Mysterious Caucasian Mummies - Lost White Tribes of Asia

Mysterious Caucasian Mummies - Tocharians: Lost White Tribes of Asia .The Whites of Ancient China http://www.rense.com/general64/chui.htm http://frontiers-of-anthropology.blog... http://atlantisonline.smfforfree2.com/index.php?topic=272.0 A branch of nomadic Indo-European people of the indo-germanic sub-group, related with Indo-European people (Germans, Celts, Iranians (Aryans), Greecs...) of Europe and Central Asia, called by Greecs as Tocharatoi, by Chinese and later Turko-Mongolian people as (Ta-)Yu-echi/Da-Xia/Da-Hia and Da-Shi (''Tajik'') were nomading in the pontic and central Asian´s stepes up to China and Mongolia. Earliest records of their existence goes back for 4000 years ago. Unlike most Indo-European languages, their language was an isolated one, tough it belonged to the centum-branch (centum: 100; German, English, Dutch...) of the Indo-European languages, unlike the satem-branch (satem:100; Iranic languages (Abestan/Avestan), Sanscrit, Vedic, Sarkholi, Hindustani/Urdu....). The first evidance of their language dates on the 8th century A.D when first religious books were written in the Tocharian language in all Central Asia, their native and original language beside Bactrian and Soghdian. However, they became famous under the name ''Kushan'' (from Guishang, modern chinese provnce Gansu) and later again they were part of the larger Central Asian´s tribalic confoderation of the Hephthalites, a mixed ethos (Sogdians, Bactrians, Tocharians, Persians, Turks, Mongols and possibly Tibetans and Koreans) formed of deadly warriors from large parts of Asia. James Churchward had made a great deal out of an "Inner Asian Empire ruled by White People" and made it one of the most important forces in prehistory. As usual, he got a few things mixed up. But there was a time that a Caucasiatic people controlled the very heart of Asia, and right up against the Mongols of the Gobi desert as well. A Tocharian female mummy with long flaxen blonde hair, perfectly perserved in braided hair. Items of weaved material, identical to Celtic Cloth. A Tocharian man with red-blond hair; his clear European features still visible after lying nearly 3,500 years in his desert grave in China Tocharian male mummy. To his right is a swastika decoration found on his helmet recovered from the Tocharian grave sites. The swastika was part of the original Indo-European language, meaning "well being" or "Good luck" Recent excavations in the Tarim Basin in Xinjiang province have uncovered more than 100 naturally mummified corpses of people who lived there between 4,000 and 2,400 years ago, indicating that the European race of red and blonde hair with blue eyes lived in this area at one time. The bodies were amazingly well preserved by the arid climate, and according to the New York Times "...archaeologists could hardly believe what they saw." The mummies had long noses and skulls, blond or red hair, thin lips, deepset eyes, and other unmistakably Europeanan features. Dr. Victor H. Mair of the University of Pennsylvania said, "Because the Tarim Basin Caucasoid corpses are almost certainly representatives of the Indo-European family, and because they date from a time period early enough to have a bearing on the expansion of the Indo-European people from their homeland, it is thought that they will play a crucial role in determining just where that might have been." One such mummy is of a teenage girl with blond hair and blue eyes. Her remains was found in a cave and has become quite a tourist attraction in Beijing. She has been given the name, "The Lady of Tarim" and is on display at the museum. It is believed that she was someone of importance who lived over 3,000 years ago. She was found buried in fine embroidered garments of wool and leather, along with beautiful jewelry, jars and ornaments of gold, silver, jade and onyx. Her remains are in such a remarkable state of preservation that she looks as if she was sleeping. TOKARIAN DNA The genetician mtDNA out of the mummies were certainly Europeans, adding that Europeans are a very homogeneous group. The two Xinjiang mummies belonged to the same genetic lineage as most modern-day Swedes, Finns and Tuscans." CONCLUSIONS DNA evidence says that Tokarian was not like "Indo-Iranian", but "European". Both modern and ancient sources are (now) describing them as blond-haired and blue-eyed. Their clothes and their weaving patterns were European - identical to the style ("fashion"?!), the colorfing AND the weaving techniques known from the "Nordic Bronze Age" cultures in Northern Europe. Some references say they wore Kilts, had tartan-patterned clothing and "witch's hats" -- yet another parallel from what appear in the European bronze-age culture.

the origin of the Indo-European family of languages ... Tocharian, for instance, is a group of Indo-European languages spoken in northwest China. It is hard to see how Tocharians could have migrated there from southern Turkey, he said, whereas there is a well-known migration from the Kurgan region to the Altai Mountains of eastern Central Asia, which could be the precursor of the Tocharian-speakers who lived along the Silk Road ... ....(size: 6.3Kb)

The Tocharians or Tokharians (/təˈkɛəriənz/ or /təˈkɑriənz/; Chinese: Tǔhuǒluó 吐火罗) were speakers of Tocharian languages in the Tarim Basin (modern Xinjiang, China). The Indo-European language of the Tocharians was supplanted by the Turkic languages of the Uighur tribes about 800 AD.

The Afanasevo culture is a strong candidate for being the earliest attested representative for speakers of the Tocharian languages.[citation needed]

Around the beginning of the 20th century, archaeologists recovered from oases in the Tarim Basin a number of manuscripts written in two closely related but previously unknown Indo-European languages. Another text recovered from the same area, a Buddhist work in Old Turkic, included a colophon stating that the text had been translated from Sanskrit via a toxrï language, which Friedrich W. K. Müller guessed was one of the newly discovered languages.

Müller called the languages "Tocharian" (German Tocharisch), linking this toxrï with the ethnonym Tócharoi (Ancient Greek: Τόχαροι, Ptolemy VI, 11, 6, 2nd cent. AD) applied by Strabo to one of the Scythian tribes that overran the Greco-Bactrian kingdom (present day Afghanistan-Pakistan) in the second half of the 2nd century BC. This term was itself derived from Indo-Iranian (cf. Old Persian tuxāri-, Khotanese ttahvāra, and Sanskrit tukhāra), the source of the term "Tokharistan" usually referring to 1st millennium Bactria, as well as the Takhar province of Afghanistan. The Tócharoi are often identified by modern scholars with the Yuezhi of Chinese historical accounts, who founded the Kushan empire. These people are now known to have spoken Bactrian, an Eastern Iranian language that is quite distinct from the Tocharian languages, and Müller's identification is now a minority position among scholars. Nevertheless "Tocharian" remains the standard term for the languages of the Tarim Basin manuscripts and for the people who produced them.
