Season 5 Episode 4
Our Version of Events is the debut album by Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé. The album was released on 13 February 2012 by Virgin Records, following Sandé's winning of the Critic's Choice Award at the BRIT Awards 2012. Though Our Version of Events is her first release, Sandé has been active in the industry since 2009, most notable appearing on singles by Chipmunk ("Diamond Rings") and Wiley ("Never Be Your Woman"). The album features R&B; and soul music. Sandé began working on the album when she was eleven years old.[citation needed]
Sandé began working with Alicia Keys for the album, and for Keys' upcoming album. She also expressed interest in working with Nicki Minaj on the album. Naughty Boy was a major collaboration with Sandé from the day she began creating music professionally. Mike Spencer, Paul Herman and Professor Green also got involved with the production of the album. She wrote every track on the album, saying that the key to a good song when writing is using "honesty" and "raw emotion".[2] Upon the release of the album, Sandé's vocal ability has been compared to the likes of Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Beyoncé and Annie Lennox. Tracey Chapman, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell and Lauryn Hill are all major influences for her album. Madonna also expressed interest in Sandé's music.
"Heaven" was released in August 2011, as the first single from the debut album, the song charted at number-two on the UK Singles Chart and later became an international success, charting within the top-ten in many European countries. Sandé released "Read All About It" with Professor Green in November 2011, which resulted in her writing "Read All About It (Pt. III)". "Daddy" was released in November 2011, which charted at number twenty-one on the UK Singles Chart, however the single also became an international success. "Easier in Bed", a non-album promotional single was released onto iTunes in December 2011. "Next to Me" was the third single released, which became a global hit. Entering the UK Singles Chart at number-two and the Irish Singles Chart at number-one. "My Kind of Love" was released as the fourth single from the album in June 2012 and appeared on The Voice UK in order to promote the single. Upon release of the album, the album debuted at number-one on the UK Albums Chart and remained at the top spot for five non-consecutive weeks. the British Phonographic Industry certificated the album 2× Platinum, making it the fastest selling album by a British recording artist since Susan Boyle's I Dreamed a Dream in 2009. The album also debuted at number-two on the Irish Albums Chart.
A re-release of the album occurred on 22 October 2012 including three new tracks, a remix and a cover of "Imagine" (originally by John Lennon), replacing Sandé's version of "Abide with Me".[3] "Wonder" (a song credited as Naughty Boy featuring Emeli Sandé which is featured on the US version of the album) is the lead single of the re-release. It also serves as the lead single from collaborator Naughty Boy's album, Hotel Cabana. In September 2012, Our Version of Events became the best-selling album of 2012 in the UK overtaking Adele's 21.[4]

ABC - Poison Arrow 1982
Great quality very rare video recorded in the studio of Top Of The Pops 1981. ABC are an English New Wave band, that charted ten UK and five US Top 40 singles between 1981 and 1990. The band continues to tour and released a new album, Traffic in 2008.
The group's first single, "Tears Are Not Enough", made the UK Top 20 in 1981. Soon afterwards, David Robinson left the band and was replaced by drummer David Palmer. In 1982, the band released their debut album The Lexicon of Love, which reached number one in the UK Albums Chart. Produced by Trevor Horn, it often featured in UK critics' lists of favourite albums: it ranked 42nd in The Observer Music Monthly's "Top 100 British Albums" (June 2004) and 40th in Q magazine's "100 Greatest British Albums" (June 2000). The band had three Top 10 hits during 1982: the singles "Poison Arrow", "The Look of Love (Part One)" and "All of My Heart" and shot high-concept music videos.
ABC found it difficult to follow up their debut. The second album, Beauty Stab, was released in November 1983. It performed poorly in comparison to its predecessor. Gary Langan, who had engineered The Lexicon of Love, produced the effort. The first single, "That Was Then but This Is Now", briefly appeared in the UK Top 20, followed by a Top 40 showing for "S.O.S.". The band eschewed remixes for the project, and the 12" single for "That Was Then but This Is Now" featured the disclaimer "This record is exactly the same as the 7" version. The choice is yours." Stephen Singleton retired from the band in 1984.
Now a duo of Fry and White, augmented by two non-performing band members, Fiona Russell-Powell (known as Eden) and David Yarritu, ABC's chart fortunes in the UK dwindled further with the 1985 album How to Be a...Zillionaire!. Keith LeBlanc from Tackhead programmed much of the beatbox work for the album. The group did score its first US Top 10 hit with "Be Near Me" (which also made the UK Top 30). The album also featured the singles "(How to Be a) Millionaire", "Vanity Kills" and "Ocean Blue". ABC was one of the first bands to do video scratching" for several videos from the How to Be a... Zillionaire album, including the video for "Be Near Me".
Following a hiatus. while Fry was treated for Hodgkin's disease, ABC returned with Alphabet City. Best known for "When Smokey Sings", a tribute to Smokey Robinson, the album also spawned "The Night You Murdered Love" and "King Without a Crown" as singles. All three tracks would make the CD version of the group's first anthology.
In 1989, the duo issued Up, their fifth and final PolyGram studio album. This time experimenting with house music, ABC scored a minor UK hit with the single "One Better World". They then released another single, "The Real Thing". During this period the group worked on a couple of outside productions aimed at the house music scene. One was Paul Rutherford's (Frankie Goes to Hollywood) solo album and first single release; the other was for Lizzie Tear on the group's own Neutron label.
In 1990, the band released a greatest hits compilation album, Absolutely. This covered all of ABC's albums up until 1990, and featured all of their singles. The compilation made the UK Top 10. A video package featuring promos was also released. One new song, "The Look of Love '90", was released to promote the package.
The group then moved to the EMI label (and MCA in North America), where they recorded the 1991 LP Abracadabra. "Love Conquers All", the first single, barely placed in the UK chart, though Italian production team Black Box provided remixes of "Say It" which appeared in the US dance chart.
On 1 September 2007, ABC performed a set with other 1980s acts at Retrofest at Culzean Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland. This appearance included a rendition of "Addicted to Love", with Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet and Peter Cox of Go West.
In the summer of 2008, ABC toured the US as part of the 2008 Regeneration Tour, which also featured The Human League, Belinda Carlisle, A Flock of Seagulls, and Naked Eyes.
In April 2009, ABC performed the Lexicon Of Love album live at the Royal Albert Hall, accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra. Anne Dudley of Art of Noise, who arranged and played keyboards on the original record, conducted the performance. A music review in the 13 April 2009 edition of The Independent newspaper, described the performance as a "glorious night that has placed one of the Eighties' most perfectly constructed albums back near the top of the pop pantheon".
In 2009 ABC toured the US as the headliner of the 2009 'Regeneration Tour', which also featured Terri Nunn of Berlin, Wang Chung, and the Cutting Crew. Please visit my other Channel. Keep Rockin!.

Robert Palmer - "Secrets" (Full Album)
Secrets is Robert Palmer's fifth solo studio album, released in 1979.
It includes "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)" which peaked at #14
on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979, and "Can We Still Be Friends",
which peaked at #52 in 1980. The album peaked at #19 on the Billboard 200 and #54
in the UK Albums Chart in 1979. Palmer also scored hit singles with Jealous
and a remake of the Todd Rundgren song Can We Still Be Friends. "Jealous"
rose to #31 in Canada while "Can We Still Be Friends" made it to #52 in the United States.
The album peaked at #19 in the United States and charted in the Top 50 in five other countries.
Secrets was recorded entirely in New Providence, Bahamas, and an island
influence is apparent on a number of its songs. But for the most part,
the album features some of Robert Palmer's funkier stabs at R&B; and soul ballads.
The addictive "What's It Take" gives the clearest sense of a tropical recording setting,
and its juju mix of a pop beat and Caribbean rhythms brings a smile with each new listen;
Palmer was apt to call it the most fun song he'd penned. The song's theme of marital/relationship
troubles crops up in almost every track on Secrets, but such repetition never becomes
grating thanks to Palmer's eclectic musical heart.
One can hardly imagine the aforementioned tropical "What's It Take" sitting easily with
an earnest cover of Todd Rundgren's "Can We Still Be Friends?" and a passionate,
scuzzy take on "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)," but of course Palmer
manages to mix genres and tempos with his trademark flair.
These three songs are among the highlights of the album, but Palmer treads similar
ground through the remaining songs, and expert sequencing along with Palmer's
subtle and clean production make for a cohesive whole.
"Mean Old World" is a beautiful sleeper of a song, where Palmer nearly defines
the blue-eyed soul genre. The song's uplifting tones and Palmer's gentle voice
together make for a track reminiscent of Nina Simone's version of "O-o-h Child."
"Jealous" sees Palmer rocking out with endearingly edgy punk-inspired guitars.
Palmer is as suave singing about paranoia and jealousy as he is about love,
which makes the album a breezy delight from start to finish. Secrets might not be essential
like its successor, Clues, but its accessible nature, fine execution, and honesty
mark it as another fine moment in Robert Palmer's recording career.

Geri Halliwell - Passion - 7. Ride It
"Passion" is the third album by Spice Girl Geri Halliwell. It was released on June 6, 2005. The album was phenomenal, but was a commercial failure. It peaked at #41, and sold a modest 5,432 copies. The album spawned two singles: "Ride It" and "Desire". In my honest opinion , "Love Never Loved Me" should have been the first single. I think it would have done extremely well in the UK Charts.

Argentinian Albums Chart - #17
Canadian Albums Chart - #127
Greek International Albums Chart - #37
Italian Albums Chart - #49
UK Albums Chart - #41

Ozzy Osbourne -Running Out Of time+Lyrics music video, Rockin' Ozzy!
Down to Earth is the eighth studio album by English heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. Released on 16 October 2001, the album reached number 19 on the UK Albums Chart and number four on the US Billboard 200 albums chart. Down to Earth spawned just two singles, although both reached the top-ten of the US Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and reached number 18 on the UK Singles Chart. The album was certified Platinum and has sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide.[citation needed]
Down to Earth is Osbourne's only album to feature bassist Robert Trujillo, who left the group to join Metallica in 2003. It was the first Osbourne album to feature drummer Mike Bordin, previously of Faith No More. Though he plays on the album, guitarist Zakk Wylde did not contribute as a songwriter for the first time since joining Osbourne's band in 1988 and this was due to many of the songs being written before Wylde rejoined the band. Osbourne's previous guitarist Joe Holmes was involved in the writing process and also Osbourne instead chose to utilize outside songwriters such as Tim Palmer and Marti Frederiksen.
