Ryan Roxie born in Sacramento, California, December 1, 1965 is an American guitarist/singer-songwriter currently residing in Stockholm, Sweden. He is the founding member of Roxie 77 and probably most well known for his guitar work with Alice Cooper, Slash's Snakepit, Casablanca, Tal Bachman, Dad's Porno Mag plus many more. Along with his writing, recording, and touring schedule, he is also developing a new TV web magazine show entitled 'All Excess with Ryan Roxie'. Ryan re-joined Alice Cooper's live band in 2012 and continues to tour with him.
Roxie was born in Sacramento, California and grew up in the East Bay in a small town called Pleasanton. Ryan's father, Polish, used to play trumpet and his mother was a drummer in her high school marching band. Around age five Roxie picked up the guitar but was more interested in drums. It wasn't until he was around eleven or twelve that he started taking guitar seriously. Roxie often sites Keith Partridge as an early influence.

When a cleaner tone is needed, Roxie reaches for a 2012 Gibson ES-335. Since Roxie doesn’t use channel switching or drive pedals, he moves to the neck pickup—which is roughly half the volume than his bridge pickup. The trio of Gibso...

This video was filmed on location at Casino Rama, Ontario CANADA on October 30th, 2014. An hour or so after Alice Cooper and his band left the stage playing to a sold-out audience, I had the privilege of sitting down for an informal interview with Alice Cooper's Lead Guitarist Ryan Roxie. I think as I do, that you will find this to be both informative and inspirational on several levels, and I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I did spending the time talking with Ryan. I definitely have some individuals to thank, as It was made possible through the combined efforts of these three people: Many thanks to Jenna Hunter, the Director of Public Relations at Casino Rama, who not only provided us with a gorgeous suite to film this interview in, but who also went "above and beyond" to ...

Prima di mostrarci alcune interessanti alternative, Ryan ha voluto elogiare e rimarcare il ruolo principe di questa scala nella musica rock.
