8 Simple Rules Season 1 Episode "Kerry's Video"
I fucking LOVE this show!!!!Sadly it's , like, obsolete as far as ever hoping to see it on TV goes, except for rare YTV moments, but don't even get me started on that!If someone asks, or I feel like it, I'll add more full episodes:) It's cool how I can just put the whole thing at once,eh? Anyways, this is not HD, clearly, but then again it's not that bad. I can't even find the DVDs for it, but if I do there's a chance I can get stuff from there as well. Please let me know what you think of the show and whatnot , I'd love to hear from fellow fans. And I don't personally know any, so that kind of sucks. And this(description) is very long but it's my first video so that's why. So...enjoy yourself! And drink some root beer!

8 simple rules season 3 episode 21 part 1
Prom night is around the corner, & Bridget wants to throw a safe after-prom party in a hotel. Cate tells her no, but later, CJ tells her if there isn't a place to party, the kids will find one. So, Cate decides to throw the after party at the house, which humiliates Rory, Kerry, & Bridget. During the after party, Bridget sneaks out to the hotel to throw her after party. CJ tracks her down, but ends up getting tied up on top of a TV in a hotel room. Meanwhile, Kerry has written an article about gay couples going to the prom. A girl named Monica asks Kerry to be her prom date, so they can "turn a few heads for the cause", but Kerry starts to get the impression that Monica really likes her as a girlfriend. It also turns out that Rory's prom date, Nicky Alcott, is gay, which disappoints Rory.

People In Order: 1. Age
Human Beings. 1-100
This is first in a series of four films – People In Order – commissioned by the UK’s Channel 4 in 2006. The concept behind our films was simple: we asked ourselves if you can reveal something about life by simply arranging people according to scales. Three minutes is a very short time to communicate something – perhaps too short to tell a story, or to get to know a character – so we wanted to make this series by setting ourselves some very straightforward rules, and then following them through over a long trip. The rules had to be simple so it would take the audience virtually no time to understand them. We established what scales we’d look at, and then chose how each film would be framed. Then it was a case of getting in a campervan and driving round Britain, filming as many people as we could over 4 weeks in February, coping with microphones crackling and our camera refusing to work.
The experience was exhausting but also life affirming. In our whole trip we were struck by how happy people were to help. Only a handful of our shoots were arranged in advance. We relied instead on the kindness of strangers - and we found that everywhere, from deprived urban estates to rural aristocrats.
The resulting films are like a list of government statistics where the citizens they are referring to have broken out from behind the figures on the page. The people on the screen stop us from seeing them as numbers. Even in single second bursts there are worlds of personality stretching out in front of us. The films are really about our awe at how big life is, infinite in its variety, even when it seems just normal to each of us living it.

True Reverse Perspective
This is the final proof-of-concept video from 2009, made to illustrate True Reverse Perspective. The scene was modelled and rendered in a camera-hacked version of AoI [ http://www.artofillusion.org ], Peter Eastman's open source, java-based 3D package.
In Reverse Perspective the expected visual rules are inverted, so close objects are small and far objects are big. This is not only true for whole objects, but their structure as well. So the near points of an object are closer together, relative to its far points, which gives the flared-out look of the buildings, and the scene as a whole.
Essentially, the positions of the vanishing-point and the focal-point are swapped. So now we are at the vanishing-point, where geometry shrinks to nothingness, and the focal-point lies some distance ahead, beyond which objects scale to infinity.
The effect is achieved entirely in-camera. The scene and models themselves have no unusual scaling, they're laid out in a normal / perpendicular fashion; the way the camera 'sees' the scene is altered to create the effect. Perspective is truly reversed.
__
[ Updated below ] As simple a concept as this is, it seems to not have been attempted before in CG, certainly with the intent of making a consistent, explorable Reverse Perspective environment*.
There are precedents however; painted Russian Orthodox Icons sometimes featured what is called Byzantine-perspective in the buildings and backgrounds - as a way of describing God looking out at the world, through the painting. It's a beautiful concept; a God's perspective.
Further, an artist named Patrick Hughes sculpts in what he describes as Reverspective. His work is optical-illusion, and based on reversing parallax and precession, rather than actually altering perspective.
__
I have some more videos, including various test videos and a silhouette-effect demo. And I will add more, documenting my recent work on implementing the RP effect in Maya via the API.

- Link to a more recent paper on implementing TRP in the Maya API, has some good background info on Reverse Perspective and is more technical (PDF): http://bit.ly/cixZuU
* Further research notes that Viktor Massalogin made a screensaver that rotates simple geometry in RP mode, in 2003. That said, [see below for updated info] I am unaware of anyone attempting a full environment in RP on purpose, but I can't imagine it hasn't happened, at the very least accidently, when people were developing computer-visualization algorithms and writing game-engines.
UPDATE:
David R. Belmonte has contacted me below with links to his Perspectiva Inversa work (both CG and paint). He has done excellent work in exploring this effect, and predates this project by some 10 years! I hope he'll return to this area of CG in the future and help show off the potential of the technique.

LATEST UPDATES - 2012 international educational schedule will be constantly updated in the upcoming months (bottom of post). thank you.
added boracay, philipines july 2012. http://mayadacademy.com/
//
here is what ive always believed should define a wedding film.
its very simple actually.
the couple, their families+firends, and what they go thru and feel during this once in a lifetime day.
and while i was blessed to have shot this film within a magical city in mexico, i feel it is important to perhaps touch on the location and all the little events that go on during the day; but to not get too carried away.
to me, the focus and pull of the film should always be driven and to travel alongside the journey with the bride and groom.
TECHNICAL TIDBITS
all this time // one republic used with permission. thank you www.songfreedom.com
- shot with 2 Canon 7ds + 1 Canon 5DmkII (3 cameras in total).
- 24p for the 7ds, 30p on the 5d converted progressively to 24p using a 1:1 frame re-map that allows the conversion to be 100% CLEAN with no articulating slows it down to look as though the footage was shot @ 36p.
- lenses mainly used were zeiss zf 35, zeiss zf 50 1.4 (now replaced with zeiss zf 20 makro), zeiss makro 100 zf, a few canon 70-200 2.8 IS, while the ultra sharp main ceremony camera was canon 2.8 L prime (awesome lens).
i have been already getting emails re zeiss glass, and i would say that for HDSLR cinema, they are the best bang for the buck and provide the best value/dollar. if you're unsure try an entry level zeiss 35 f2.0 and compare to its canon + nikon counterparts, and then you decide. every cinematographer i have talked to in the past 9 months have did this exact thing, and kept the ziess :) .
Keep in mind that the zeiss ze zf and zf.2 houses the EXACT same optics as the zeiss compact primes that go for $4000 per lens.
- photosession + reception stabilization provided via cinevate atlas 30 + steadicam pilot + 5dmkII + 24 1.4 (now replaced with zeiss zf 21) while ceremony steadicam pilot setup was 5dmkII + 16-35 (now replaced via canon 14L rectilinear).
the ceremony was VERY VERY windy as it was near the beach
- other stabilzation used was cinevate atlas30 + manfrotto 561 monopods.
-audio is all double system, the 25$ fuzzies on the lavalier mics went a long way to save the sound from being unusable from all the wind noise.
GOOFS - i went against the rules that i teach and swear by, hence there is a cameo of me in this piece (i didnt want to waste the shot)... let me know if you can point it out!
oh one last thing...
after all these years, i finally FINALLY got the epic crane processional shot that ive always dreamt of when i first picked up a camera and shot my first wedding.
enjoy, and dont forget that it's ok to cry a little when watching this piece.

Remember Lot's Wife and Let Go the Salt!
JOURNEY 2010: LIVING THE WILL OF GOD: LET GO THE SALT
Journey 2010 is about living in the will of God. It is about what John said in 3 John 1:4 "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."
Now God's Will, God's truth will always be corrupted and thwarted by unrighteousness "Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth."
END TIMES
This morning I will reveal to you the single greatest motivation we as Christians have for walking in the truth. This revealing involves "end times" teachings. Now most of us are very curious about the "end times". Most of you responded that something you would like to know more about is the Book of Revelations.
Let me give you this about that. Curiosity is not the proper reason to study Revelations. Jesus gives us the proper reason to study the Word or Revelations: "Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." If your study is motivated by your personal hunger and desire for righteousness, God will satisfy you, He will teach you. But if you are only motivated by curiosity or the pride of 'knowing', you will come away not knowing, not being satisfied.
Now as I teach this morning, you may question some of my suggestions as not being in line with what you believe is correct, especially among Southern Baptists. But allow me to clarify: The Southern Baptist Faith and Message is extremely vague about the end time teaching in the Bible. Here is what our official church belief is about the end times according to the Southern Baptist Faith and Message:
X. Last Things
God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth; the dead will be raised; and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to Hell, the place of everlasting punishment. The righteous in their resurrected and glorified bodies will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord. (2000 Baptist Faith & Message)
So if I get in trouble, it will not be from teaching something contrary to Southern Baptist beliefs. It will be simply because I am teaching something that is contrary to what you have been taught. But let me advise you. My belief's change only when I look at God's Word and study what it says and don't depend on others to tell me what to believe. The truth must be within you and it must be based upon what you have studied and struggled with. Don't accept at face value what I say or what others say. Study to show yourself approved - dokimos unto God, a workman who is not ashamed, but who rightly divides the truth! We'll see why that is so important.
OUR MOTIVATION
What Is This Single Greatest Motivation For Walking In Truth And Following God's Will?
1 John 3:1-3 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure.
JOHN SAYS THAT THE TRUTH OF CHRIST'S 2ND COMING AND OUR CHANGE INTO HIS GLORIOUS BODY IS THE HOPE THAT PURIFIES US.
1 Peter 1:22 Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,
So this truth of our FUTURE transformation when we are face to face with Jesus Christ is to motivate us in the PRESENT to obey His truth and in so doing become PURIFIED or CONSECRATED (agnízō - in 1 John 3:3) to God, which is what living in His Will and walking in His truth is all about.
I have read that in certain countries, hunters capture monkeys using a very simple but effective trap. They make a hole in a hollow tree and put a banana in it. The hole is big enough for the monkey’s hand to go in but not for its fist to come out. A monkey would then reach in and grab the banana. It then tries to pull its hand out while grabbing on to the banana to no avail. Its closed fist would be too big for the hole. For the monkey to be able to pull its hand out it has to drop the banana. But hunters are well aware that monkeys will not let go of the banana and that the monkeys will kick and squeal when the hunter approaches but they refuse to let go of the banana. They refuse to let go of the bait and so become captured.
LET GO
This morning I want each of us to "let go". If we are to Live in the Will of God, we must "LET GO"
Jesus was approached by a young man who wanted to know:
(The Message) Matthew 19:16-22 Another day, a man stopped Jesus and asked, "Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?" Jes
