EL ACCIDENTE DE LOEB LE DEJA FUERA DEL RALLYE MONTECARLO 2015 El duelo entre los dos Sebastien se ha frustrado en el último tramo del segundo día, cuando Loeb ha sufrido un accidente con su Citroën DS3 WRC arrancando una rueda. Ahí se ha acabado el gran atractivo del Rally de Montecarlo 2015, la pelea entre los dos últimos campeones del mundo. Después de la exhibición de Loeb ayer, todo parecía apuntar a que hoy podría mantener ese ritmo, sobre todo porque en el primer tramo del día volvía a imponerse a todos sus rivales. Sin embargo, las difíciles condiciones del día, con hielo, nieve, agua y barro en los tramos, convirtió la jornada prácticamente en una lotería. La niebla, para más inri, hizo más difíciles las cosas a todos los pilotos. La mala posición de salida y el barro acumulado en los tramos perjudicó a Loeb, que en el penúltimo tramo ya tuvo que ceder la cabeza del rally a Ogier. En el último perdió el control del coche, impactó contra un bloque de hormigón y arrancó una rueda, perdiendo todas sus opciones. Al menos mañana se reincorporará a la carrera y a buen seguro que dejará buena muestra de sus capacidades. EL final del segundo día ya ha dejado un panorama más habitual, con los tres Volkswagen en cabeza de la general. El líder es Ogier, con 1:45 de ventaja sobre Latvala (si termina así será una gran posición para el finlandés) y 2:34 sobre Mikkelsen. Los puntales de Citroën le pusieron las cosas fáciles a la escuadra alemana ya que Kris Meeke también sufrió un accidente en el último tramo. El mejor coche francés es, por tanto, el del noruego Mads Ostberg, quinto por detrás del estonio Ott Tanak (Ford). Dani Sordo ha ganado varias posiciones hoy. El cántabro es ahora octavo en la general, justo por detrás de Thierry Neuville, del que le separan poco más de medio minuto.
