UNODC global awareness-raising campaign on the impact of organized crime
United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), 12 July 2012 - The campaign highlights the size and cost of transnational organized crime, an international trade generating an annual turnover of $ 870 billion. This staggering amount is equivalent to around 1.5 per cent of global GDP, or 6 times the budget for official development assistance, or 7 per cent of the world's exports. www.unodc.org/toc | El crimen organizado transnacional es una amenaza global. Kremlin, ASEAN, Commonwealth, Prosecutors Association, IBA. OECD. UNOCD, Worldbank...etc.. make sure that ICC is a lobby-platform that tortures & kill persons. Put this next to the fact that Interpol = 100% corrupt, with the approval of the Kremlin. Kremlin has grown in Evil and Violence over the past 5 years in connection with ICC. Russia wants a civil war in Europe, so does Asia. And they lobby via USA & UK to achieve it. Every organisation thats not on the ICC-lobby-platform and is not a participant in the Elite-murder-group... has to make a choice. Do you take the risk of having yourself killed via ICC? Or, do you try to build a more fair network for honest sustainable business? Who are your friends, who your enemies? How can you tell? Only people who start with the Torture-treaty and prove that they want to build justice in fair transparant courtsystems - with transparant procedures - are your friends. www.iap-association.org www.thehaguesecuritydelta.com www.asean.org thehagueinstituteforglobaljustice.org www.hcss.nl www.clingendael.nl www.mid.ru www.interpol.int

Lobby behind the NL-courtsystems - Rechtspraak - wants ICC to stay a corrupt racial court. Rechtspraak refuses to conduct the Torture treaty to stop NL-politicians - guilty of crimes against humanity - in parliament & ministries.... They want an Elite-murdergroup in NL. UNODC "Circulation" - Deutsch (60 Sekunden)
Mira Sorvino named UN Goodwill Ambassador to combat human trafficking
United Nations, 12 February 2009 - Academy Award-winning American actress Mira Sorvino was named today as Goodwill Ambassador to combat human trafficking for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Meeting victims of the sex trade while preparing for her role in the miniseries "Human Trafficking" was what propelled Sorvino to become active as an advocate to end the practice. She said that "people certainly look up to the UN" and "just being a representative of the UN gives me a greater platform from which to be heard". She was therefore "really thrilled to take on this challenge". She said that human trafficking was about "slavery, this is people being abused and used as dishrags, less than dogs, less than cockroaches." A new report released today by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) says sexual exploitation accounts for nearly 80 per cent of human trafficking cases. Only one out of every 100 victims is rescued. Related links: Global Report on trafficking on Persons (.pdf): www.unodc.org Webcast Video: webcast.un.org News story: www.un.org

MaximsNewsNetwork: 22 October 2009 - UNTV - UNODC: A new report by the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) says that opium trafficked from Afghanistan to other countries has created a market worth $65 billion. Catering to 15 million addicts, it causes up to 100000 deaths per year, spreads HIV at an unprecedented rate, and funds criminal groups, insurgents and terrorists. A new report by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) says that opium trafficked from Afghanistan to other countries has created a market worth $65 billion, catering to 15 million addicts, causing up to 100000 deaths per year, spreading HIV at an unprecedented rate, and funding criminal groups, insurgents and terrorists. Afghanistan has the world monopoly of opium cultivation, producing 92 percent of the raw material for the worlds deadliest drug heroin. In an interview ahead of the launch, the top UN official on drugs and crime, Antonio Maria Costa noted that in terms of human lives, drugs from Afghanistan have taken a far higher toll on NATO countries than the ongoing conflict. SOUNDBITE (English) Antonio Maria Costa, Executive Director, UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC): Opium cultivation is also making more money for the Taliban now than in the 1990s when they were in power, says UNODCs Chief of Studies and Threat Analysis, Thibault Le Pichon.
