Roman Numerals 101
I did my best!
RULE: You never put more than three of any letter next to each other. Example: Episode XXXIII or 33 is the next episode. The one after that will be...? 34 or XXXIV
The next top 10 was just filmed 10 minutes ago. I am going to need a couple of hours to set the annotation (pop-ups) and then it will be out. Guessing before 10pm EST.

Roman Numerals - Interactive Math Lesson (PowerPoint)
There are seven symbols used in the Roman numeration system such as I, V, X, L, C, D and M with the corresponding values such as 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1000, respectively.
The Roman numeration system uses the principle of addition and subtraction.
When the principle of addition is used, a symbol can be used 3 times only.

How the Roman Numeral System Works - Music Theory
The Roman Numeral system is a way of writing down and understanding the relationships between chords. It's very simple, and understanding it will give you a better way of writing down your own ideas, mapping out what you want to do musically, and give you a clearer picture of music overall.

Roman Numerals had no Zero, or Place Value - Animated Math
https://www.patternplaymath.com/ MisterNumbers animated video shows Roman Numerals. It shows how Roman Numbers work. It compares Roman Numerals to our Arabic Numbers showing how the number zero was a huge change that creates place value and makes math simpler. ZERO first showed in India around 780 AD, spread to Arabia and didn't make it to Britain until about 1400. Zero is sophisticated and is a great boon to the world of numbers.
WHERE A number IS is valuable. This is called place value. You can't have place value without a zero. Zeros mean nothing, yet zero is used to create totally different numbers just by where they are.
What difference does a zero make? Add a couple zeros after $5 and suddenly you at at $500, or $5000, or $5,000,000.
Roman Numerals change and add a new letter value at each 5 and 10. Roman numbers are based on ten digits like almost all counting systems except clocks, navigation and computers, but those will be other videos.
Think of our world of microns and Tigs and pi value to hundreds of places. Maybe that is one of the reasons why the huge Roman Empire fell. Their number system couldn't keep up when you had to create a new number for each new value
