Temperate forests grow between the tropics and the polar regions in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. They have four distinct seasons with a well-defined winter. Temperate forests have a moderate climate. They are home to many plant and animal species. Much of the food humans eat is grown in areas where temperate forests have been cleared and farms now exist. If you don't live in the tropics, chances are a temperate forest once was growing where you are right now. Temperate forests are also where many of our favorite foods first came from. Walnuts, apples, mushrooms, and maple sugar are all foods of the temperate forest.

Temperate Deciduous Forests

Video I made for an Environmental Science project. We had to make a wiki about Temperate Deciduous forests, and we could get extra points for a video. And our group needed those extra points. I won't name any names (mostly because I don't know those names), but some of our group members were... less inclined to actually do any work. I spent 15 hours total working on this video, 12 of them on our day off of school (veteran's day). And then I was up at 5 in the morning the day the project was due finishing up the wiki page. Anyway, yeah. Enough complaining. Here's the video. Me and Daniel spent a day filming forests with my crappy 640x480 camera, and I spent hours and hours doing graphics editing for the still pictures. The final result is a 4-minute informational video with random cuts to crappy video quality of trees. And you can see in the middle of the video where I got bored and threw some humor in there. Anyway yeah. I'm done typing here. Enjoy. And if you want to use this video for your own school project, you can use any and all of the information from it you want, but please don't use the actual video without crediting me. And if you have the same project, just make your own video. Don't be lazy, spend your own 15 hours on a video.
