Shaykh Yasir Qadhi's khutbah on Lessons from the life of Prophet Ibrahim - Yasir Qadhi
Hajj the legacy of a Prophet and millions have gathered together in the most blessed land on earth to perform the rights that commemorate the actions of one great man - Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
Ibrahim (AS) is the single most respected human being on earth, a man whom Allah commands our Prophet (ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) to take as a role model.
He is the only human whom Allah calls, an Ummah by himself, in the Qur'an - What did Ibrahim (AS) do to earn this great honour that makes his Emaan equal to an entire Ummah of 1.6 billion Muslims!
Shaykh Yasir Qadhi dedicates his khutbah to the Legacy of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) - Lessons from the life of Ibrahim (AS).
"Whoever performs Hajj to this House -- the Ka'bah- and does not commit any obscenity and wrongdoing, he, or she, will come out as the day he, or she, was born - pure and free from sins." - [Agreed Upon]

The Ottoman's Conquest of Constantinople and the Current Syria-Turkey Conflict
Question: "In your work 'Madinah Returns to Center-Stage in Akhir al-Zaman', you have suggested that the Ottomans acted, consciously or unconsciously, on Dajjal's behalf by rendering considerable assistance to western Christianity. Furthermore, the Ottoman army has smeared the image of Islam with their barbarous acts when conquering Constantinople in 1453 from the Eastern Orthodox Christians and as a consequence deteriorated the relationship between the world of Islam, especially the Sunni world, and the Eastern Orthodox Christianity.
What is the significant of this historical event in the current conflict of Syria-Turkey and the nature of the alliance between Muslims and the Eastern Orthodox Christians (al-Rums) as has been prophesied by Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.?"

My question: "You have stressed the importance of walking on the path of Khidr a.s. and hence Islamic Spirituality to penetrate the subject of Dajjal.
In Surah al-Kahf verse 63, Allah S.W.T. has reminded us on the effort of Satan to cause us to be deviated from that path. Could you elucidate how we can protect ourselves from being deviated by Satan and how we can differentiate between the irradiation of the light of inspiration from Allah Most High and inspiration from Satan?"

Islamic perspective on other faiths by Shaikh Jawad Qazwini
How do Muslims view other religions?
The Qur'an describes Christians and Jews as members of the family of Abraham (one of the prophets) and Muslims respect these religions because they believe that they all worship the same God.
Muslims do not believe that Jesus was the Son of God, but that he was one of God's prophets, just like Muhammad.
Muslims believe in many of the stories about Jesus that the Christians believe in.
For example, they believe in the virgin birth and that Jesus will come again.
In fact, Jesus is regarded within Islam as a special prophet. His name is in the Qur'an 25 times - more times than Muhammad's.
Muslims believe that the Qur'an is God's most recent words and is his final message.

Why the Study of Islamic Eschatology has been Neglected by our Islamic Scholars Today
My question: "The study of Islamic Eschatology seems to be neglected by our respected Islamic scholars today. Even though there are some efforts on their parts to study Islamic Eschatology, however most of their works fail to build a correlation between the study of Islamic Eschatology an the Reality of the World today in many aspects such as politics, economy and social. Could you elucidate why such incidence happens and how we can overcome this problem? "

ABRAHAM HAGAR AND ISHMAEL - Islamic Hajj - An MTA Documentery
Hajj is a blessed event and fifth pillar of Islam. Indeed, the phenomenal event of Hagar and Ishmael in the wilderness of "Paran" is commemorated by Muslims each year during Hajj (pilgrimage).
Concerning this, before the advent of Islam, the following Biblical verses say that God spoken to Hagar (Abraham's second wife) at a time when she and her baby son named Ishmael were alone in the wilderness now called Mecca. At which time, God heard the cry of the baby; an angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven and said unto her:
"What grieves thee Hagar? Fear not: for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in your hand; for I will make him a great nation. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer. And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran" (Genesis 21: 17-21).
This verse of Genesis tells of the time and place in Hagar's life when she was alone in the wilderness with her infant named Ishmael. To start, the wilderness of Paran here mentioned is located in Arabia. In the time of the Prophet Abraham, Hagar and Ishmael (peace be upon them) were left there to settled at which time the land was unpopulated barren desert valley having no signs of life, food or water; for this the Bible refers to this place as wilderness of Paran. The Bible say Paran, but in Arabic, the word is Fa'ran—as Hagar and Ishmael were isolated in that part of the desert, passing by Arab-Egyptian traders regarded them as Fa'ran meaning two refugees.
Because of the miraculous well mentioned in Genesis 21:19, and since water is the most crucial element in desert life, Arab travelers on the trade route began colonizing near the well with Hagar and her baby Ishmael (peace be upon them). This eventually grew into a permanent Arab settlement from which Ishmael and his progenies became known as Arabs.
One of the prominent Arab tribes that emerged from this event was the Quraysh who trace their ancestry through Ishmael's second son named Kedar. Into this tribe that the Prophet and Messenger of God named Muhammad (peace and blessings of God be upon him) was born approximately six hundred years after the advent of Jesus (peace be upon him). Mecca thus became the center of the Islamic religion in the 7th century.

On the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Professor Robert Baum surveys the shared heritages of the three great Abrahamic traditions. He looks at the similar concepts of God, salvation, race relations, prophethood, scripture, good and evil, language, and divine law.
