. mail, Jeeps embraced by off-road enthusiasts, and Jeeps that helped create the market for Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs).
Talented auto men helped Jeeps thrive over the past 40 years. The Jeep booster who got the most publicity was Lee Iacocca, in the 1980s. An equally important figure was Roy D. Chapin Jr., leader of American Motors Corp. (AMC) from 1967 to 1977. He plunked down $75 million in 1970 for the grievously ailing Jeep operation of Kaiser Industries. This was a major gamble, derided in many Detroit offices and taverns, but it paid off—Chapin built up AMC's Jeep effort, saw sales numbers increase dramatically, and made the Jeep name alluring to future investors and owners, such as Iacocca's Chrysler, which bought AMC in 1987.
In the post-war years, several companies produced four-wheel-drive vehicles to compete with Jeeps—for example, the International Harvester Scout (first model year: 1961) and the Ford Bronco (1966). Passionate hobbyists across the land devote long and fruitful hours to restoring and rebuilding old Jeeps, including models from World War II. For a range of relevant Web links, see the website of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association—mvpa.org.
Many restored models will be displayed through December at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Mich., near Detroit (chryslerheritage.com). The company is conducting a major
celebration of Jeep's 70th anniversary, honoring a great and gritty product, as fine a motor vehicle as America has produced.

Project-JK Sidewinder Bronco Peak Jeep Trail
Come visit us at: http://www.WAYALIFE.com
Bronco Peak is a short trail that is situated within the Corral Canyon OHV area and is located just south of I-8 near to the town of Alpine or about half an hour east of El Cajon. According to the Southern California Back Roads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails book by Charles Wells, Bronco Peak is an difficult rated nasty hardcore trail very steep with tight brush large boulders and that several places are steep enough to cause a rollover if driver is not careful front and rear lockers are recommended. And, even thought its only 2.7 miles long, it is also recommended that you allow about 2 hours to complete it and more if you are going with a bigger group. Being that this trail was so short, our group of 3 Jeep JK Unlimited Rubicons, 2 JK Unlimited Saharas and 2 JK 2-Doors Xs decided to first run another short but difficult rated trail nearby trail called Sidewinder. Unfortunately, it would also be the only trail that a majority of our group would do.

Sand Crawling in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon! - Wide Open Throttle Episode 33
On this episode of Wide Open Throttle, Jessi Lang sets out to tackle off-roading at Pismo Beach, home of the most extensive coastal sand dunes in California—1,500 acres to be exact. With the help of off-road veteran David Hamilton and a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, she takes on Pismo's largest bowls and attempts to make it through the whoops without snapping the Rubicon's axle.

Meeting a 4x4 Legend: "The Ugly Jeep" - Dirt Every Day Episode 4
On this episode of Dirt Every Day, Fred Williams meets the Jeep that almost flunked him out of high school and sent him down the 4x4 road. Nicknamed "The Ugly Jeep," it's a beat up 1951 Jeep CJ3a built to be inconspicuous in an era when trucks were better known for chrome and wild graphics.

RUBICON : A Legendary Jeep Trail & Off-Road Adventure - Part 2 of 3
Come visit us at: http://www.WAYALIFE.com
Originally made as a single half hour video, RUBICON : A Legendary Jeep Trail & Off-Road Adventure was broken down into a 3 part series, each approximately 10 minutes long and done so that it could be broadcasted on YouTube. In episode 2, we pick-up the pieces of Inyo-JK's Jeep, brush off the dust and continue our trek to Rubicon Springs. Along the way, we pass by the Soup Bowl, take in the impressive views across Spider Lake, descend the off camber granite slabs, tackle the rock obstacles at Buck Island Lake, negotiate our way down the very challenging Big Sluice, add a couple of stock Canadian Jeeps to our group, cross the historic Rubicon Bridge and then, just as we we pull into camp, we hear a call coming in over the CB... it's Trail Bud.
Crossing through the El Dorado National Forest up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the Rubicon Trail is truly one of the most beautiful ones I've been on, bar none. Of course, its unrelenting 22 miles of boulders that need to be crawled, steep ledges that need to be climbed, narrow trees that need to be squeezed between, deep muddy water crossings that need to be forded and tippy off camber terrain that needs to be carefully negotiated is ultimately what makes the Rubicon Trail so legendary and famous around the world.

After the great response to SUNCHASER STAR TRAILS (https://vimeo.com/54741100), my brave team and I trekked to the world-famous Eureka Dunes in Death Valley National Park to search for some of the darkest skies on Earth. Despite temps below freezing, we went on December 13th, 2012 – the night of the Geminid Meteor Shower Peak, and a time of great planetary alignment. Armed only with boxed wine, firewood, and our DSLRs, we had to conquer epic climbs, sand roads with the 4x4 Jeep, and the occasional UFO!
But it was all worth it when the skies cleared and showed us an incredible galactic palette! Star Trails shot at 25 sec exposures. No special effects used, just the rotation of the earth's axis. Photography Merging: STARSTAX. Used Canon 5D & 7D, with a 24mm/1.4 lens and a 28mm/1.8. The Geminids get crazy as the sun comes up (2:20-2:35) but you can spot a bunch more throughout, if you look closely -- or here's a nice shot (http://bit.ly/SkZGdw). There's also some passing planets (1:15-1:30 and 2:15-2:25). I believe the first big one is Jupiter.
The "UFO" appears at (1:30-1:35) and makes three broad circular sweeps over the desert. Though in timelapse it appears to be moving fast, consider the 5 seconds = about 50 minutes, so it's creeping. There was no sound, so it definitely wasn't a helicopter. Closer picture here (http://bit.ly/T3yK3s). It can also be seen cutting through the circular star trails in the shot used above!

PUSH PULL
A glimpse of a friend and athlete by the name of Pete Billington. Film by Landis Fields, Zac Wollons, Punn Wiantrakoon, and Brian Berringer. Directed and Edited by Landis Fields. The project required 2 locations. All of the outdoor shots were taken out of the back/top of a four door jeep wrangler going up Mount Tamalpais. Everything else took place on a stage in a controlled studio environment that was lit using 2 soft boxes. The entire film was shot on 2 canon 7D's (mostly at 60p for "slow-mo" flexibility later on while editing) and 1 Canon 5D at 30p which was conformed to a 24 frame timeline. All cameras were equipped with different lenses that fit the needs of each shot. Music by A Perfect Circle - Outsider (Apocalypse Remix). I hope you enjoy the film as much as we did creating it.

Red Scarlet Fixed Lens Camera - First video of a working Scarlet !
This is the very first public footage of a working Red Scarlet Fixed Lens camera. I'm currently at Red Studios helping with the Santa Fe 3d Workshop with Geoff Boyle. Just as I am sitting there...in comes Jarred with a WORKING Red Scarlet 8X fixed camera! Naturally I was dying to hold the camera. As Jarred passed it to me, he told me I was the first public person to hold a working Red Scarlet. Let me tell you folks, it is real and is working. The Scarlet I was holding had the 5inch lcd touchscreen. The lens gear ring which can be set to zoom, iris or focus is buttery smooth. QUALITY. The electronic zoom works like a charm. I used the up-down rocker on the camera to zoom in on a Jeep in the parking lot (though I was "Mr. Shakey" due to the sheer excitement of finally getting to hold the Red Scarlet.) Justin O'Neill and I got to see it for a mere brief moment and off it went back to the vault. This should be comforting to those who may fear that RED wouldn't have time for the Scarlet with all the Epic buzz going on. This gives me more confidence that the Red Scarlet is definitely around the corner. I have been really lucky to have held both the Epic and Scarlet. The Scarlet is lighter in weight than the Epic even with the fixed lens. This is due to the Scarlet body being more narrow. The weight felt very good and the camera felt rugged. Touch screen controls were functional. Enjoy! http://www.tonacitran.com

2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 0-60 MPH On Road Review: Jeep Week Video # 2
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4X4 is of the most capable off-road vehicles that you can buy today. Of course the Jeep Wrangler can trace it's heritage way back to 1941 and the second World War where it was the Ironic go anywhere vehicle of American Service men. Today the Jeep Wrangler is the crucible of the Jeep DNA. but while Jeep can't build the Wrangler fast enough, many people no longer us it as a rough and ready off-road ride but instead as a family truckster. In this TFLcar review we test 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4X4 the way that most will will drive it....on road and of course from 0-60 MPH.
